From our first phone call to the last hand shake, everything was done professionally. Tony set a time for our appointment and arrived on time. We were pressed for time with a closing date quickly approaching. We went over the details of our items to be moved and where we were to be moving. Tony gave us his estimate, which was very fair and offered to give us some boxes to do some packing on our own. We were happy to have the boxes and wrapping material to defer some the cost. Tony arrived a day before his crew and did a good deal of the packing himself His crew arrived the next morning, on time and were very professional and accomidating to our concerns and requests. We were to make settlement on our home the next day at 10:30 am and 12:00 pm on our new home. This is where everything fell apart. Our settlement kept being pushed back and when we alerted Tony to our setbacks he did everything he could to work with us during this very stressful time. The problem we faced was that Tony's truck, with our furniture on it, was schedule to go to Boston the next morning. We finally made settlement on our new home at 5:00 pm and by 6:00 pm Tony's crew were hard at work unloading our belongings into our house. I need to give praises to the to the five different men who loaded and delivered our things. To a man... each one was up beat, professional and had a great work ethic. Tony arrived at around 7:00 pm and did his calculations on the cost of our move and even with all of the issues we encountered, the cost was less than our estimate by a fair amount. We threw Tony's schedule off by at least 4 hours and he had to have his crew on stand by to get the job completed. He could have charged us much more and taken advantage of our situation but did not... a man of integrity and honor for sure. We can not say enough good things about this company, the owner and their employees. Kudos to Millennium!!!

We had a great experience with this company. They were quick to respond and came to estimate the job within 24 hours of my initial call. We used 4 guys to move from our townhouse in King of Prussia to a home in Gulph Mills and they were finished within just 5 hours out of the estimated 10. They were professional, efficient and friendly and we would definitely use them again!

These guys were great. A 4 man crew showed up right on time (8:30 a.m.) and went right to work. I have to admit that I was a little unorganized and the guys were very patient and helped me pull everything together. The owner met us at the 2nd house and helped move stuff in as well. The owner and crew were all very kind and professional. They wrapped up by about 1:00. There were no dings or damages to any of our stuff or the walls in either house. I would highly recommend Millennium! Oh yeah.... I also had a friend who had a move scheduled with another company (can't remember the name) and they didn't show. He called Millennium and they pulled a crew together last minute and got him moved that day! He also highly recommends them but isn't on AL to write a review.

They did an awesome job! We moved every other year for the past 10 years, so I know what I am talking about. Mr. Bonitatibus came before for an estimate. He wasn't my cheapest estimate but he gave very honest answers about what to expect and what not. I know that reassembling and assembling of some of my furnitures isn't easy and they just wrapped it up without damaging anything. The crew came in time, were super friendly, worked very hard, handled our stuff with care and were done so fast like no other company before. The final price was even a bit less than the estimate because the crew worked to fast. Thanks again!

I had gotten several quotes from three different moving companies. One quote was too good to be true and the other two were about $300 apart. Millennium was the most expensive, but we went with them having used them before twice. We knew they were good and we thought the extra money was insignificant. They showed up on time and got started right away. They ran into trouble trying to get the treadmill apart and out of the house, but their foreman, Rich, didn't give up and made it happen eventually. When it came time to settle up the bill, the total came in at $500 less than what they originally quoted! All of the guys were professional and really good to work with too. I can't say enough good things about them.

They were excellent. That was wonderful. They're personalized. Their price was very reasonable. I ended up having to move more quickly than I thought. My settlement was much quicker than I thought. He did me a favor. He fitted me in and I was just blown away. I would highly recommend him for a mover. He was very professional. He came and looked at everything I had. He gave me the options for them to either pack for me or for me to pack. I chose to pack myself.

I began communicating with the provider on 5/12 for my move on 5/31. We emailed back and forth about a few questions I had about pricing and details. I finally asked to confirm their availability on 5/31 so I could book and never received a response. I also tried calling and leaving voice messages and I heard nothing. It was almost as if they didn't even want toe business any longer. You would think this company would at least have the professionalism to email be or call me back and let me know if there was an issue or if they were unavailable that day. I will happily take my money elsewhere.

Dear [Member Name]: We are sorry that you felt the need to write a negative review about our company. Although unfair, we want to apologize that we are fully booked for the date (5/31)you requested on 5/28 to book. Sadly, we book up very quickly this time of year and it is important that reservations are made well in advance to secure the date desired. We have the notes of your call and conversation on the 12th. You requested pricing and our representative gave you the information you requested. We asked at the time if you wanted to book and you were not ready. The emails received by you, were all answered. We have record of the correspondence. We are sorry that our entire building had power failure during the terrible storm, and along with our emails for this day as well as our phone systems were all down. You may verify this with Comcast business, as the problem was throughout the county. If you made an additional call during this period, sadly, we did not receive it. I truly wish you would have reserved your date of the 31st at the time of your call on 5/12. We would have been more than happy to do so. We feel so badly for folks when we are booked and we cannot help them, when they do not reserve far in advance this time of year. We again are very sorry and would love to assist you with your move should another available day work for you. For your inconvenience, we will provide you with $50.00 worth of free boxes or "free" wardrobes for your move. Again we are sorry . Have a pleasant day

I had three moving companies come to my sparsely furnished home to provide estimates on moving our furniture and household possessions into a storage locker 600 miles away. I chose the three companies based on Angie's List reviews. The owner of Millennium Moving Co., Tony came to my home and left me with an estimate. I had explained that I would need to take boxes, plastic drawers/containers, clothes out of storage when we arrived, since I couldn't fit everything we needed while we initially stayed with relatives into my small car. I requested the movers pack my 4 large mirrors, lamps, fine china and crystal (so it could be fully insured) and hanging clothes/coats into wardrobe boxes. Two of the three companies recommended I rent a 10x20' storage locker, which I did. I chose Millennium from the three companies because reviews were good on Angie's List and Tony came in with the best price by a few hundred dollars. As a single mom, the price and quality of reviews were the two most important factors. I was pleased that on the day of the truck load, they arrived 10 minutes early with an ample crew. I had finished most of the packing, but needed help with the items mentioned above and a little more. I had empty, new packing boxes there to keep costs down. The head mover, Rich, was all business, while the other men were more friendly. I had marked plastic containers I would need to take out of storage at the other end of the move with bright colored duct tape. However, I also told the men emptying closets that I would need to take the plastic storage drawers out of my storage locker too, along with access to the wardrobe boxes. I believe that information was conveyed to Rich by myself and the other movers. The truck left later that day, arriving at the storage unit the next day, Friday. Since I had to close on my house on Friday, I had a relative meet the truck at the storage unit on Friday. They unloaded all the wardrobe boxes into her vehicle, including clothes I intended to keep in storage. Tony had included 13 wardrobe boxes in my estimate, and yet the movers took the now empty wardrobes back with them. My relative called me to tell me the clothes were in her car. What I did not know was that the hanging clothes from my children's closets had not been packed in wardrobe boxes. The crux of my issue with Millennium is the way they packed the storage locker and some communication issues. They did leave the duct tape marked plastic bins in the front 1/4 of the unit. However, instead of placing my furniture in the back of the storage unit and putting boxes and plastic storage drawers in front of it, they made a 7' high wall of furniture 1/4 of the way into the storage locker and all the way across. They appeared to then have tossed my couch cushions and some other light items {which were unboxed) on top of the stacks of boxes. The result is that most of our possessions are inaccessible, including my children's hanging clothes which were not put in wardrobe boxes. My relative where we live now suggested I stop payment on the check due to the lack of care with packing the storage locker. I have never stopped payment on a check, so decided I would call the owner Tony on Monday morning, Dec. 23. I had to leave a message for Tony on Monday, but he called me back right away. I explained to him the way the storage unit was packed and that there were items I needed that were completely blocked in by tall furniture. He told me he would call the moving guys and call back. There were several calls that morning. Rich called me to explain where he thought a couple items I needed might be. He told me just hire a couple guys to slide a piece of furniture out and then I should be able to get to things. Rich's excuse for how the storage unit was packed was that he didn't know I needed access to it. I am not sure how communication broke down on that issue, as I know I told Tony I needed access, and I told movers on the day of the move. In addition, it seems like a no-brainer that furniture goes in the back of a storage unit, boxes in front. I felt like I was getting the run-around from Rich. I spoke again to Tony and told him what I would like to make this right is for him to hire a couple guys to move the furniture out of the way so that I can get to important things like my children's clothes, winter coats, etc. His answer was that if it was a local move he would be able to do something about it, but since I am out of state there's nothing he will do about it. He suggested I hire a couple of guys. I told him I needed to think about it and ended the phone call. I feel like they both gave me the run-around, but right before Christmas I did not feel right about stopping payment on their check, so I let it clear. On Dec. 24th, I went back to the storage unit with a couple relatives and we moved a cabinet out of the way along with many other lamps, boxes. chairs, etc. While we did find my kids' winter coats, we never found the boxes the movers had packed their hanging clothes into. There were many other items we could not find either. It will be awhile before I have my own place and can get my stuff out of storage. It concerns me a little what condition I will find things in and whether the extra $10k in replacement insurance I purchased from Millennium will be honored.

I feel that [Member name removed] comments and grades about my company are very unfair. Millennium Moving Co. did exactly what was asked of us, on time, and for exactly the price that was quoted to her. [Member name removed] said in her review that it is a no=brainer to load furniture in the back and boxes in the front. That is NOT how you stack a storage unit when you are trying to fit as much as possible in your unit. We stack boxes on top of furniture, then light items on top of the boxes floor to ceiling. Now, if you want the boxes in front,we would have done exactly that if possible however [Member name removed] was not there to tell my men that and her sister only pointed out that the clothes and certain tubs had to be in the front, which they were.I am a very fair and reasonable guy. If the storage unit was anywhere near my home, I would have gone out myself and rearranged her unit for her but I felt that she was not being very fair to me, expecting me to pay another moving company to rearrange her unit when she failed to tell my men or her sister how her unit should be loaded.

They were punctual, pleasant, and good workers who finessed the narrow width of my front door (and the refrig doors) to enable everything to happen smoothly and well. Working by the hour, they got to my mom's and back to my house before I did in that big truck (really too big for the job, but they didn't know the extent of it until they arrived). I don't know how the cost compares with other movers, as I just went with their estimate at $128/hour, but it seems about right given that I moved 6 months ago.
Description of Work: Millennium brought a large refrigerator and stove from my basement and removed a small refrig from my kitchen, replacing it with the large model. Then they drove 45 minutes to my mom's to pick up steel work benches, and then to a tile company to pick up boxes of tile, and delivered these all back to my house, installing the work benches.

It went wonderful and at a fare price. The movers arrived on time and then proceeded with a quick and timely move of our belonging. They were great and very professional. They were careful to shrinkwrap the necessary pieces. They also wrapped all mirrors, tv's and other breakables. The move only took 5 hours. It was great. They move our furnishings into storage for 1 month. Then they reveresed the process and moved us out of storage and into our new home without incident. It was as painless as a move can be. They did a great job and I would definitely recommend using them for anyone moving.

I was provided with an estimate a month ahead of time based on the owner's personal visit to my home. Although I was doing my own packing, he provided plenty of appropriate boxes at no extra cost - and promptly brought more when needed. The day of the move (8/25), 2 men loaded the contents of my home into the truck within a few hours. They appeared to handle everything carefully. I chose this company because they do the entire job themselves, rather than subcontracting the long distance haul to one of the larger companies. Because of this, only my furniture was in the truck and it was scheduled for delivery in Ocala the next day. They were more than prompt, arriving at the home in Ocala at 4pm on the 26th of August - unfortunately, I was not able to arrive until an hour later and the temperatures were in the 90's. I was surprised to find that the lone driver was also alone with the unloading job, which was formidable for one person. My son was with me and he was able to help with the process. Nonetheless, I felt that it would have been helpful (humane) to engage a 2nd person for the unloading. My belongings arrived in excellent condition - there was very minimal damage to a few items, none of it of great concern and none involving the antiques or valuable furniture pieces. The price was exactly as quoted. The staff members I encountered were all courteous, appropriately professional and skilled in their positions. I would highly recommend this company, particularly for a long distance move when one does not wish to wait a week or more for delivery.

Everything went very well. Important points included punctuality- completely as promised from the estimate to the packing/move out to the move in the next day. For both move out and move in the crew were very accommodating, respectful and pleasant. They took great care of our stuff, including fine furniture, glass/mirror, plasma TV and other fragile items. Everything arrived intact and without any damage. It was great not having to deal with our stuff going on a tractor trailer with several other families and not knowing when it would be delivered. Millennium delivered the next morning. Tony and his crew were a pleasure to work with.

My real estate agent had recommended Millennium based on one of her previous client's rave reviews. I contacted them, which took me a few days to actually get a human being on the phone. Despite this, when I did make contact, they were happy to send an estimator out to estimate the cost of my move. They were able to accommodate me on a Saturday morning which was extremely convenient for me. The price quoted was considerably less than what another mover had quoted me and they were more than willing to store my stuff on the truck overnight at their secure facility for $300 extra, a far cry from the $1000 another competitor had quoted me. Prior to moving day, Cathy the manager called me and made sure I was sane and assured me that they'd be at my house at 7 AM to pick up my stuff. We had the new owners scheduled to walk-through at 11:30 and we needed to be out by then and at the closing table at 12:30. The men showed up roughly 30 minutes late and there were more of them than originally quoted. I was admittedly nervous, because I figured more bodies = more $$$. That ended up not being the case, as I will get to that later. Once the men arrived, they came though the house very quickly and assessed everything, making sure they knew what they were moving. Lenny, the gentleman who made the estimate, led the crew. The movers emptied the house just in the nick of time. It took longer than expected; the last pieces went out the front door as the new owners were coming in the back for the walk-through. Phew! Off went the truck with most of our worldly possessions. The next morning at the agreed upon hour of 8AM, the truck with our stuff on it showed up at our new house punctually. My wife and I directed traffic as necessary and stayed out of the way. The movers had the beds assembled, the furniture in place and the truck fully unloaded in good time. I nervously awaited the bill, knowing full well that they took longer than estimated, and they had decided to charge me only what was the estimated cost, so that there were no surprises! I was thrilled!!! Off they went and we began to assemble our new home. The following day, the Verizon guy shows up to hook up our fiber service. He hooks up the 37" 5-year old flatscreen and powers it up. Lines. The TV had shifted during the move, despite being thoroughly padded and managed to take a hit in the upper right corner of the screen, causing the screen to crack through. It was impossible to tell that the screen was busted with the naked eye, you had to either turn the TV on or walk right up to it and examine it right at the spot where the bulls-eye was to see it. I was annoyed, but I figured I'd call the movers in hopes that they'd make good on it. I contacted the company and got Tony, the owner on the phone right away. I explained the situation to him and told him I wasn't expecting him to give me what the TV cost me when I bought it, that I would only expect it to be replaced in kind. We agreed I'd go find prices on the TV and get back to him. When I did get back to Tony, we discussed the cost and he agreed to cover the cost of replacing the TV and agreed to write me a check for $300. Two days later, the check shows up, and I was a happy guy. So overall the move went very well, and when it came down to the bottom line, these guys stood by their estimate and made good on a busted TV. The price was quite good for the services performed and despite the TV, nothing else broke! I really hope I don't have to move again for at least 20 years. Moving sucks. However, if I do, I'm calling Millennium first, and I'm moving them to the top of my list of movers I'd recommend to others. They did a great job and they clearly care very deeply about not screwing over their customers, which is huge and in short supply today.

Tony and his team were amazing. They were on time, courteous, and efficient. We had a a problem with our closing date last minute, and Tony held our belongings on his truck for an extra day with no charge and he rescheduled our delivery super fast. He really made every effort to accommodate us while we were "homeless". He went above and beyond to help us out during an extremely stressful 48 hours! I highly recommend this company.

I selected this company based on goos reviews, the price and the professionalism of this firm. The estimate was spot on, the team took great care with my possessions, nothing was broken, dented or scratched. They were personable, polite and very efficient. I never expected this move to go so smoothly. I would recommend this company to friends and family.
