I selected this service provider based on Angie's list reviews. I called for an appointment - spoke to a very nice lady and she scheduled the appointment 2 weeks out. An information packet was sent to my home in advance of the appointment and included a published book about BQ Basement Systems waterproofing system - I found it to be very educational and informative. The day before the appointment, they confirmed the appointment via e-mail. "Al" came to our house to provide an estimate - he was an elderly gentleman and seemed to be knowledgeable. I have a finished basement and had noticed a wet spot recently during heavy rains and so I wanted an expert opinion of "hidden" problems. I asked Al to check and he confirmed there was no water build up issue behind the sheetrock and he did not smell anything unusual. Al told me that it would cost approx $16,000 to install the waterproofing system for our 1,400 sq ft basement. I told him that as we don't have a water problem, we would not be needing the waterproofing system - Al took that in stride and did not try to push the sale. My wet spot was likely caused by water from gutter downspout not draining away from property - the 'extension' drain pipe had disconnected from downspout. I was very pleased with comprehensive solution offered by this company and should I see water leakage issues in future, I would strongly consider this company. Notes: My 'C' (Fair) rating for the price is meant to be neutral as I had not price shopped / gotten quotes from other providers. For 'punctuality', I provided a rating of 'B' instead of 'A' because Al was late due to GPS/Navigation system issue - he went to the neighboring town and could not reach me on my cell phone which was on the charger :) The lateness was not an issue for me as it gave me a chance to finish up some chores that I was doing.

The sales presentation was good & they didn't find any problems. They were supposed to replace the water hoses for my washer but they couldn't complete the job - the faucet was drafted to the pipe.

Great. It was fine. One wall had already been done by a horrible company a few years ago. We still had water and so we had to do the other three walls. BQ did all 3 walls and guaranteed the full perimeter, which is good. So we won't have any water. I am happy I had this done, and am happy with this company.

Today was day 1 and they guys they sent out were on time and very nice. These guys worked non-stop today. They started by covering EVERYTHING with plastic so the dust didn't go every where and they protected our belongings. Next they dug out the trenches which they said took longer than normal because the concrete was so thick. They put the trie safe sump pump in and before they left the cleaned the basement of EVERYTHING! Tomorrow is day 2 an they said the work will be completed. They also provided a waste management dumpster bag and called wast management to come get it. When this project is done we will have BQ BASEMENT SYSTEMS water guards and ports, trench drains, triple safe sump pump with a battery backup, ice guard so we don't have to worry about water freezing an causing problems later, piping under ground with lawn scape so no tripping or running over anything with the lawn mower, clean space wall system, sanidry system and a waterless basement that we can enjoy with our family. Not only am I excited about our basement but I'm happy we went along with BQ BASEMENT because their customer service and team is Great! I love good customer service especially when I'm spending my money!!!!

They had good quality of work, and quality of product and had good customer service.

They were very good. They replaced the windows without any problems. They did exactly what they said they would do and it worked out real well. They were prompt and worked in a professional way. They went above their work and cleaned up after themselves quite well. Everybody thinks that whatever they buy is priced a little high but I think they are fair.

we had tried to \fix this problem ourself many times...had "friends" help as well. We spent so much trying to save money and shoudl have called this company first thing and avoided the blood sweat and tears as we tried to do it ourself. THis is an exceptional company, prompt, profressional and reasonable

French drain system ripped out and put in their system with their sump pump. After 4 weeks, they had to rip out their system and redo because it was defective. They didn't use enough incline. Then, 3 weeks later, they ripped out another portion that wasn't working and added a second separate sump pump. This work is still not completed.

Very informational and the meeting went very well. A little expensive compared to another waterproofing company but overall very good.

We obtained four estimates before proceeding with the waterproofing. Checked Angie's list and inquired to neighbors regarding various venders they had used. The provider was on time, confirmed appointments, and returned calls promptly. They answered questions while on the job, modified the materials to maneuver in some very tight spots, and cleaned up well. We were pleased that there was no "hard sell" or negotiating for things we truly did not need. They even reused our pump which we had recently purchased rather than insisting that we buy a new one from them. Very satisfied with their service.

The service was excellent overall. They were fast, thorough, knowledgeable, and professional.

Here is how good Dennis was from BQ basements... I had horrible water problems from a leak in my wash basin, to a new leak in my water main. Dennis gave me a Plumber that I just reviewed on Angies list name Brian Stuckert Plumbing. He told me to say that He vouched for me as a friend. They came out today and fixed all of my problems at a cost of $243. I was so pleased with the service that I cant put into words. BQ basements went above and beyond. I will give a further update when all the work is completed. My Price may seem high, but what I will get is worth it in my view. Demolish and take out all Moldy walls Cleanspace treatment for all walls Full Waterguard system with triple safe sump pump. (It gets great reviews) Remove moldy carpet, Sanidry Dehumidification for basement and it will actually cover my entire house. (My home is not big) A brightwell window an Egress window 4 or 5 feet tall including window. Beautiful Millcreek Wood like flooring I am very excited to get this work done and have complete faith in BQ basements of Erdenheim Pa .

Prompt,professional agent. Knowledge of conditions and causes was good. I felt the required repair was more than I needed. Estimate was more than I expected. Decided not to have repairs performed at this time.

The sales representative was amicable and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions, either via the phone or email. The crew arrived on time, laid down tar paper to protect my kitchen floor, and sealed the access to the basement with a plastic curtain. In two days they installed all of the above. They removed large tree roots that were the cause of the buckling basement floor. There was no dust, probably due to the fact that the original cement floor was very thin. Two representatives from the head office appeared the morning of the first day check in with me and the work crew. The next day, when the work was finished, the crew leader asked for my check. I thought that for the money I was paying that someone from the office staff should have come to do the final inspection, not the crew leader who was part of the work team. I withheld my check for two days until a representative from the head office was able to arrive to do the inspection. This is the reason for the grade of "B" for professionalism.

I was impressed with their presentation. The guy who came out was very knowledgeable. They got the problem fixed up nicely.

The first day out they painted the walls. There was little preparation (hole were left unfilled and old mortar lump were not cleaned.)But it did look much better than before.They also jack hammered and excavated for the water guard. Later in the week they installed the flo and water guard improperly.The cement work was terrible.After this was pointed out, the forman was very willing to jackhammer out the cement and re-install new flo-Guard properly.The job was much improved and more even, but was still sloppy around the edges and has to be ground smooth.They also spilled cement on my brand new driveway, leaving it permanently stained. Over all a very unprofessional job.

From the time Dennis came we were impressed with his courteous and professional manner. The job was completed in 1 day.

Overall the communication between us and BQ-Basements was great. The experience was very possitive. The service was reasonably priced, and most importantly our basement is now dry.
