Price Construction

This man has been running a construction business out of a residential area which sounds illegal right? Of course he'll get away with it though. He's also burned trash on the pole line and tried to block anyone from walking on it even though it's owned by ppnl. He's also broken my waterline to my house multiple times because they drive heavy trucks that don't belong on this road. Gotta love waking up to your neighbors kid revving his ATV and loud construction vehicles right next to my window. This person is a sick ticket and from what I've heard his company does a horrible job anyway.

All work done exactly as requested. The owner answers the phone every time we called or was back to us quickly. I would recommend to anyone.

Chip came to our new home on a Sunday to check out what we wanted to have done. We explained everything to him and told him we had to have it finished by the time we move in (3 weeks) and asked him if he was able to do it. He said he was. We asked him again to make sure and again, he said he was able to. He said it shouldn't take more than two or three days at the most. We wanted to have a wall removed between two smaller bedrooms, one internal door removed and finished over, and laminate wood flooring installed in the newly renovated room, another small bedroom, and a hallway. He got back to us in five days with an estimate. Again we asked him if he could have it done by our move-in date because now we were down to two weeks instead of three, and he said yes. We went out and bought $1000 worth of flooring and had it delivered. We let Chip know the floor arrived and he said he would start at the beginning of the following week. We never heard from him. We then got a text from Chip five days before we were to move into our home (a Sunday night at 7pm) saying he would "get to us tomorrow afternoon or early Tuesday". Our moving day was that Friday morning. When we didn't hear from him during the two weeks previous, we contacted and hired another contractor who came in and told us it would take five days, maybe six. I told him another contractor said two or three days and he laughed, saying unless he brought 10 workers, that was preposterous and in his 28 years of doing this sort of work, he never saw a job like this done in that short of time. He also pointed out many things Chip did not and brought much more detail to our attention that Chip did not. Chip wasted three weeks of our time. We could have called another contractor if he just told us he wasn't able to get the job done. Instead, he led us along for a couple weeks. If you want to get an estimate and then have your contractor vanish into thin air, then hire Chip Price. However, if you would actually like your project DONE, skip Chip and go with someone reliable.
