Purchased the carpet on 8-2-2014. Finally for installed on 9-9-2014. So the time it takes to get installed is pretty long. The installers were ok. But lowes gave them the wrong color carpet. They were going to loose lay it until the right carpet came in. Which would be another 2-3 weeks. I called lowes to voice my concerns and decided to keep the carpet they brought. They offered me 25% off. To wait 6 weeks and have the wrong stuff delivered is very disappointing. I don't think I'll be having lowes do anymore projects.

The issue was with 3 incorrect quotes given for the carpet, that initially started out in the $2200 range and ended in the $1000 range. If we hadn't recently recarpeted another property with similiar carpet, we would have been charged an outrageous amount for the carpet. Go through the quote very carefully because they added a zero to a length, causing the gross error. The installers did an adequate job, but did not reinstall the thresholds.
