Terrible job. Eric charges a ridiculous few for a basic walk through of a property. Anyone that has a basic knowledge of building and mechanics could do as well. After our purchase we discovered significant sewage and electrical issues that any true professional should have easily found. Save your money and find someone, who really knows how to do an inspection.

Eric Rode was great. He showed up on time, did a thorough job of inspecting the house from many different angles, and best of all, he was patient and took all the time needed to address questions from my wife and me, which he handled with a seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of inspection-relevant properties of the house and its construction and upkeep, along with a detective-like enthusiasm for the job. He didn't shy away from getting onto the steep roof for an up-close inspection of it and the chimney, and he also got into the crawl spaces to assess their condition. I'd definitely recommend him again.

Eric has inspected two homes I've been under contract with. His thoroughness actually brought up red flags that influenced the decision to step away from the first home. The amount of detail he brings to inspections is incredible - not only does he point out potential issues, but gives suggestions on maintenance and future upgrades. He balances an amazing amount of knowledge and experience with being approachable! I am not handy by any means, and I can't say enough about how nice it is to not feel stupid when I have a question - he is all about helping me understand and be confident in purchasing/negotiating repairs with the seller. It's really like going through a house from top to bottom with a friend. The only reason Quality is marked as a B, is that when I received the written report from the first house there were a couple of discrepancies from the actual inspection (different age of roof given verbally vs. report and garage door listed as having automatic reverse safety feature when it did not.) I received a response on the first advising that he revised after reviewing the pictures he'd taken, but the second inaccuracy wasn't addressed. We did not end up purchasing that home, so it wasn't a huge deal; however, if we were going to move forward I would've wanted to use it as a negotiating point with the seller.

I was absolutely impressed with Eric from Camelot Inspections! He was very friendly, organized, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. He took care of every little detail, even when the seller left their large breed dog running loose in the house. I would recommend this business 100%, everyone I spoke with was friendly and more than willing to help! - Thank you for making, what could have been a stressful experience, an informative advantage!

Mr. Eric Road (row-dee) arrived at the home on time and started inspection after explaining what all he would be doing. He was pleased that we (the buyers) were there and said that he prefers that because he can explain what he sees and answer questions as the inspection takes place and. He was very thorough, ran all appliances through a cycle to assure they work, checked all electrical switches and outlets, gas lines, faucets, garage doors, etc. He inspected the entire crawl space, all living area rooms and closets, attic, set up radon test equipment and took a water sample. Due to the weather he inspected the roof several days later when we met again so he could inspect the roof and chimneys and pick up the radon test equipment. He was very professional and very easy to work with. Inspection took approximately 5 hours, house was empty, all utilities on. Location of home 16-18 miles from Mr. Road's office.

Eric Rode of Camelot Inspections was very well reviewed on Angie's List, so I specifically requested him to perform this service. I was not disappointed. He showed up several minutes early, and he was exceptionally thorough in the inspection. I spent the entire time with him, and he took his time to explain everything he was seeing and what should be done to improve each situation. He even pointed out stuff that was done well by the builder or subsequent improvements that were made after the house was built, as well as answered questions about improvements that we are considering making to the property. Home buyers, this is the guy you want performing your inspections. I have no idea about Camelot's other inspectors, but if they are anywhere close to Eric's thoroughness and professionalism, I wouldn't hesitate to use them, either. Home sellers, if Eric is doing an inspection on your house, you'd better have your ducks in a row.

Very detailed inspection but did not contain fluff. I have had home inspection reports done by others and they were no where near as detailed and professional. The report given identified several areas of concern that we had missed even when looking at the home with a friend who does contracting work and quiet familiar with home construction. The report was very detailed with pictures included and noted problems and recommendations but it was clearly noted when it was a recommendation verse an actual problem. Inspector was on time and worked directly with our agent. Will definitely use in them future and recommend to other's if they are looking for a detailed inspection report.

Eric was great. He was friendly and engaging and answered all our questions. He obviously is very knowledgable and in no way made us feel stupid for asking any questions. Eric was very thorough and took extra time to make sure nothing was missed. The house is older and when I asked if we really needed a radon test due to the basement having lots of ventilation he quickly said it's up to me but he was not there to upsell me. He felt it wasn't necessary and thought it would be a waste of money. That and the obvious care and enjoyment he took in his work and talking with us made us totally comfortable and we will looking up the renovation side of the business for any work we need done. Thanks so much Eric. Made our experience much better and easier.

Eric Rode and his assistant John were fantastic. It was a very thorough inspection. Eric and John explained what they were doing the state of each system and item they were inspecting. Gave advice and the reason behind it where changes were necessary. It was a terrific learning experience. Once the work was done prior to the closing, Eric came back to review it for us. I would strongly recommend Camelot inspections. Eric and John were very easy to talk to and very patient and professional.

I can't say enough about the service we got. Our home inspection report was very detailed. They also showed us where the problem areas were in the house. I was given a phone number to call at any time. We asked for one test and they didn't think we needed it and so we didn't have it. It cost about $200-$250 extra, so that was a huge savings. They said they like to give their customers what they need. I like that they don't try to rip people off. Everyone was so nice and the detailed report didn't take long to get.

It went fantastic, during both inspections the people from Camelot included us in all aspects of the review. They were courteous and took the time to explain everything they were doing and their recommendations for fixes. As first-time home buyers and owners they made sure to not only inspect the home but also to show us how the mechanicals in the house work. There was a very fast turn-around on the report and Camelot backs up all the work they do. This is a great company, that we highly recommend.

This company was efficient and very professional. They were honest, open and very informative when I asked questions. They made the process painless.
