Paul Steimer Roofing

Got a great price for a new roof installed last October. Took 3 to 44 days (small house). Needed wood replaced in some sections. Workers knew their job. Would recommend Mr. Steimer's company.

It was tough to get a hold of people at the office; slightly better when I got Paul's contact info directly. Paul was very helpful as he brought several shingle samples for us to review and provided addresses of other homes to check for references. The job lasted three days and went smoothly. No complaints. The roof looks great.

Excellent experience. Paul and his team were on time and managed the job in a day and a half. They also worked to try and track down the source of a leak that appeared to be roof/gutter related. He made some minor repairs to our gutters as a result.

First they spent a total of 30 - 45 minutes inspection my roof. There truck backing up went on to my front step destroying my clay tiles on the step. I didn't discover this until an hour after they left. I paid a tile mane 250.00 to repair it. I know if I called to complain it would be contested..

The job was done so well. Paul was so kind, professional and honest when he came to my house to do the estimate. I had several other estimates done and he was the only one who told me that I didn't need new gutters. Nobody else mentioned a word about my wanting new gutters. I also needed some work done on part of my downspout in my backyard, which Paul said he could do. The morning of the roof replacement, the crew of arrived around 8 AM, went to work (on a very hot and muggy day) and kept at the job until it was completed around 4 PM. Paul's son headed the team, who worked well and efficiently together. When everything was done and Paul's son and I walked around my home for a final inspection, I saw that everything was clean and nothing was left on the ground. He explained that they not only cleaned up all the shingle pieces, but they also used a magnet to pick up any metal that might not have made it to the tarp. The outside was just immaculate! As it turned out, my sister-in-law and niece also had Paul's company put on their roofs. We all have nothing but praise for the work that was done!

Paul and his crew were great! They replaced our roof in 2 days. They were courteous, professional and prompt.

When I purchased the service (roof inspection), it was stated that the contractor would contact me within 48 hours (I think but not more than a couple days). I had to call a few times (over a week or so) before I was finally contacted to set up an appointment. The technician that showed up was very nice and respectful, answered all my questions, took measurements of some additional work I need done. He said that the owner would contact me to provide an estimate for the work. A few weeks later I got an estimate for only a small portion of the work. I tried calling and emailing but I never heard from them again to get an estimate for all the work I need done. I wanted to get the work done before winter because the area of my garage was exposed to the elements. I realize that what I need done is not major money but I still deserve respect. I also work for a living and have a busy schedule (so I don't consider that a valid excuse), but if someone calls or emails me, I give them the respect of responding; even if the answer is no. The ONLY reason my rating was so high is because of the technician. If this was based on the owner, the rating would be much, much lower.

They patched some holes during one visit, but that apparently did not do the job because we still had leaking after the next rain. I called them to notify them and they showed up same day and repaired some extra holes that they found, which I really appreciated. Since then there have been no leaks.

I was told the crew would be here Tuesday and they showed up Monday a day early. The cost of the repair came well below the estimated price and I was extremely happy for that. Service! Courteous crew!

The workmen were super nice and eager to do a thorough repair. They even fixed a damaged drain spout while working on the roof and also repaired another area that we had not even noticed. I would absolutely recommend Paul Steimer Co.

Very well after we finally got a return call

Communication was horrible; bad response time w/regard to questions; good response time when it was time to pay; already had two workmanship problems w/in 5 months after completion of work. This last workmanship problem--wrapped aluminum on box gutter was blown off in high wind and about 3'ft is hanging precariously and a trim piece has already broken off; not only that the 3'ft aluminum bangs against the house and makes quite a bit of racket. After 3 phone calls asking when this could be taken care of, I still haven't heard back. Next communique will be from a magistrate--I'm out of patience w/the arrogance.

The new gutters are great. They match the house much nicer and perform much better than my old system. They also installed a diverter to take care of a previous problem of water shooting over the old gutters. We are having other work done in the back of our house so I plan to have them back to replace the gutters once that work is done.

He did a good job! He worked quick and replaced a piece of facia. They were very responsive. We would most likely use them again if needed.

After initial call a week ago saying he would come out in a day or two, he never called back and did not return my two additional calls or text message. He never got back to me. I hired someone else.

Daryl came out and looked at the porch, took pictures and said they could do what I wanted. We set up a date in September (9/9). He never sent a quote. He did finally call in September to say they couldn't make the first date so we agreed to move it to October. Once again, they never sent a quote. They never returned any of my phone calls and never showed up to do the work.

We went with someone else, but his price was competitive.

Very good. Installation took about 2 hrs floor a crew of two.

It didn't. Angie's list refunded me the money for the service as it was never done.

It was just fine. It was a few days later, maybe a week later. They did extra work. They were good.

Overall everything went well. They came by and made some initial repairs to holes in shingles. However, after the first rain following those repairs, water still leaked in. I reported this to them and they showed up the same day and made more repairs. Since then we have not had any problems.

Arrived on time and addressed areas I said I was having leaks at. They sealed the leaks, well at least it hasn't leaked since then. Satisfied.
