Jim and his crew went above and beyond to make us happy when they removed a large pine tree and removed branches from another tree on our property. The crew worked quickly and professionally, and we were thrilled with their work. I highly recommend this business for anybody who is looking for tree work.

Jim and his crew showed up on time and got the job done in a professional manner. I was particularly impressed by how hard-working and efficient they are. I watched much of the process and not once did I see Jim or any of his crew slack on the job or do anything unsafe. When the job was finished, they did their best to clean everything up. I was left very impressed and will definitely call them for our next tree job.

Cathy from office scheduled this 3 weeks out. called the day before stating 7:30 am arrival. Crew arrived on time, six men with clean trucks and newer equipment. Crew was professional and did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it. Trees removed, stumps ground, were detail focused on clean up, even trimmed a remaining tree. I added one tree and they worked with me on the price. Would use without question or hesitation, would recommend highly!

They gave us an estimate, arrived on time, and worked like crazy! They were wonderful, very skilled, and watching them remove the trees was worth the price. What a show they put on, six men sawed, chopped, swung from tree to tree, removed all the debris, and ground down the stumps. I cannot say enough how pleased we were with Jungle Jim and his merry men.

The work went fantastic. The crew of about 8 guys and four trucks was here for a total of about 75 minutes. They did not damage anything, taking the trees down carefully. And they cleaned up the site really well. The only hang up we had during the entire experience was scheduling an estimate in the first place. These guys were less responsive and harder to get to come out for an estimate. My persistence paid off as they were significantly lower than the other providers I spoke with.

Did a fantastic job! Job was done quickly and he and his partner left the area clean of debris. I will use his services again for another part of our house in the future. Great price for the amount of work that needed to be done.

It looked great! When they were done, the place looked better than it did when they got there. They raked and cleaned everything up and loaded it into their truck when they were done. I was very satisfied.

Jim came promptly as scheduled with a crew of five. He climbed into the tree and cut branches while his workers roped the branches and cleaned up the debris. They did a fabulous job, and even stacked some of the wood so we could used it for our fireplace.

Showed up on the day they were to do the work. Did a fantastic job--cleaned up everything. I would use them again for sure. I have given their name to friends.

I had 3 estimates and Jungle Jim was considerably less than the other 2. Professional, punctual and friendly. Would definitely use them again.

The service went really well. They were very prompt. The quality of the work was excellent. My neighbor used them after that too.

Removal of two trees and stump grinding

Went very well. Team of guys removed the trees very safely and quickly.

They removed 3 large trees and their stumps located in close proximity to the house. They also removed 4 old stumps left previously by another provider. They did a very good job cleaning up the waste and restoring the ground where the stumps were removed. I would strongly recommend them.

Reasonable priced, excellent service, friendly receptionist. I used Jungle Jims tree service a few times and was never disappointed. The team was very quick and efficient.

Tree fell on my house on the 23rd of July 2013. I took half day off work on the 24th of July to contact Home Owners Insurance and check Angies List for Tree Removal Services. I contacted several Tree Removal Companys to get estimates. My neighbor across the street suggested using Jungle Jim because he was very satisfied with the service he received when he used Jungle Jim previously. I called Jungle Jim on the 24th of July and talked to Cathy. She told me they were very busy( and I understood that, since we've had heavy rains and windy conditions for the last few days) but Jim would try to stop and give me an estimate tomorrow, 25 July. He, in fact, did stop on the 25th and gave me an estimate of $700.00. I called Cathy on the 26th of July and told her to put me on the work order list. Cathy told me Jim may not be able to get to me for a few days because of the back-log of work. Since the tree was only laying on my roof and I could not detect any roof damage, I told Cathy I have no recourse but to wait my turn. Cathy called me on the 28th of July and told me Jim and his crew would be at my house tomorrow (29 July) between noon and 3pm. When I arrived home from work on the 29th Jungle Jim was 95% completed with my tree removal and cleanup. I looked the area over, was very satisfied with all aspects of the tree removal, paid Jim, shook his hand and thanked him for his great work.

I was surprised by the reasonable estimate... which was performed in my absence, and left on the front door. The and quot;winter discountand quot; shaved $500 of the usual price. The crew of about 5 or 6 guys arrived at the agreed time fully equipped, and without delay, they proceeded to take the tree down. The effort was a pleasure to watch because the guys all worked together very efficiently, and it was obvious the foreman, the one who climbed the tree and took down the limbs, was experienced, professional, and knew what he was doing. 45 minutes later, the crew had cleaned everything up, including the sawdust and other debris which they didn't generate. In the end, they agreed to take the cut tree to a neighbor friend for him to use in his furnace during the winter. The real kicker was when payment was due. I already had a check written out according to the amount provided in the estimate, but the foreman requested only $500... a $100 less than the estimate. In addition to the excellent service, the crew was friendly, hard-working, and a pleasure to deal with. Yes, I'd certainly recommend them.

Jim has always been great to work with. His price is always considerably less than competitors and the work is first rate. I have used him to cut down approx 20 trees over the years and have never had a bad experience with him or his crews. I have recommended him to friends who reported similar experiences.

We called for an estimate to remove a large willow tree from our backyard. We received a return call the next day. Someone came out to give us an estimate within two days. We called back to say that we were happy with the estimate and would like to have the work performed. They were able to get us on the schedule the next week. We were at work when the work was performed. We were happy to not have to miss work to have the tree removed. The work was performed to our expectation and our yard was very clean. Our neighbor told us that they worked quickly and efficiently. We were very happy with Jungle Jim's and would definitely use their services in the future and recommend them to others.

I called to request an estimate to remove a fallen tree my yard a few months ago. I was told he would stop by to provide an estimate within a few days. Having heard nothing for almost 10 days, I called to find out when I could expect him. After much searching, the person who answers the phone came up with the information and said he wasn't interested in it, that he HAD stopped by and she didn't know why he didn't want to do it. She said she thought she had left me a message but I received no message either at work or at home. I was disappointed because I read these wonderful reviews - didn't even have to cut the tree down. Even a negative response is better than none - and a reason why would have helped. There are a lot of tree companies - I'm sure I'll find one.

I made the appointment for an estimate a week ago. He was to come out in a timeframe between 5 pm and 6:30 pm. During the day of the appointment, the company called and left a message on my voicemail indicating that I needed to call back to confirm the appointment, otherwise she was not sending him out to give the estimate. Here, since 5 pm, I've been waiting for this guy to show up to give the estimate. I then checked my voicemail at 5:20 pm, which I now know was too late, and I discovered that I got the message from the company stating that I needed to call to confirm the appointment or else he won't come. I then called, but it was too late. He didn't come to his apppointment. It's a shame they had to do business this way. When the appointment was made, I was told that he would show up unless she calls me beforehand to tell me otherwise. They did not honor their appointment!

Jungle Jim's office was very responsive in setting up the estimate. He came by within a week and gave me an estimate half of what another service had offered. They told me it would probably be 2-3 weeks before they got to it, and within that time frame they came. They worked quickly (Jim is like a Ninja) and cut down the tree. The only complaint was they stepped on plants of mine and my neighbor. My neighbor was pretty upset, so I offered Jim $20.00 less to cover the replacement. He said that was okay without hesitation. It would have been better if they had been more careful, but he responded appropriately.

We contacted Jungle Jim's after reading the great reviews on Angie's List. As expected, their quote was very low, the lowest of the 3 tree service companies we had come out to assess the job. We were anticipating tree removal would be difficult (meaning expensive) because the house was very close to one side and power lines and a busy road were close to the other side, but they said it would be no trouble. Jim was very friendly and professional, and he came when he said said he would. We ended up going with another company because we also wanted new trees planted in place of the ones to be removed, and there were other tree service companies on AL that specialized in tree planting.
