Universal Air went above and beyond. My husband and I wanted a second opinion on our water heater replacement, as our was starting to leak. They not only came out the same day that I called, but answered all of my questions and came in with a quote that was half what a larger chain gave us. They were able to come out 3 days after, to replace our unit. They were on time, respectful of our home, and took the time to make sure we understood what was being done and how our new water heater worked. And even when literally a half hour later I called with more questions; took the time to come back over, double check everything, answer my questions, and tweak the system at no cost. Would recommend and use again.

Replacing an HVAC system is not something most people do a lot in their lifetime. In my opinion that leaves a lot of greedy contractors out there waiting to pounce on unsuspecting home owners with no knowledge and gouge them with a ridiculous price. With my background in property management I had a ballpark idea of what replacing my 16 year old furnace and central air should cost and proceeded accordingly. I got 4 contractors to quote and was quite surprised at the range which went from reasonable to obscene. The 3 things I require are honesty and feeling comfortable with a contractor (they will spend a fair amount of time in your home) quality installation with quality equipment at a fair price and showing up in a timely manner while answering any questions you may have. Universal Air Heating & Cooling did just that and more. Bill the owner was punctual and courteous. He answered any and all questions with an attention to detail that has sadly gone by the wayside when dealing with service people. He provided a detailed written quote with a fair price and model numbers. He and his crew arrived on time on the agreed date and installed the new system seamlessly. All the old equipment was removed and the area restored to original condition and before they left the system was tested on both Heating and Cooling. I was so impressed I hired him on the spot to do work at my moms house. I could not be happier to recommend Bill and Universal with confidence. Give him a call-you will not regret it!!

We were very pleased with this entire transaction. Bill is a straight shooter who responded quickly to our inquiry and scheduled the initial visit in short order. When it appeared that he might be running behind, he called to let us know. He provided a thorough proposal and quickly answered our subsequent questions. The price for the project was very fair and we hired him. We set the install date and Bill called to let us know he could do the work a day earlier. This was fine with us. Bill and his crew arrived as promised and did an excellent job from start to finish. I plan on using Bill again in the future for other projects. Highly recommend him.

Answered all of our questions. Work was completed in one day. Not responding to my emails now regarding rebate or I would have given them 5 stars. All in all though, they were fast, clean and priced right.

My parents are elderly and handicapped their a/c went out once again due to shoddy work from another contractor they came out on a Sunday and my parents ended up needing a whole new unit which they installed on Monday and they are extremely happy and comfortable now

Our central air unit broke . They came out and replaced our out of date unit and installed a much needed additional unit as well. In this heat we were very happy about their installation ,workmanship, and fast service . We are enjoying our more efficient unit and the AC. Highly Recommend.

This company was amazing! I have never used homeadvisor before and did so on the advice of a neighbor. Within 5 min of requesting the service and stating it was an emergency, Bill of Universal Air LLC called me. 30 min after that he was at my home. This was on a Saturday! He spent 1.5 hours doing his best to at least get my AC to limp along considering it died on the hottest week this summer and we were going into an equally hot week. When it was clear that it had died he gave a verbal quote and followed that up with an official one via email within 10 min of leaving my house. The quotes matched exactly. I feel the need to mention that as some companies will tell you one thing then when the official quote comes it's a few hundred more! Not with Universal Air. Bill said if I decided to go with them and let him know before 2pm Sunday he could schedule me as early as Monday or Tuesday which was fantastic. They came on Tuesday (I chose that day due to another commitment. They would have been ready for Monday if I was.) Bill, Trevor, and Reds showed up promptly at 9am as Bill said they would. They put down their own drop clothes for me and worked very efficiently and thoroughly to get my AC installed. I really can't say enough great things about this team. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. I would also use homeadvisor again but as far as heating and cooling needs I would just immediately tell friends, family, and neighbors to go with Universal Air LLC. Great, polite, professional guys that know their stuff! Thanks again Bill and team!
