I was very pleased--I was a little put off by scheduling the initial visit for the estimate through University Painter's corporate office, but once Jonathan came to the house, he gave me his local contact info, including his cellphone, in case I had any questions about the estimate. He was very easy to work with; I had said I had a deadline of an upcoming wedding, and then we needed to go out of town for a funeral, which caused a bit of a time crunch. He rearranged some work in order to get our job done in a timely way, which was a huge help and stress relief. He checked in with me from start to finish, and his painter Tony was excellent, pointing out some places he needed to fix that I hadn't even noticed. And he cleaned up extremely well--I could hardly tell he'd been there most days, even on the messy wallpaper stripping day. The job took a little longer than they thought, but it was about what I had expected, and I very much appreciated that they didn't rush to get it done in the time they said, but took the time needed for a good job. I would definitely use them again.

When I called to schedule an estimate, the gentleman that took my info was extremely professional and friendly. I was called within 2 hours from the owner (Johnathan) to confirm our appointment and he followed up with an email as well. He came out with a few days, as agreed and was right on time. He was very professional, asked me several questions to make sure that he knew exactly what we wanted. While he wrote out our estimate (I liked getting it on the same day of his visit), he gave us a binder to review with a little info about himself, the company as well as many before and after photos. Customer service is this company's specialty! When the painter (Jermemy) came on the first day, Johnathan stopped out to make sure that everything was as we expected. Jeremy was also very professional (an personable), he kept his working area neat, the was very detailed and completely cleaned up after he was done. It was not disruptive at all. Overall, this was an excellent experience for us. They made an otherwise daunting task a quick and easy process. We plan on using them for future painting projects within the next few weeks. I highly recommend the use of this company, the customer service, timeliness of services and the quality of the work set them apart from any other company that we have used before. You will not be disappointed!

The crew prepped and painted interior walls and floors, exterior porch and trim. They were prompt, professional, tried hard to please us and stayed until we had approved the job. We could not recommend them more highly.

Jeremy did a great job painting. He was thorough and detailed. Jonathan came by to check on his progress and was there to answer any questions. After the painting was completed, we had an opportunity to evaluate the job and have corrections made.

In February we signed a contract and in May no painting had been done. We were not happy with it but I’m not sure it was their fault. There may have been some weather delays and I know one employee had an accident. It was just an unfortunate situation.

Working with University Painters was one of the best experiences I've ever had dealing with a contractor. Prior to talking with Jonathan I had attempted to get estimates from three other painters -- two of them recommended by friends! -- and ended up totally frustrated by unreturned phone calls, failure to provide an estimate after seeing the job etc. In marked contrast, Jonathan showed up and provided a thorough, written, on-the-spot estimate within just a few days of my call. He was able to accommodate a tight timeline linked to a real estate open house, despite several glitches outside his control (i.e., a subcontractor's sudden illness, inclement weather). The job was done well, and on time. Best of all, Jonathan was exceedingly professional and pleasant throughout. He's one of the few contractors I've ever hired who did what he'd said he was going to do, when he said he'd do it -- without reminders from me. Doing business with University Painters was truly a pleasure, and I recommend Jonathan and his company enthusiastically and without reservation.

Went well. No problems. Took about a month for them to come out and do the work, but I was told ahead of time that it would take that long because they were busy. I wasn't in a big hurry, so it worked out fine. The guys were even kind enough to snap a piece of house siding back in place for me while they were working on the exterior!

Project dragged out but was completed on time.

They were extremely profession at all levels. The work was done quickly. The job completed on time and to our requests. We will be using them again to power wash our exterior as soon as as our income tax return is recieved.

Jon from University Painters showed up on time, and on short notice, to provide an estimate (bonus point on responsiveness for the short lead time). He was very thorough and completely professional in going through the house with me to determine my painting needs. After we completed the walkthrough, he went back to his vehicle and prepared the estimate right on the spot. Bonus point for that ... I have waited almost a week for estimates from some service providers. Ultimately, though University might indeed have provided the best job, their pricing was too high for my budget (2x the cost of the lowest bidder).

It was okay, I was a little concerned because I thought they painted the house a little too early in the season but that's something I have to wait and see. It was tidy when they were working and it was tidy when they cleaned up. They always called so my husband knew when they're going to be there and if there were any delays. They give an estimate and they hold pretty much the estimate, they do use contractors not their own painters.

Could not have asked for a better painting experience. House looks beaufitul, would definitely use this company again. Organized, great communicators, keep you updated on everything that is going on.

The process went well. The quote was punctual and presented as the estimate was being done. It was cheaper than all others and delivered very well. Painters were very courteous and communicative.

University Painters did a wonderful job and were very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone for exterior painting. The job was not done as quickly as we had hoped, but that was due entirely to weather and not to the painters. When the job was on its final day, a storm hit when there was literally 5 feet of spouting around our screened in porch that needed the final coat of paint. The crew had to leave, and even though my husband offered to finish the final few feet himself, they very graciously declined his offer and drove the 30 miles to our house the next day to do about 20 minutes of work. If we ever need any more painting done on our house, we will definitely call University Painters again.

I have accepted their bid and they are starting the job tomorrow. Their responsiveness was tremendous. I heard from him right away and they made an appointment very shortly after we talked. He was here on time and gave me the estimate while he was here. The estimate was for approximately $2,000. So far I am very pleased with them.

The process took a week and went very smoothly. He worked 12 hours each day and started promptly at 8am. Very courteous. We originally went to them for a quote and was surprised that he was able to give a quote that day before he left. His quote was professional and covered everything. The work began on the date promised after we had to reschedule due to a conflict, but we easily agreed on a second date to start. The quality of painting was excellent and he kept telling us if we found any problems we should tell him and he would fix them immediately. We did not find any. Although the price seemed high compared to other quotes, they were professional in all areas and we got good value for what we paid. Some of the other quotes we got that were lower were slow to arrive and did not seem professional, so we are very happy with the results and will use them again when needed!

They were responsive and punctual. I would not use them again because they just used water and not any type of cleaner.
