+ -1 moreThis was a big project lasting two weeks. They did everything on time and to specs. The following year we asked them to rebuild the steps to match the deck and they did a great job on that too.
Description of Work: Our back deck had splintered wood and was accumulating composting pine needle and oak leaf debris between the joists. Crystal recommended a tongue-and-groove flooring and it was exactly the right approach. They removed the old planking and strengthened the whole joist work without having to totally destroy the old deck. Because there are no more gaps between boards for leaf mold to accumulate. We had this done 4 years ago and it still looks like new.

+ -1 moreWe contacted crystal and set up an appointment for her to come give us an estimate on installing a new deck. She never showed up for the appointment. We called her 4 times the day she was suppose to be there. Left 2 voicemails and we didnt recieve a call from her until the following day in the afternoon. At that point she left a voicemail with a terrible excuse for missing the appointment. This is so uncalled for i will never recommend this company or use them. There is no excuse to not show up for an appointment or to even call. Its not that difficult to make a phone call and say you cant make it. Instead my wife and i rearranged our busy schedule for nothing and sat around waiting for nothing

+ -1 moreI did not spend any money on the estimate. They were so much more expensive than anybody else I have talked to and it was almost double the price. They were punctual and they came out and provided the estimate. I think that everybody should make their money through the work they do, but at some point I felt that there was price gouging and that is where I felt they were. I will not consider using them at all.

Description of Work: George, the contractor, was very professional. He completely understood what renovations and additions I wanted done to my deck and offered valuable suggestions to improve it even more without additional costs. He showed photos of how it would be constructed and answered all my questions. He gave me a quote, a detailed contract and a start date on that very first visit. The deck was solidly constructed in a timely manner. All my concerns were quickly addressed. I made a few changes that were no problem for the crew. They took everything in stride and did a terrific job in 90 + degree heat! My deck looks beautiful, better than I expected. . I should mention that included with my deck the crew constructed a roof, two gates and a small fence
