Fantastic, wonderful! I can't say enough about how great they were. Adam came, really listened, assessed my needs, and gave me many options for windows and financing. The finance company was easy to work with and quick to give an answer. Tim, who measured the job was so nice and efficient. At one point I had to call on a Sunday afternoon to reschedule, he couldn't have been more accomodating about it. The installers were amazing!Jay, Joe, Randy,Riley were terrific. I would use them again in heartbeat, they really made me feel good about my purchase, and choices. They were efficient, thorough, utterly professional and polite. It's true, you do get what you pay for. I was a little sticker shocked when I made the intial purchase, but after the installation, I realize that I did get the best, and my house looks better than it has it years. I would buy from them and install with this company again anytime with complete confidence.

From start to finish, this project was outstanding. Sean was extremely helpful during his initial visit. The installation crew (Jay, Joe, Randy, Riley and later Kevin) were incredible. They arrived on time; finished early; kept the house spotless, were courteous and friendly; explained all window features. Jeff, the recommended go to guy for staining, also did a marvelous job. He worked seamlessly with the Renewal by Andersen team. One of my initial screens did not fit well and Anderson immediately ordered a replacement which arrived when promised. I needed a new window frame built for the kitchen window (an issue not caused by Andersen). This was done as promised and looks beautiful as do all of my windows. I could not be happier and will recommend Renewal by Andersen to anyone.

Today 4 very polite, professional young men, Jay, Joe, Randy and Riley installed 11 double hung windows and 1 sliding glass door as replacement of 39 year old windows in our home. From talking with Renewal by Andersen at the Pittsburgh Home Show, to Adam, the very knowledgable salesman who visited our home, the measurements and then today the installation it has been a pleasure to deal with this company and their employees and installers. Renewal by Andersen was the first company that we had come to discuss their windows and give us a price. We anticipated interviewing additional window companies, but after listening to the details of their product, we felt confident that this was the best replacement window for our home. There may have been some cheaper priced windows on the market, but we feel the quality of this product speaks for itself.

Robbie's crew was very professional and provided excellent care and service" They found a problem with the measurement of the bathroom window, which they did not have to tell me; but he did and he called the manager to let him know. The manager came to the house and had the window remeasured. The crew did a great job with installing the window as it was%3 without knowing there is a problem With the measurements. They were actually horrible though we love our doors. It took them almost 2 years to replace them. I have a double door so they brought one door and they brought a colored door then they brought 2 colored doors. The glasses in the windows were off set so they had to take them back and bring new ones. The screen doors and the storm doors were the same thing. I am not being smart, but they are actually junk. They are actually broken. I have called Andersen Windows about that and it's probably about 5 months now and I'm still waiting for them to call me back. I'm going to get somebody else to replace them. We love the doors. It's just that it took forever to get them to do it. It's sad because they started off good and then it was week after week, after week, it was just constant. I thought the price was decent. I'm less than 10 minutes away from Monroeville. They should be able to get here today or tomorrow, or maybe next week, not 2 or 3 months later. I had surgery so I was home everyday. I would have canceled the job if I was working because they never came on time and they never came when they were supposed to. The guys were nice. I don't think it was their problem. I think it was the inside people that would tell them not to go here or there or they don't have the part. I don't think it was the actual installer.

Wonderful experience! From the beginning in getting an appointment with Chaz to the "after' installation, the process was flawless! Chaz provided a lot of information during the sales consultation--he followed up several times after that, even phoning during the installation process from a business trip to Minnesota! Showed me that he was interested in my experience to the end! The appointment for the final measurements ( I think his name was John) was also wonderful! He was very nice, very professional, and you could tell he wanted the installation to go well, too. I talked with the people in the office a few times for appointments, etc., and they were all helpful and courteous. The installation crew, Jay, Joe, and Randy could not have been any better. They were really the best crew I ever had working in my home. They were friendly, professional, great at their jobs, and the work was perfect! It was a cold, snowy day and my house stayed clean and warm. The clean up was done well, too, outside and inside! They even told me that after the snow had melted to let them know if there was any other clean up to do that had been buried in the snow. I did not see much of anything. But, a few weeks later, Joe called to tell me they were working on another job behind my home and decided to check around my house to see if it needed any further clean up. He saw some things and cleaned it all up! I was amazed at that follow up! They really were the best! Great experience all the way through and I highly recommend the company and this crew!

They did pretty good. It was probably about seven thousand dollars.

It was excellent. They were very good. They cleaned up after themselves. They got it done really fast. Everything was done properly. If they messed anything up, they fixed it for us.

We replaced two storm doors with high quality aluminum doors of the ProVia line. The doors themselves are heavy duty and solid and provide at least as much security as the inner doors they protect. The sales reps and installation people all new their jobs extremely well and were able to accommodate all our concerns and needs and behaved professionally in a all respects. Adjustments were made to accommodate the specifics of our door frames and thus insuring a good seal from the outside. Comparing costs with other providers, this provider seemed a bit expensive. However, given the high quality of the product and work, and spreading the costs over the expected long years of service (excellent warranty), the price difference was not a deterrent. All in all, we are very satisfied with the result and would recommend doing business with them and would do so again ourselves.

We have a finished porch area that extends the back of our house. The back wall of the extended area is a short brick wall (2 feet high) topped with two windows and sliding doors - all wood framing. The seals on the door were leaking and the door alignment was becoming a problem. We decided to replace the doors and because of the existing construction, it was necessary to replace the windows on the back wall as well. The remaining 3 walls of the extended area were of the same construction - a short brick wall topped with wooden framed windows. The sales rep and installation crew knew their jobs very well and acted professionally in all respects. The quality of the product and installation is excellent and matches the remaining walls as though they were installed together. The installation crew performed custom work using (and making) similar molding with wood grain matching the window framing of the remaining walls. Although the installation did not include finishing the wood, the installation crew recommended another craftsmen to perform the finishing. We took their recommendation and called Jeff Markham to perform the finishing. Jeff matched the finish to the existing walls exactly. It has been 10 months since the installation and the windows and doors still look and feel like the day they were installed. We now have a well insulated, draft free extended area with a great finish. The cost of the work seemed a bit expensive, but given the quality of the final product, the excellent craftsmanship and the long expected lifetime of the product, the cost was worth the excellent result.

3 guys showed up on time and was very polite. They got right to work taking windows out and getting the new ones in. The bay was the most work because they had to take 3 windows out and the wood connecting them. they laid plastic on the floors and hung some by the big window to help keep the dirt down and some of the cold out. when it was time to put the wood work around the bay window they fixed it to match the rest of the room. i couldn't be happier with renewal by Andersen.

The workers were great. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. I was happy with them.

The had 10 windows in the sunroom, 8 in the back and 2 on the side. The 8 windows in the back were made into 4 picture windows, and the 2 side ones were replaced. The outside was also redone to match the house. The windows were a step higher than triple paned. The employees were professional from start to finish. The work was performed meticulously. They cleaned, and explained everything. The windows are beautiful.

I'd like to start out by saying that this rating is not a reflection of the actual product or install, as I did not pick Renewal to replace my windows. My rating is based solely on the initial sales process and how the windows appeared. Ryan from Renewal by Andersen did a great job reviewing all of the window options and did not overwhelm me with a sales pitch. This was the 6-7th window installer I had met with and I was upfront and honest with him regarding the fact that I knew exactly what I wanted and did not want the full blowtorch glass demonstration that most companies do. Ryan completely understood and was not pushy. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and did not try any of the typical sales tactics. After reviewing all of the options, I was presented with a quote for 10 double hung windows, 1 picture window and 1 awning window. All of the windows were quoted as Fibrex frames with wood veneer, which is Andersen's 100 series. They look fantastic but as I mentioned I cannot judge the performance. Where Renewal completely lost me was on price. Unlike a lot of the other quotes I received, their warranty included labor, which I thought was good considering labor is a large portion of the cost, but when I say their price was high, it is an understatement. As I mentioned, I had received several quotes and they ranged from cheap vinyl at $6,000 to all wood Pella Proline and Andersen 400 series windows at $12,000. So I expected their quote to be in that range, maybe a little higher because of the warranty. The initial price I was presented with was $28,000. With volume and promotional discounts the final price was $20,000. I was also presented with the option of signing now and receiving an additional 5% off. As you can imagine that was the end of the conversation. The bottom line is that I believe you will be grossly overpaying for these windows. If you don't want vinyl windows and want them to look nice, then I would go with all wood Pella Proline or Andersen 400 series. I even received a quote for wood veneer Fiberglass Marvin windows that looked great for significantly less. Obviously, people are using Renewal or they would be out of business, but I find it very hard to justify their prices. I'm sure they are good windows, but there are lots of options that are rated better at a significantly lower cost.

It went really well. The sitting was excellent. The framework was also great.

Excellent! I liked the product and the way the were professional. They cleaned up after themselves and I did not have to clean anything. They cost me a lot of money. They are always expensive.

The service was fine. I had no complaints. The installation was really professional.

Contacted Renewal last week to schedule an appointment for the 20th. Was told that they did not book out that far, so she would call me back. Received call today and was told that I needed to have the other homeowner, my spouse, available for the meeting. That is difficult with parents who work alternating shifts. As such, I was then told that many time slots were already filled on the 20th. Even though they couldn't schedule me for last week. It is a shame. I currently have 19 original Andersen windows in my home, that we bought last year. Was thinking about replacing all of them. Thought Andersen would be my top choice, but based on this experience, I will now have to go with another provider who wants my business. While it was the corporate scheduling office that contacted me and not this specific local provider, I am placing my review here as it would have been them to visit our home. They need to be aware of how the rep handled my call. I don't write many reviews, but had to write this one.

At first I was a little nervous that this work was going to be done in February, and as it has turned out the coldest weather of the winter. But I can't say enough great things about the installation. I thought I was going to be cold so I was bundled in long underwear and big sweatshirt and jeans, but I was actually sweating the first day when they put the windows in upstairs. They were so efficient in getting a window out and another in and kept the bedroom doors closed. Down stairs (where there are no doors to close) it was not bad either. Now the workers were really cold but they did everything they could to protect my home and make sure I was comfortable. They were very professional and kind and courteous never stopped working all the time they were here. They also were the neatest workers I have ever had. They put plastic runners and drop cloths all through the house and up my stairs and cleaned up after so good you would never know there was anyone doing that kind of work in my house. There are not enough positive adjectives to describe how happy my husband and I are with our new windows and door. And not just with the installation. From the salesman who came to our house, to the men who came and took the measurements, and the people I talked to from the office to set things up we are so appreciative of there professionalism and kindness. I would never get replacement windows any where else.

I was getting several bids. I decided not to use the deal because their windows cost several thousands of dollars.

From start to finish, the job was done professionally, with courtesy, kindness and consideration for us. They were fantastic. The salesman was informative, office staff nice, and pre-installation inspector informative. A crew of four replaced a window weighing approx. 1400 lbs. on the coldest day of the year. And they were happy and nice about it. They were fantastic!

The reason we did not go with Anderson was due to the limited options available and the price. The salesman was more than capable.

I called per their request and explained the situation. I have a leak when it rains, but as we discussed the situation and it became apparent that the problem was not the window. They were extremely helpful and considerate.

Professionalism and service were outstanding. Would definitely recommend this company to any one. Arrived on time. Worked all day and the clean up was excellent.

It was very expensive. When they came, they show you one window and they pressure you into an order. It's a self-tactic that they use and the next thing they send out the man who shows your woodwork, you pick your own woodwork and the style that you want. The man that came here insisted that my window sit in latch to top and bottom and he said I should go with three panes instead of the four panes that I originally had. When he pulled out the wood, it showed three little tiny blocks of wood. I went to pick up one of the blocks to just look at the grain through it and he grabbed it right out of my hand. He didn't want me to look at the trim. I have a bi-level home and I have 15 windows and they ripped everything out as soon as they came and I'm "Oh God I hope it doesn't rain." They replaced the windows and after they left, I looked at this wide trim and it was the last thing I wanted on my windows. It looked fairly decent, I mean the quality of the wood, thank God for that, but the windows, for regular windows, something was wrong. My windows looked so tiny. It was because of the three panes. I did need the four panes so I called the company and they were very nice about it. They came out and they actually replaced all the windows in my house again for free. That much, I'm grateful for. As far as the window quality, they are good windows. I looked at other replacement windows and their designs were horrible. They look cheap. I wanted something that I didn't want to cut the window size. They came the closest out of any brand I think that would give you the actual size of your own window. For the quality of the windows, it's an A plus.
