Asturi Contracting

Joe came to take measurements. He said we'd have an estimate in a few days. I called the office about a week later. They said to give them a few more days. It's been a month and a half....I never heard back from anyone.

Excellent landscaping, used their services in 2011 for my daughter's graduation. I recommend any and everyone to use them.

Quality work at an affordable price. Joe and his team are easy to work with - very professional.

The people were great. Very nice and committed. The center of my fountain, I wanted removed was about 5' in diameter and apparently about 18" deep. We weren't sure how deep it was until after using a jackhammer for awhile and then having to go rent an air compressor. They worked continually until it was done. They hauled away all the cement and then brought in 2 loads of dirt and planted my tree. They had to drive on my grass a bit, to dump the dirt. The grass doesn't grow well there and they put dirt on it when they were through and sprinkled grass seed all over. I thought that was a nice touch. I would absolutely hire them again.

Although they weren't able to help me with residential snow removal (I'm out of their service area), a friendly employee took the time to give me advice about finding someone in my area. Thanks!

I believe the installation was very well done. Though we were told that the stone steps would never move, two years later there is one stone step outside the front door that is unstable. I will be contacting Asturi to address this-as it is a safety issue. In replying to the questions below--I did not address 'responsiveness'--as that would depend on whether they will address the loose step at no charge.

Mr. Asturi appeared very knowledgeable and offered his recommendations which was very informative. He was very efficient and pleasant and my tree is doing well.

They were really easy to work with. They did a nice job. It was all positive. It was a very good experience. Whatever they did, they did a good job doing it. It really helps protect that part of the foundation. I had just come off a bad experience with the contractor who did the addition. So, I was just so thrilled that they did not hustle me in any way. They did what they said they were going to do. I would say the price was reasonable.

The experience was good. We used them about 6 or 7 times. They were prompt, and did a good job. I would use them again in the future.

Responsiveness from Asturi has been slow over the last 2 years. Recently they took over 36 hours to plow our driveway & didn't hand shovel the walks as promised in the season contract. By the time they do plow, the driveway is icy from packed snow. Their response to the delayed service was that their commercial customers get priority because they pay more. There was no shoveling provided because there wasn't enough time. My sense is that Mr Asturi has taken on too much business & his residential customers are being put off.

JOE ARRIVES WITH ADEQUATE CREW TO DO NEEDED WORK. HE AND HIS CREW ARE NEAT, FRIENDLY, AND ARRIVE ON DESIGNATED DAY, WEATHER PERMITTING. WE HAVE USED THIS SERVICE FOR 20 YEARS.
