Beam Heating & Air Conditioning

I called Beam on a recommendation from a friend who had them install whole house air conditioning. They gave the best price, by far. Some of the other people that I had come in snickered at the quote I told them, and said that I was probably being ripped off. Beam definitely did a quality job. Very friendly, answered every question, showed up and finished when they said they would and disposed of the old furnaces. It's been two years, and no problems that I know of, and the heating is much more efficient now. I would make them the first stop when getting quotes, and they'll probably be your last.

I tried to switch from heating to ac, and after that neither worked. The company that had installed the units was out of business so I contacted Angies List to find a replacement. I called Beam, and they were able to accomodate me within four days of my call. As noted above the service was timely, effective, complete, and reasonably priced.

Beam Heating & Air Conditioning Company is reliable. They are nice people. They do a good job. I?ve had them for a long time. Their prices are reasonable. I?ve never had any problems with the quality of their work. They call me and tell me when they are coming for the yearly maintenance check up. The appointments are not prescheduled. I would continue to use them in the future.

My furnace had been getting louder over the course of a month. Knowing that a few of my friends had work done with this company and highly recommended them, I called Beam Heating and A/C on 3/4/11 and spoke ,with whomever answers the phone to inquire about getting an estimate to have the furnace as well as the air conditioner and water heater replaced since they were considerably old. The woman told me the request would be delivered to the owner. Within 15 minutes, the owner called back and said he could come out the next morning to provide me an estimate. He arrived promptly the next morning (3/5/11), was very professional and knowledgeable, and provided to me any options I may want to consider. Along with the furnace I opted for an air cleaner, a humidifier, and a programmable thermostat. I was happy with the estimate and at that time said I would like him to perform the work. The work was scheduled for the morning of 3/14/11. The two men that performed the work arrived promptly, were very nice as well as professional, and did a very good job, including cleaning up afterwards. And, they explained how to work the thermostat, humidifier, etc. I would definitely recommend this company. It was a pleasant experience.

On the coldest day we had experienced in December our furnace failed to provide heat. Temperatures were in the low 20's during the day and down into the low teens at night. Because it happened in the evening I decided to call the next morning. Since it had been colder than normal for the past few days, I expected to have to wait a few days due to the high demand. To my surprize, I was told that someone would be there late that morning. The service rep called about 10:30 to tell me he expected to be at my house in about an hour. He was about 10 minutes later than his estimate. I was satisfied with that. After about a half hour, he diagnosed the problem and had to leave to get parts. He was back in about 45 minutes and had the problem fixed in about 15 minutes. The only negative part of the experience was that he replaced 2 parts at the same time instead of trying one first to see if that would have fixed the problem. Both parts could have been replaced individually. I wouldn't have insisted that he take the first part back out if it didn't fix the problem, but even a wild guess would have given a 50/50 chance of only needing one part. Overall, I was very satisfied with the result.

Very personable, efficient and not hurried. This is the 3rd call in in less than 10 years and was pleased with the service everytime.

I called Beam Heating & AC for service help in the middle of the summer heat wave for my elderly father's whole-house air conditioning that wasn't working. The secretary Sandy who answered the phone was tremendously responsive, personable, and offered concerned advice on steps to take to stay cool. She was hugely apologetic that she would not be able to get a repair man out that afternoon, and promised that the office would call the following morning with a definite appointment time for that day. They did! The repair man Floyd arrived on time and was informative, friendly and extra helpful. He was able to fix all the problems right then and there, as he carried a wide array of replacement parts in his truck. He explained what he was doing as he was doing it, which tickled my father who was interested in the process and stood watching. Floyd was genuinely respectful and took extra time out - for which he did not charge - to explain things to my father and to write down instructions and other pertinent information for him. My father's pronouncement was "A-1 all the way". We have already marked our calendars for September to have Floyd come out to prepare my Dad's furnace for the winter. We have friends who have used Beam Heating for years, and now we will be too.

They are very professional. We have been very pleased with them and the work that they have done. We plan on calling them to back come out in the fall to do more work.

When my furnace started making a loud noise I called beam as they were the one the realty co had used and their number was on the furnace. They came that day, as it was cold out! The tech was very good. He didn't try to sell me anything else, and fixed the problem. I thought the charge would be higher.

He took his time answering questions and was very informative. I was standing there while he was working. He was very friendly and professional. I was satisfied.

I saw the good reviews on this company on Angie's List, but I had to wait quite a while for an appointment since I did call at the peak of heating season. I was very unhappy with the company I dealt with before (also the same company that installed the furnace and AC),so I decided to give Beam a try. Floyd did an excellent job and explained everything he was doing and why. The clips that hold the furnace filter in place were broken and Floyd repaired those also. The thermostat (also installed by the last company) was hanging away from the wall, and Floyd worked at it until it was positioned correctly. I was surprised at the bill too! I expected to be charged more than that. I'll be calling in a more timely fashion to get the AC checked. I was very happy with the service and will use them again.

They promised within a week and came the next day. Set up and completed entire operation (while another work crew was there) in just under 4 hours. Was recommended to use them from a neighbor, and will now recommend them myself. Of all other quotes, were asking 80% of the cost of their nearest competitor.

I always use Beam for my heating and air services. They maintain it all for us and do checks in the winter too. They will turn it on for us as well. The problem with the switch was fixed and I have not had a problem since. I think they are very professional and I have nothing to complain about at all.

A neighbor referred me to this company. After receiving 4 estimates, this one was the lowest price of all of them. They seemed professional enough but did not carry the brand of heating unit I wanted to install.

The work they did was always excellent, but I did not hire them for the replacing of the unit because they wanted more money than what I ended up paying. They were reasonable and good while I used them and I'd hire them again. I used them once a year to do the cleaning.

They called me back the same night I called them and set up an appointment for a day or two later. He came out at the appointed time and later mailed me an estimate. I accepted their bid and they came out to do the work and they did a marvelous job. I have nothing but the highest praise for them and I would highly recommend them. A +!

They have never failed me. They are busy because they are good so you might have to wait, unless it is an emergency. They have put in two systems for me and I have always been pleased.

Mr. Beam came to our house on time, carefully listened to what we wanted, and explained the work, time & money (in writing) involved in the job. There was a muddle with the scheduling, though... We didn't hear back for 2 weeks after we sent in the deposit. When I called, I found out that Mr. Beam was/had been in the hospital. It was another 2 weeks before the work was scheduled. The installer was to arrive between 8 and 8:30 am. All four of us usually leave the house in one vehicle at 8 am, so we planned on leaving by 9 that day. The installer arrived at 8:45. Of course, being 15 minutes late sounds like no big deal, but it was to us because we're all tied together by our one car. Anyhow, my husband and the installer reviewed the job, decided on the location of the outside AC unit, and exchanged cell phone numbers. They worked out the details over the phone. We left at 9:30am. The installer & Mr. Beam were ALWAYS polite; they left the basement perfectly clean and locked up.

I called Beam and they sent someone to my place almost immediately. Dwayne instantly located the problem, changed my filter and even gave me a new controller all of which he had in his van. He was prompt, efficient and very friendly.

This particular company has been used several times in the past for various jobs including but not limited to heating, air conditioning, plumbing, boilers. This job came in with the lowest bid, had all of the right equipment and tools to do the job and were very knowledgeable in my particular application.

I LIKE THE PEOPLE THAT WORK FOR THEM. THEY ARE PLEASANT AND KEEP THEIR APPOINTMENTS WHEN SCHEDULED. THEY DON'T MAKE A MESS IN MY BASEMENT. THEY TAKE ALL THE GARBAGE WITH THEM.

WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK THEY DID. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. HE FIXED THE PROBLEM AND ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL.

CALLED THEM AT 3 AM IN THE MORNING AND WAS CALLED BACK BY 9 AM. SERVICE MAN WAS OUT BY 1 PM TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM

APPOINTMENT TIME WAS ARRANGED FOR HEATING SERVICE TO INSPECT. TIME OFF FROM WORK WAS TAKEN BY MY HUSBAND. HEATING SERVICE NEVER ARRIVED. CALLED IN EVENING TO SAY WON'T SERVICE OUR AREA AFTER ALL.

ALL THE WIRES AND CABLES WERE ALREADY HOOKED UP, SO IT WAS A LITTLE CHEAPER, BUT THEY DID GOOD WORK. GAVE ME A SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT AND I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE UNIT SINCE THEY PUT IT IN.
