+ -1 morePerfect! I called "the big guys" to get an estimate on what it would take to heat a 400 sq ft addition to my house. They all tried to sell me a second furnace or heat pump. My house was 1000 sq ft before the addition, so it's absurd to add a second furnace at great expense. Bierly took one look at the situation and simply moved two of my ducts. Done.
Description of Work: Relocation of heat ducts after adding an addition to my house.

Description of Work: Installed new heat-pump and metal ductwork. Installers showed up when they said they would. Did their job quickly and professionally and despite the heat and a very cramped attic, they kept a great attitude. Very professional and courteous to us the entire 3 days.

+ -1 moreMr. Bierly was very patient with us while we negotiated different options for replacing our oil furnace. We appreciated all of the time he spent trying to understand our concerns. The actual installation took several days, but there was a lot to do! The team worked together well and kept us informed through-out the process. They found a way to do the install in time for us to be able to take advantage of all of the available rebates for that season. When there was a glitch or two in the process (needing to create an additional access point to the attic/crawlspace), there were no delays or added costs. We have been very happy with the results of the heat pump installation -- it worked well, even during the really cold winter we just had! And, the air conditioning was something we never realized we would enjoy so much after getting it! We are planning to have The Bierly Group do more work for us soon.
Description of Work: The Bierly team installed a variable output, high efficiency heat pump to replace our oil-fueled hot water furnace. We were tired of paying oil prices and liked the idea of getting air conditioning with the heat pump scenario. We also had them install an electric hot water heater.
