He was fine to work with. He came out quickly to my home. He showed me pictures of the roof. I have no complaints.

Very quick and professional service. It only took two days to have the work completed from the time I ordered it via Angie's List. The company was very helpful and courteous when I had follow-up questions about the roof inspection. Easiest home improvement/maintenance experience I've ever had.

Showed up early, worked late and on the weekend. They completely cleaned up after themselves, were polite AND the estimate was the exact price I paid at the end. Can't say enough good things about them!

Paul was very responsive in communicating and his team showed up when they said they would. They replaced two shingles and performed some other services on our roof of which I was not even aware. They were expedient, friendly and communicative. Great job! We will definitely be calling them in the future for any roofing needs.

This company exceeded my expectations from beginning to end. From the promptness of contacting me as soon as I placed my order for the Angie's list Deal-to the personal, professional and punctual installers- to the courteous follow up call to ensure a job well done. All of this in a matter of days from start to finish. I cannot rave enough about how I was treated as well as how satisfied I am with my new gutters and downspouts. You can tell this company cares about what their customers need. I will always recommend this company first to my family and friends.

Dale called me by the second business day, fixed everything that was discussed, cleaned up when the job was completed. I was at work when the roofing crew did the job, but Dale also kept in constant contact before arriving at the house, once he arrrived and called after the job was completed. Great job!!

I contacted Paul through a Big Deal for a roof inspection, and asked him to check for any damage from the winter, to tell me how much longer the roof had left on it, and to give me an estimate for the cost to replace it. Paul arrived within the window he gave me, spoke to me to ascertain my concerns, did the inspection, and came back with several different options for replacing the roof. Throughout our interaction, Paul was professional, listened to my questions carefully and answered them thoroughly. I liked that he provided me with more than one option for replacing the roof and priced them out separately; he also provided me with written information on my options. I'm not replacing the roof now, but I intend to call him when I do.

I signed up for the roof tune-up and I couldn't be more pleased. They came out the same week, did a very thorough inspection and fixed all the little things that needed to be done right away! It puts my mind at ease to know a professional looked over our roof and was able to correct the little things before they turned into big problems. Plus we now have a general idea of when we'll need a new roof, so we can budget for it. We will definitely use them in the future when we need to replace our roof in a few years. Just to sum up... Paul Steimer Roofing is awesome :)

We ended up getting a better deal from another service provider so we have requested a refund of the Big Deal purchase from Angie's List.

I purchase the angies deal. It took about one week for Paul to get in touch with me. After that, it was smooth sailing. He diagnosed what the source of the roof leak was in his opinion and the next week sent out men to replace the covers surrounding two vent chimneys protruding from the roof. I hope that solves the problem and will keep you posted.

Once I took initiative and called the contractor his response was quick and the work timely. The fix appears from the ground to be good. Only downside was the contractor did not respond thru the channels set up by Angie's list, not to an email they sent to him. When I called direct, they responded in short order.

Paul Steimer called but i had hired someone else

Paul looked out for our financial welfare. For example, he suggested possible insurance reimbursement for roof hail damage he could see. He also brought up white shingles which save on energy costs. I chose the white shingles, and they were more trouble for him to obtain. His crew was professional and very helpful. They alerted us to a roof dryer vent problem. They even got my grandson's Frisbee off a neighbor's roof for me. They cleaned well each day.

I had previously hired someone to do the roof , gutters and down spouts in July. I even went as far as a down payment of $3500.00. the jerk I hired never showed up to do anything (nothing) and after contacting him(after 30 attempts) he said the money was gone and he would not be able to do the roof! well that is still in litigation! Of course my roof is still leaking. But then i turned to Angie's List, and I am glad I found Paul Steimer and Co. He showed up gave me an estimate which was very fair and he even separated each section with a price for me roof, gutters and downspouts. I told him about my situation with the other roofer and he was very understanding. He did fix the main roof and it was a beautiful job. They were on time and he has GREAT guys working for him. Clean up was wonderful too! I, planing to have him come back and finish the job as soon as I deal with this other Idiot. Thank You Mr. Steimer

Showed up very late, but was very friendly when he got there.

Paul came up to my house last summer after the hailstorm on July 4, 2012. He gave me a price for the damage on my roof however lucky for me he's been in business for so long and his experience and knowledge is vast that my siding that was damaged by the hailstorm was actually faded. The manufacturer of the siding had a recall on my siding, they never called me about this recall, because of the fading issue and also the brittleness of the siding itself. He saved me over $14,000 in siding and labor.

Paul was very good at getting back to us in a reasonable time. When we asked for samples, he provided them quickly. His crew worked very hard and it was easy to work with them.

Paul's crews did an outstanding job of installing a new roof and siding damaged in hailstorm last year. I filed claim and got insurance okay too late for work to be done in 2012, however, as soon as weather permitted, his crews were on the job. Work was completed in good fashion and cleanup was outstanding.

PAUL CALLED ME BACK THE SAME DAY AND MADE A PPT. FOR NEXT DAY . HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EXPLAINED IN DETAIL WHAT HE CAN DO . HE WROTE A ESTIMATE ON THE SITE . ONCE I GET SITUATED THIS COMPANY WOULD BE ONE OF FEW I WOULD CALL BACK

Called for a price estimate. Response to my call and visit to provide a quote was prompt. It took a while to get the replacement scheduled only because there were so many roofs to be repaired. They showed up at the scheduled time and completed the job in the time they had stated. The replacement process was orderly and clean. All old materials were cleaned up and hauled away. They met all my expectations.

I found Paul Steimer and company in the local Angie's List magazine after I had trouble getting another local contractor to return calls or to commit to work before time ran out on my insurance claim for a storm-damaged roof, necessitating a 6-month extension on my claim. My initial contact with the Steimer company was in late spring, approximately May 2012. Paul Steimer himself promptly returned my call of inquiry within the same week, and arranged to visit the property to prepare an estimate in advance of the potential contract within a week. After reviewing the estimate and checking the company's references online, I chose to move forward with the contract...accomplishing in two weeks what I had struggled with another contractor for more than a year prior. The Steimer crew completed the work over a three-day period in early July, during some of the hottest days of the year. Members of the crew were professional and friendly. Their work was high quality, and they wasted no time on site, starting at 7am and staying until 5pm, in blazing hot July. Before leaving, they made sure the gutters were free of any material from the roofing job, and they swept the entire yard's grass and driveway multiple times with a magnetic device to make sure there were no nails left behind. The roof looks beautiful on both the house (a complicated multi-level roof with steep pitches) and the shed as well, and most importantly, is leak-free and water tight! I highly recommend Paul Steimer Roofing. My effort originally was to hire locally, and as Steimer is based in Monroeville, I was able to do that after all.

I spoke with him on October 11, 2012, he said that he would call me back on the 12th to set up an appointment. He never called me back to set that appointment up.
