Description of Work: We had 3 trees planted, one large flower bed and one small flower bed done and 60' of groundcover placed on the front hillside. The flowerbeds and trees were all completed with edging block. Wade and his team did a great job. The schedule got pushed back to a week when I would not be in town but Wade made sure that they went and watered for the next three days until I got home. | |I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: My landscaping needed a total overhaul. Tuma removed old shrubs and replaced them with new ones. Also, they trimmed other shrubs, pines and trees. They edged the entire property and put down the mulch. |They were very professional and courteous. It took them two days to complete the work. I was very pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate to use Tuma Landscaping again.

Description of Work: Tuma installed a completely new storm drain system on our property as well as a French drain system on one corner of the property to help alleviate a chronic soggy spot. All four corner downspouts on the house were tied into this system with two new drainage pipes run to the end of the property, as well the French drain on one side. In the process several hundred feet of trench was dug, lined with gravel, pipe laid, trenches filled back in, covered with top soil then re-seeded. The entire job took two days plus a few hours on a third. A few weeks later, the grass is taking and the yard is looking normal again. We are waiting for a few good storms to see how effective the new system is, but so far there have been no issues with any of the work done. All the workers were professional and respectful of our property and they completely cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely recommend Tuma and plan on using them for future landscaping projects.

Description of Work: I called Tuma for lawn care and spring clean up. They were extremely responsive and professional. They came to my house, evaluated my lot and clean up effort and left an estimate in my door. They followed up with a call within a week and answers my questions and scheduled the clean up and first cut within days. They have been tremendous to work with and they have now cut my lawn twice and completed the spring clean up and their work is a very high quality. This is the third lawn service I have dealt with in 3 years and they are far above the other two.

Description of Work: Tuma Lawn did some landscaping work at my home. This included installing a dry creek bed, stone under my deck, natural stone steps down a grade, and regrading some areas in my lawn. They did nice work for a reasonable price. About the only thing that could have been better was communication. There was a bit of a mix-up on scheduling the initial meeting, and I had to call to find out when the work would actually be done. That said, even getting a service provider to call you back at all is amazing these days. | |I originally purchased an Angie's List deal to do an evaluation and plan. I pretty much knew what I wanted already, so I didn't need too much of a plan. I wasn't too worried about drawings, etc., so I didn't pursue them.

Description of Work: I was looking for some opinions and options on getting my lawn in better shape (new construction, pretty rough right now). I contacted Tuma through Angie's List and received a prompt call-back to schedule someone to come out for an estimate. Frank (the technician) then contacted me the day before to make sure he had the right address and time. When Frank got to my house, he took time to look around and get an understanding of my lawn and what I was looking to accomplish. He provided me with his input based on his experience and a wealth of knowledge. He was extremely personable and took the time to explain things to me and lay out the options. Ultimately, we both decided that it made more sense for me to do a bit of work myself this fall and be patient, rather than sinking a bunch of money into a very immature lawn. Frank's honesty and candor was greatly appreciated. Even though I didn't have Tuma perform any work, I have no doubt they would have done an excellent job. I have Tuma's number taped to my fridge for future jobs (including lawn work). Overall, extremely impressed with the professionalism and expertise of Frank and the Tuma Lawn Service.

Description of Work: Wade provided us with a landscaping plan for our front yard. He was very professional and had some great ideas. We were given a detailed drawing of the plan. We decided to do the work ourselves, but were very pleased with the service that Tuma Landscaping provided.

Description of Work: We had a backyard drainage problem. Hopefully all fixed. Can you believe no major rain in order to test it totally out! They it all. We all are waiting for a major rain to really test it out. They will come and check on it.

Description of Work: It took a while for them to get to us as we were not a big job, however it was within the time period they gave us when we signed the contract. The workers had to endure extreme heat and humidity but they all came through. They did a great job and we love our new yard.

Description of Work: One very large tree limb was removed. Cleaned up the yard and disposed of it in our woods.
