This process was really painless for us because Jason was so helpful in finding us materials that we were looking for. As soon as we explained what we wanted, he took it from there, yet kept us in the loop during the process. He did an amazing job, leaving our yard looking fantastic, despite needing to use lots of equipment (he re-seeded our lawn where it was affected by the equipment). It was really a great experience from start to finish. I would definitely hire him again.

Removed old crumbling and leaning walls (3) and disposed of the old blocks. Moved plants, dug earth to make more room for new walls and hauled it away. Took time to precisely level bottom levels of all walls. French drain, gravel backfill were installed behind the blocks. Versa-lok blocks (color as agreed on) installed, pinned , wall capped and glued. Graded with top soil to finish. Bill and Nick did a great job. They were always courteous, polite, pleasant & anxious to explain what they were doing and why. I would have no problem recommending this company. Jason Palat also kept in touch and understood what I needed and wanted.

His name is Jason Palat. THey are professional. They are very neat and they clean up everything when they trim. When I come home, I don't see any signs that they've been there.

Palat Landscaping is one of the finest contractors I've ever dealt with. Jason Palat showed up on time when giving his quote and was very professional. He had product literature and a Company brochure. He asked many questions so he was sure that he was quoting exactly what I wanted. When Bill and Nick arrived I was pleased that they were extremely hard working, friendly, courteous, and polite. (Mike came and helped for 2 days.) They went about replacing my old retaining wall with a beautiful Versa-Lok wall. The work was done meticulously and I know that this wall will be standing for years and years. They cleaned up the area every day and there was nothing left behind when the job was complete. I would recommend hiring this company for any of your landscape needs..

I completely trust Jason to do the best job for our overall property. He is very reliable and willing to help and work within your budget. Very excited to find out he now offers weekly grass cutting service in addition to the overall landscaping. We've had many people comment on how great our lawn and overall landscaping looked at our last home and looking forward to the same at our new place.

From start to finish everything went extremely well, even though the weather was not too cooperative. Jason was a very polite and lknowledgeable young man. He was very easy to talk to and answered and explained all my questions in details. His work crew was equally as polite and responsive to my questions. Jason seeded along the new wall so grass will grow there and I will be contracting him this fall to finish leveling and seeding the rest of my backyard.

Excellent. No issues. This is the third year that Jason had done work for us. We will be calling him again next year.

Jason's crew did a wonderful job. They installed the new doggie pad which is an astroturf material...my dog does her business on the carpet and it is wonderful as I can hose it down. I had it replaced after about 4-5 years. They also trimmed my shrubs around my townhouse, and placed new mulch. I have a small area , but they always make it look so nice! i have been using their services for about 5-6 years. Their pricing is competitive, but not unrealistic. I am always so very satisfied with their work.

I ended up not going with them. I ended up using a friend that had some free time and does landscaping work. He ended up doing the same job for a lot cheaper. They had a competitive price. Their timeliness was good.

they always come on the same day of the week which is nice but the work at times was sloppy--esp. the edging.

Jason provided me a quote for a 3ft high retaining wall that ran along about half of our driveway. (The only thing there at the time was an ugly slope covered in random groundcover and mulch, which would erode onto the driveway). His price was reasonable, and we decided to go with him. About a month later, he and a co-worker arrived at 8am and began work, which took about 2 1/2 days. I wasn't home for most of the time they were working, but when I did see them, they were very friendly and professional. The retaining wall looks great, and I would definately recommend Jason and his crew.

I love the landscaping now and can't wait to see everything in the spring/summer! I found Palat Landscaping on Angie?s List, went to their website and requested an estimate. Unlike many other landscapers I tried to contact, I received an email back from Jason within 24 hours. I found him to be so personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Communication with him throughout the entire project was wonderful. He was open to my suggestions and he met me at a local nursery so that he could see what types of plants that I liked. Jason and his crew did a great job! My neighbor told me she was impressed with how hard they worked, even one day in the rain. He also reseeded our lawn that was patchy due to a house project we had done last year and he even offered to take down our old mailbox and install the new one for us. I couldn't be happier with the results! We have one more project at the back of our property that I?ve already discussed with Jason. I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend Jason and Palat?s Landscaping.

Jason and his team were great to deal with--friendly and efficient. They removed an old retaining wall and replaced it with a beautiful wall that looks like it will hold up well. They also removed a concrete pad that took up most of the back yard and filled and planted the area. The grass was evident just three days later, incredibly, and now, just over a week has nearly filled in. Jason and his crew removed all the debris and left the yard looking neat. I hope to re-hire them next spring to build a fence.

After our initial conversation Jason came out to my property and gave me his opinion of what I wanted to accomplish and access the job. Within a week I think he gave me his estimate. which I have been told by my friends was a very good price. This was the first time I have had any landscaping & masonry work done so...I was in the dark of how much it might cost. I was put on the list of projects his crew showed up Aud.21 and completed my job in about 2 1/2 days. I have to say I am very pleased with the finished result. The men he had working for him were VERY nice and accommodating for the things I wanted and the things I changed my mind about since the initial bid on the job! All in all a great experience for me & my kids to have them here working on our yard...a pleasure to deal with. I would hire them again.

His prices were high, about double everyone else's.

How did it go? I WOULD HIRE JASON AGAIN IN A MINUTE! How's that for a review? I could go into all kind of details, but it comes down to this: I live on a budget, Jason respected that. He worked with me on what I wanted, even after I changed my mind a couple of times. He;removed an old crumbling wall that run down the entire side of my backyard and also held up a hillside. He built a wall using Keystone Block around my patio, then he leveled out the hillside, put a border around the entire hill and filled it in with river rocks. He used landscaping material,chicken wire ect.. It looks great. Even my neighbors love it! His price was good compared to other estimates and he gives you several ways of doing things, I liked that. He seems to really care about his client.

Fabulous!!!! With the recent weather we had been having, it was somewhat difficult to pinpoint a start date on this project. I would imagine everyone was pushed back with jobs as a result. However, once Jason and his crew started it went like 1, 2, 3. Everything was pretty much done the first day. Just bits and pieces remained the second day. Jason and his workers were great. Professionals all the way. I am so pleased with how my yard now looks. I even had a statue I wanted to place in the area and they provided what was needed. They cleaned up very well - you can't even tell work was done - no remnants of mulch or top soil left behind - just my beautiful yard. I was very impressed with Palat Landscaping and have all intentions of contacting Jason as soon as I am ready for him to attack my backyard. I am confident he will make me just as happy.

The walls and landscaping are quite beautiful. Our only advice would be to focus on the details of the project, and good communication, as there were some assumptions made on both sides that took a while to work out. In the end it was a great job and we are very satisfied.

I have used them twice in the last few years. This work was great overall. They do a great job. They work well with the customer. I was able to give feedback and pictures of images that I liked. They worked with what my tastes were.

They are very nice and professional. They are also punctual and do a good job.

Jason was easy to work with from the get go. He understood what I was trying to accomplish and was the only person I talked to who responded with a written estimate quickly. He came on the day we agreed to, communicated well. His guys were friendly and professional. When he couldn't finish in one day he left the back yard neat and came back on the next clear day to finish. It was a pleasure working with him.

They would be coming next week to do the work. They actually gave me a discount as an Angie's list subscriber. I thought that was really nice. The guy was very nice, helpful and informative. His pricing is very reasonable.

Jason is awesome! He showed up on time, gave me a variety of ideas on how to save money and still accomplish everything I wanted to do. His proposal was accepted. A few weeks later, Jason and his team showed up and within 2 days, I had a beautiful landscaped tier, that has bloomed each year, no more weeding!!! I would highly recommend Jason and his crew.

Our experience with Palat Landscaping Inc was quite pleasant. They were responsive. They came to do estimates and we agreed upon. They did the work. They did exactly what they told they will do. The quality of the bushes were as I expected so I did not have any surprises.
