Working with Commonwealth was a very positive experience from start to finish. They had someone out very quickly to give us an estimate and he assured us that we would just have to give them a little lead time for when we wanted the work actually performed. That turned out to be exactly the case. Our entire project involved a total gutting and remodeling of our master bathroom. My wife and I are doing all of the work ourselves except for the electrical work, the fitting and placement of the new tub and the re-plumbing of the shower fixtures. Many contractors that we contacted did not want to get involved in the project unless they were doing the bulk of the work. Commonwealth had no problem working with us and according to our schedule. The two workers installed the tub and did the plumbing in a little less than a day and did an excellent job. First, laying drop cloths from the front door to the bathroom, and then doing all that needed to be done to do a first rate job.

I've not much to tell since I didn't see the work being done. I was at the house that day having some other work done, but, amazingly, the work was completed before I even knew the gentleman had been there. Afterwards, the owner of the company came by to collect payment and make sure that I was pleased with the work and asked him to give me a quote on some other work. I was very, very please, particularly considering the price. I had gotten two other estimates for the work and Commonwealth had come in far under.

The meeting went as planned. Discussed the job and my needs in detail. It's been over two weeks now and I have not yet heard anything as far as a price. I thought that I would have had an estimate by now or a telephone call to at least let me know that I have not been forgotten.

When they came for the estimate I explained that I didn't want the floor done. He was not pushy, listened to what I wanted, and took very good notes. He took me to the tile company, which was quite a distance from my home, and let me look at the tile choices. He arranged all the ordering of the supplies (faucets, towel bars, tile, etc.) for me. After I had picked everything out, I decided to change the floor. There wasn't a problem doing that. The person who did the work was very nice and worked with me. He answered all of my questions. He offered good suggestions on the tile design. He told me everything up front and it looks beautiful. I was very impressed with the company. They accommodated my schedule.

We cannot say enough good things about this company and our experience with them. Leslie Dukehart was professional, courteous, and accommodating. The three-man crew was fantastic! The foreman went out of his way to find the necessary materials needed to complete the job the way we wished. All three worked together to make sure the special features we needed would look good. They worked quietly, quickly, were neat, and mannerly.

I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.
