I was very impressed with the workmanship of the crews (gutters and siding), and the entirety of process from sales, to coordination, and the install team.

Shane was our project manager and he came out when I had my siding and gutters redone. He made sure I was completely happy with everything that was done. I will definitely use him again in the future!

Good people. While we were not completely convinced that we needed a new roof because the last contractor we used did a poor job, the evidence presented seemed convincing, and there was no real pressure.

I absolutely could not be happier with my new roof and gutter. Everyone I worked with from Andrew the project manager to his team of roofers were friendly and professional. They cleaned up my yard so well that I swear it looked better than when they started. The job went smoothly and quickly. I highly recommend this company. I plan on using them for additional jobs . I’ve even received compliments from some of my neighbors who are very likely to use them as well.

TLDR: I recently had one of their salesman out for a free estimate and unbeknownst to us, the salesman filled out a loan application in our names, with our information, and signed (forged) our signatures on the loan application. Full Story: I had a salesman out from home genius exteriors. Upon meeting him I was explicit in that I was only looking for a quote to compare with other roofers in the area. He seemed to acknowledge this as he said okay let me do my inspection and I'll get back to you with some numbers. He did his inspection and then went through his spiel with why we should choose them and the products they use and how they're better than other companies in the area. He then started asking us for information about ourselves as he said he wasn't given any of our details. So we started providing him with the details as we were going to be financing the roof replacement, in the situation we would be working with them. It was after this that he asked for our bank account information for a deposit at which point I said I'm not giving a deposit because we hadn't decided on whether we were going to be working. Mind you we hadn't signed a contract with them. It was at this point roughly 3 hours later that the free estimate finished up (it was only supposed to be 60-90 minutes). Once he left we went to bed since it was 9pm at night and 1 hour past my daughter's bedtime. It wasn't only till the next day that I had realized that the salesman had illegally and unknowingly filled out a loan application in my wife's and my name and electronically signed it without us ever having read the loan for financing (we would never have signed the loan because we hadn't determined whether or not we were working with them or not). Fortunately I was able to get in touch with the loan servicing company and cancel the loan before any damage had been done. I would highly caution anyone working or considering working with this company.

Don't go with this company. Their salesperson Darren Massey lied to me about what this company would be able to do so I signed a contract with them. The day they being working on my house, the project manager tells me that Darren Massey sold me a roof that is incompatible with my needs. Furthermore, the project manager told me that Home Genius Exteriors doesn't sell the materials that would be more appropriate for my situation and needs. I contacted their main office and they were very flippant about my concerns.

Highly dissatisfied, and feeling quite ripped off, damaged my vehicle, over charged for materials with no refund, requesting a call from the project manager's manager for 2 days, called main office and asked for resolve, got told i would get a call and nothing. $19754 for a roof and this is the treatment you get.

Our project manager Shane has been so great to work with. He answered all our questions and went above and beyond what was asked. The process was seamless from start to finish. We are very happy with the work done and would recommend this company to anyone.

Do not use home genius Exteriors. This company is very difficult to contact and when you do contact them they say they're going to take care of issues and get back to you but they never do. Also, they were supposed to send me pictures of the work before it was done as well as after it was done and they never sent them. They also destroyed my property while they were doing the roof. Tthey ruined the paint job on my son's car, broke my awning, installed the flashing on the garage roof incorrectly, left plank boards hanging in the Attic. I was also supposed to have gutters done. they are still not done. It has been almost a month. Two weeks after the original roof was done someone showed up without even calling me to make repairs on the roof part. they did not clean up the way they were supposed to and they made an absolutely huge mess. I am still waiting for them to contact me regarding my property, my pictures, and my gutters.

Everyone I was in contact with this company was very professional, caring, prompt and knew what I needed to get my project completed. Highly recommend this company

The project started great. The salesman walked us through the process, answered questions, and had a pitch that convinced us to go with Home Genius even though their bid was $4-6K higher than others. I was notified when materials would be delivered and the time window for completing the project. The crew worked really hard putting in very long days. Problems started on day 1, when the crew installed 90% of the rake drip edge incorrectly. The site manager said this would be corrected before shingling the next day, but I had to stop the workers and explain what needed to be done. No-one checked the attic for insulation prior to installing roof vents, they missed two spots with underlayment, did not install the underlayment or shingles as recommended by Owens Corning, and installed the shingles over the eves and rakes incorrectly. These were only the problems I caught! All the shingles along the rakes were ultimately replaced (during which one more of the improperly installed rake drip edges was discovered and replaced, but they failed to prepare flat sections of roof for the sealant used, and did not install two pipe vent boots correctly. I pointed out the problems to the site manager, who did not do anything about it. The local company owner watched the crew shingle over bare sheeting. The local company owner did agree to come back to replace the shingles along the rakes and improperly installed underlayment when I showed pictures of the bare wood. I finally had to turn to Owens Corning for a resolution to three remaining problems.

This company is a rip off they come off very nice and helpful but by the time you notice what's going on it's too late they started my project telling me they can do everything I needed to and once I already paid them so much and told them what was going on They act like they were going to fix it and they did not. They have a Mexicans who don't know what they're doing and who don't talk English. They are supposed to fix my roof in my face and soffit and I did not. they told me my roof was too high Once they were almost done they use wires to hang my gutters up and they did not complete the job. They told me they left my job a mess I have you don't recommend them. I am very dissatisfied and they try to rush and put my roof on without replacing old wood, if you're not there to see, they will get over on you. Please do your research before hiring them it's a scam they don't have their own workers. They hire people who they don't know that can do the job and if they can't do the job, they're still gonna take your money and act like they did it so please watch out
