Super conscientious and very detailed. It was so refreshing to pay a fair price and have an excellent job performed with great customer service. University Painters came out fast to give me a quote after another painter failed to show and squeezed our job in quickly during the vacation I had taken for the original painter to do the job. The crew he sent was awesome. They arrived on time both days of the job. They carefully checked the walls and went over drywall repairs I had done as well as doing some beyond my reach. The paint work itself was awesome. The cut ins are laser straight and the overall finish looks incredible. I would highly recommend them to anyone especially my friends. Greg

We were blown away by the time and effort put into this huge undertaking! They prepped the job in one day and had it all painted in two! The quality of the paint is phenomenal! We didn't know such a paint existed! They even helped fix one of the sheds that was damaged by groundhog activity. We would definitely hire this company again, no question about it!

The Job: 2 men, both very pleasant. They worked steadily, they were professional, they did a good job. I was very happy with the crew and the results. My only dissatisfaction was with the additional charge. Estimate: Did not mention number of painters or that there was an additional charge if it took more than the 2 coats specified on the estimate. They sent 2 men. It took one day, as expected per the estimate. It took 3 coats. I was charged an additional $250 because either 1) they sent 2 men instead of 1 or 2) it took 3 coats instead of 2. Since number of men was not specified and it only took the one day noted on the estimate I was not pleased. Also, there was one door and frame that was part of the estimate that I had done before the job was done. I paid the additional charge because they did a very good job. My advice is to make sure they include in the written estimate the number of men they will send, and what charges they will add if more men or more coats are required. Also be aware that they do charge an additional 3% if you use a charge card and payment is at time of service. This might affect when you schedule your work.

It went great! Their prices are affordable. Their prices beat every other quote I had. ( I had 10 quotes) The quality of their work is professional! They were both courteous and punctual. University Painters were able to get my job done ASAP, so that I didn't miss my deadline for closing. I would use them again in the future.

Overall I gave them a grade of A. The men were both courteous and professional. At the final walk through they corrected all concerns. The job was estimated for 2 days but was happy they finished in only one day. I gave a B on Quality only because a week after the only 2 small spackle repairs the cracks already resurfaced.

Amazing! The painters got the job done in record time and were extremely neat and precise with their work! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs painting done to their home. They were friendly, dependable, and knowledgeable about their work.

Jon came out same day I met him to give me estimate. Out of 3 others I chose University because he presented me with a business portfolio which was very detailed about the business and what they do. He quoted me a very fair price compared to others and always returned my calls/text up until he was able to schedule me. Chris,who performed the work, contacted me a week before his scheduled date to verify. Showed up on time and immediately went to work. Chris was very polite and professional. No property damage,no mess and even was nice enough to inspect my vent pipe gasket while on the roof. I was happy to sign his finish work order and give them high marks. I will definitely be calling University Painters for any work I need done in the future. Great job guys!!! Very Well. Great price, got scheduled before I anticipated, and work was done well. People in Neighborhood all stopped by to say how great it made the house look.

Great Very good communication with job supervisor and very good communication with job foreman. Had good updates with the project considering I was not always at the site. To top it off, when job supervisor stopped to check the final result he offered to help us move some very heavy furniture onto property. Without his help we would not have been able to accomplish. Way above the call of duty.

The painter arrived on time and did excellent work. The job required more than I thought and had communicated beforehand. The painter responded well and completed the job thoroughly.

University Painters were incredible from start to finish. A neighbor worked with them on an exterior project and watching the team work and the final result made me give them a call. Jon came over to provide an estimate. He's thorough, easy to talk to and thinks of potential challenges that I probably wouldn't have thought of. They did an incredible job and we are already planning on bringing them back for a tricky exterior job and probably a couple small interior projects, too. Can't recommend them enough -- super quality at a pretty crazy reasonable price point.

The work was excellent all the way from first contact until payment was complete. The employees were on time with excellent communication and performed great work. We had some confusion with the payment and Jonathan was very willing to wait until the payment was received. I will definitely use them again when the need arises.

The painter, Mike, was great. He was on time, easy to communicate with, and he was very professional. The work he did was top notch.

GREAT! Their team were on time, professional, friendly, and did a GREAT JOB! They had to paint the interior of the house, EVERY ROOM of a 100+ year old house and the made the house look like a showroom house after they were done. I even had them paint paneling and it looks fabulous!

It was a pleasure working with Jonathan Frank during the proposal process. University Painters price was very competitive but what impressed me the most was their responsiveness. The Paint Crew was wonderful to work with. I really enjoyed interfacing with Steve, Naomi and John. I know Tim was also here but he was so busy working I never got to meet him. I highly recommend University Painters of Millersville and would encourage anyone to ask specifically for the crew I had here.

Paul from University Painter was excellent! He worked fast, so our home was transformed in just two days! He was meticulous with his work, so he noticed every detail. He painted all the old asbestos siding and all the window trim and the doors of our one hundred year old home. He went above and beyond what I had expected. He had no problem painting the highwork toward the top of our house. I am so pleased with how beautiful our house looks now! I feel like we really got our money’s worth! I would highly recommend this company, and Paul, to anybody.

Steve and his crew we're very thorough, with attention to detail. The job couldn't have turned out better. Our house looks brand new. They were very respectful of our home and property and definitely went above and beyond. The job was finished in a reasonable amount of time, despite weather issues. The only negative was that it was a bit difficult to understand the start date. We didn't receive one until literally the day before the work started. They could also use an upgrade to their billing statement process so that each part is accounted for on the statement. That would have helped resolve some confusion at the end of the process. I'd recommend them any time. I've added the "before" and "after" photo of our house in this review.

Jonathan did my estimate and scheduled me really fast—I didn’t expect to get in so quickly! Sergio and Nate were very polite and professional, and did a great job. They cleaned up all the splotches of dark color from when I painted my walls, and they left such clean lines. I couldn’t be happier!

Perfect. The paint gave my exterior of the home a brand new look. Very pleased.
