I am very satisfied with the business. I had a chance to talk to the owner - Larry. He provided me information on proper maintenance of the lawnmover, use of additives for the gas. He expained the background of needed repairs. I actually paid less than I was quoted as the technician fixed my starter by cleaning contacts in relay. There was no need for a new starter. He also fixed some minor electrical wiring problems - which I was not aware of - safety feature preventing moving when move backward was not working properly. New carburetor was installed and calibrated. Oil and filter were changed since it was flooded with overflowing gas. Technician explained me on what happened when carburetor was bad in plain words. Technician also fixed the wobbly pulley by adding extra shim - this eliminated rattling during the moving. Last year the Carns Equipment wanted to install the whole new assembly ($56) to fix that. I am very satified with the rendered services at Larry's Saw shop - prompt service, complete explanations of what needs to be done, what was done, tips on how to maintain, timely phone calls from the business about estimates and readiness. I am impressed! Mowed the grass afterwards and I used a lot less gasoline.
