Description of Work: We called another company, High End Appliance, to come and fix a wine fridge. They were listed as an authorized Danby repair depot. They sent this company out...but, never told us it was a different company. They took our unit and check for $250 back on 11/25/2013. I contacted them a month later to arrange a delivery date for them to bring it back...no show. Then they stopped answering their phone or returning phone calls. When I was able reach them, they would reschedule and no show...this happened 4 times. I have filed a bbb complaint and am considering contacting the police. Note...they are somehow connected with High End Appliance Repair in Lansdale.

The experience was HORRIBLE and is still unresolved (1 year and 3 months later). I called Ed to tell him that the dryer started working again and that we didn't need the motor any longer. Asked that he place refund my $399.00 dollars minus his service/visit fee. To this day we have not been refunded any money. We have made a dozen calls and no resolution. Ed hides behind the 877#, acts like he doesn't know what's going on and claims that the person that does the refunds is either on vacation or "She sends the refunds out at the end of the month". As mentioned, its been 1 year and 3 months, and no refund, no returned calls, no motor and no sign of this criminal company that hides behind their PO Box and 877#. Please note, we will continue to attempt to recover our money via the Small Claims Court and/or the Pa. Attorney General's office who is responsible for contractors licenses. I only hope this feedback prevents someone else from being a victim of Fraud.
Description of Work: Called to perform an electric Dryer repair. For the initial visit, Ed showed up the day after the promised date (should have known from this), was in my house or 10 minutes, told us we needed the motor replaced. Paid him in full, up front and the motor has NEVER been replaced. The next day the Dryer started working again and we have not had a problem since.

It went great. They came and checked to see if it was repairable. The service call is credited towards the repair. They will ask you for the serial number of your appliance and they can order the parts.

We called and asked A&A for our money back. Since they had replaced some of the parts we did settle on a lesser amount in a refund but that was 6 months ago and we're still awaiting our promised refund. I call them all the time to follow up and have been consistently for the past month. They have new excuses every day, always a different excuse and then even promised last week that the "check was in the mail". Still nothing. I do not recommend this company for service of anykind except for answering their phone. They just don't know what to say after they do. UPDATE: I called the company on Monday, the day I filed the report, and had the check I had been waiting for on Tuesday.
Description of Work: When ever you call them they answer immediately which is a plus. They were always on time. However.... they've been here 7 times and they cannot fix my dishwasher. We paid for the service up front which was about $300. We finally got fed up and called someone else who came out, fixed the problem in 10 minutes, charge us only $170 and indicated it was just in need of a small thing. This company, A&A had tried all kinds of part replacements that didn't work.
