+ -1 moreI have used Barcaskey Outdoors multiple times for tree removal on our property. Each time our calls are responded to timely and the when he comes out to give the cost he can make the appointment to do the work in a reasonable period of time. They arrive on time and get right down to work and it's strickley all business between the crew. They are very safety aware with belts to tether them to the trees to prevent falls safety glasses hard hats when needed ear plugs when using the chipper. They are pleasent and respectfull and you won't hear the F-bomb dropped around your property. I highly recommend Barcaskey Outdoors for tree removal. And if you find out a critter has removed in they are also certified to do that removal too. I give them a 5 star A rating

Description of Work: He trimmed some trees, he built a little roadway for my riding mower to travel behind my storage shed. I also had a compost pile that he reduced in sized and hauled out of here.

Description of Work: Mike is wonderful. He is very professional and goes above & beyond the call of duty. He was of wonderful assistance with a critter problem when a previous person left us high & dry in spite of a contract without the issue being resolved. Cannot recommend Mike highly enough!!!!!! It remains to be seen whether the critter problem is completely resolved as only a turning of the seasons will tell for sure.Shall continue to work with Mike. |He offers solutions,not just hot air.

+ -1 moreAlthough the whole situation in itself was unpleasant, Mike was great! He removed the cat within a matter of minutes. He put her in a carrier and wrapped the cage in a blanket to calm her. He called me after he dropped the cat at the Animal Rescue League so that I would not worry about her.
Description of Work: I rescued a stray cat that I put into a cage in my basement to resocialize it. The cat got out of the cage, got scared, and climbed on a bookcase and jumped up into the rafters where she was stuck for 2 days. I was not able to get the cat out myself nor would she come down herself. I called Mike and explained the situation. Because the cat had not eaten for 2 days, he came to my home later that afternoon. He was very compassionate about my situation and did everything in his power to humanely remove the cat from the rafters. He then took her to the Animal Rescue League at my request. He went out of his way on his own initiative to investigate the local human societies. He was very personable, did the job quickly, and was very sensitive to the fact that I was upset about the situation. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. His rate is very reasonable, and he seems to be an expert at what he does.

+ -1 moreMike was great. He was the only person that answered first call on a Sunday, out of about 6 companies I attempted to call. He was able to come out within about an hour and a half. He was very knowledgeable and offered lots of information about the animal, including illnesses that might affect people or pets. He also took a few minutes to talk to me about some trees in my back yard, even though he doesn't do tree service in my area. Very nice, very knowledgeable, and very humane. Would definitely recommend him for animal removal, and wish we could try him for tree service! :)
Description of Work: Removed very sick raccoon; offered to get body tested by county agents to check for rabies or distemper

Explanations made to explain what was done and why. while doing job made sure neighbors and properties were safe from tree removal. removed tree and all debris. Was very careful we were satisfied with job. Also neighbor expressed they were satisfied by the job. Worked around power line and did not touch it.( power company not available to drop line while being done). Most of job was done in one day. Returned next to only complete removal of debris.

+ -1 moreMr. Barcaskey personally came to my house and provided an estimate that was well within my budget. When he came back to do the work, he and his assistant did an excellent job cutting the branches and cleaning up afterwards. I would use his services again and recommend him to anybody.
Description of Work: I needed maple branches cut away from the electric power line coming into the house, dead wood cut out of another maple tree and a smaller tree cut down.

+ -1 moreAfter I contacted Mr. Barcaskey he came to my home and we discussed the job. I found him to be very knowledgeable and professional. Mr. Barcaskey quoted me a price on the spot and I hired him. His estimate was well within my budget and easily beat estimated that I had received from two other contractors, that were 2-3 times more. Mr. Barcaskey called me a few weeks later to set a day to come out. The work went smoothly. I'm very happy with the work he did and the price. Would recommend him to anyone.
