AMK Electric

My husband works away and we bought our first home days before we called AMK. I'm embarrassed to say I was happy with their work when they left. It wasn't until we started comparing prices with friends that we realized we were charged entirely too much. At the time I thought they did a good job, but my husband came home and was livid that they drilled holes in our hardwood and carpet (versus there being an outlet in the wall; it was just a wire poking out of the ground) and stapled into our trim. They even charged us for the time (1.5 hours) that they went to grab more supplies. Afterwards we were told by a friend (that owns a remodeling business) that we should have gotten a quote for the entire job and not charged by the hour. So we learned two lessons that day: 1) I shouldn't be home alone when work is done on the house that I know nothing about and 2) We shouldn't just call the first number in the phone book without getting recommendations. I will say that they were very nice and punctual. They fixed our doorbell without being asked which was exciting! I still don't know much about the subject, but based on every person we've talked to in the area (that have used electricians a lot more than us) I wouldn't use them again.

It did not "go".

He came by the following business day. He even rewired my spa for me. He also required some light fixtures inside my garage. He has also done service to my indoor electrical panel and run wiring for me for some receptacles. Mike has a bucket truck as well, so he can do other kinds of work that involve things outside of your home.
