We moved into a 23-year-old single family home back in the fall and knew that the original HVAC system would need to be replaced as soon as we moved in for peace of mind. Because I had the time (the old system was still working), I got SEVEN estimates for different systems and brands and decided to go with Bill at Universal Air and the Trane unit. I decided to go with Bill and his company because of his personality and the way he was able to explain things, and also the quote that he provided my husband and I was the best value that we received. I also chose Trane because of the great reviews that this brand gets in magazines like Consumer Reports. I always research things very thoroughly and choose the very best product at the very best price. He was no™t the cheapest, but the cheapest is not what you want when you are making such an expensive and important investment for your home. He sold us the highest quality product at the lowest price. We decided to go with a 16 SEER high efficiency Trane unit. We replaced both the heater and the A/C. When completing the job, Bill and his team were prompt, clean, quiet, and explained things thoroughly as they went along. The system took about one and a half days to install, a bit faster than the 2 days that he initially estimated. When he was done, he went through everything with me again, explained all of the parts of the system, maintenance, thermostat, etc. He also helped me hook up the thermostat to my phone and was again patient in explaining how it worked. He answered any questions that I had and told me he was always available by phone or email. Bill and his team were friendly and polite. He was also able to fix a few other minor issues that we had free of charge. The initial quote was exactly what he charged. I would highly recommend Universal Air for your new HVAC system installed, or for maintenance on your current system. They were the best! My husband and I are very pleased and our new system looks great and runs beautifully so far. Thanks, Bill!

Everyone was very nice and helpful. The install was done quickly.

Bill answered all of our many questions, helping us through the maze of options. We did some on-line research about air condo systems and sizing. Other quotes offered larger systems, with options for even larger. But Bill stuck to his original sizing because "bigger is NOT better" with air condo. Installation crew was friendly and courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. The Nexia t-stat is pretty cool and allows me to control using my smart phone. Go ahead and hire these guys.
