They are very efficient and neat. They didn't leave anything laying around and they had it done in a couple days.

They did a great job and paid a great deal of attention to details in woodwork and in cleaning up. I am using them again for a large exterior job.

This is our second report since having the whole interior of our house painted on July 13, 2011. We now have finished by having the family room painted. Our call to schedule the work was answered promptly. We were treated as a valued customer and the work was started approximately within a week. We appreciated the fine work Dave the painter had done for us with the rest of the house last July. Again he has taken great pride in his work and made sure everthing was done properly and at a high standard. He took extra care in making sure all the necessary prep work was completed. The work was completed to our satisfaction. The house looks beautiful! We would again recommend University Painters to anyone. Their work is excellent and the price is fair for the great quality of their work.

Estimate was given promptly by Jonathan Frank. Everything looked good on paper. Painters arrived as expected. The job was to last 2 days but they surprisingly finished in one day. I was told by the crew foreman that we would have to reglaze some of the windows. I was to be charged per window. In actuality all of the windows were reglazed at an additional cost of $437. We were not expecting this additional cost. The foreman came to the door at the end of the first day and requested a check. I asked him for an invoice. He said they don't give invoices. He had the final amount scribbled on a piece of paper. I told him I'd give him a check after my husband and I had a chance to walk around the house and check the work. He said he wanted me to walk around immediately because he needed to get the check in the mail or they wouldn't get paid. Fortunately, I still refused because when we actually did walk around the next morning, we were not pleased. The windows were painted shut and the glazing was sloppy. Jonathan was responsive to our complaint and sent the foreman back out to repair the paint job. He also agreed to email me a receipt..

in all cases. the work was done on time, at the price agreed and the result was excellent. I plan to use them again for interior work

Our overall experience with them was okay, but my wife is displeased with the result because they recommended a flat paint. She went along with that reluctantly and is now very displeased with the flat. She would have preferred a semi gloss. They did a good job.

University Painters were very prompt in giving us an estimate and a projected date for said painting job. Mr. Jonathan Frank answered all our questions and concerns involving the job. We then met with his foreman Dave who was very helpful. Being a homemaker, I was present during the painting. I never felt the need to watch over the painters because they took great pride in their work as it showed in the results. Quality paint was used and all surfaces were properly prepared before painting. They were on time and eager to work each day. They tidied up their work area at the end of each day. Dave made sure we were satisfied with the work that was completed each day. Dave and the young man who was his assistant were friendly,respectful,professional and hard working. We would gladly recommend University Painters to anyone needing any type of painting job. We are very pleased with the results.The price was fair for such quality work. Our house looks beautiful! We thank them for doing such a great job. We look forward to hiring them again to paint our family room.

I could not ask for better, at any step in the process.

Univeersity Painters gave us a "same day" quote originally and committed to starting the week of 10/18. A couple days before 10/18 they called and asked if they started somewhat later, would that be a problem and I told them it was fine. Then on 10/18 they showed up and began working! Everything went well. We had prepped as well as we could, but you could tell he was professional and was fussy about getting everything right. He covered all surfaces before starting and asked any questions before starting and then he worked all day without break! As each day progressed I could see that we would be happy with his work. He fixed things I did not think important and spent time on troublesome spots that I would not have. All in all, we are extremely happy with the results. We feel that we got honest value for what we paid. After the job was done, the painter told us that if we found any problems we were to call him and he would be right over to fix them. so fa we have not found any problems! I would gladly recommend these guys to anyone interested in a quality job. They are not the least expensive, but they are professional and pay attention to the customer.

Quick response to my contact through Angie's list was much appreciated. The painter arrived promptly at the scheduled time and completed all the painting in one day, returning early the next morning to put another coat on the floor. Very professional. Will definitely use University Painters for any painting jobs in the future.

Our home was a large undertaking for any contractor. University used premium paint and equipment in their applications. Paint splatter was minimal and good housekeeping was used daily. We were pleased with the outcome, painters were professional, courtious and pleasant we were able to leave our home with no fears. We would recommend this contractor due to their fairness in pricing, commitment to getting the job done and the outcome of the project.
