Oil tank removal. Great communication. Very professional. Job done quickly and the contractors were great.

We had to remove an underground oil tank and replace it with an about ground. They did the work perfectly all in one day. Additionally, they handled the permit from filing it through the inspection. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the workers who did the hard labor to the office staff. I would hire them again and I definitely recommend them. Excellent service all the way around which I don't find often. Plus their price was very reasonable.

Had them remove an underground oil tank. They were fast and professional. Regraded the property and raked and removed all the stones from the top level so little or no prep needed for reseeding. Couldn't ask for better. Sal and the office staff were always available to answer questions! Overall a great company to hire.

Customer service was awesome. They were quick and efficient. They were more expensive than the other companies but you get what you pay for. Very happy with them.

I had the company remove an old oil tank and install a new tank in my basement. The owner was always available to answer my question throughout the entire project. The workers that came out to do the job were easy to work with and did a great job.

Did great work within the timeframe needed

This project involved removal of an in-ground oil tank, installation of a new tank in the basement, and soil excavation/remediation. Sal and his team were very responsive and kept me up-to-date on the status. They coordinated very well with the municipality and got the job done in a timely fashion despite some complicating factors which were well handled. Sal and his team were amazing! Clean, courteous, and respectful. Drained the old tank, cut and removed it, installed new tank/new lines, AND had the final inspection... all in less than 6 hours...WHAT??? Who does that??!! These guys do! Thanks Sal!!

Project was expense but less than Alternative Petroleum's max estimate. Sal held my hand throughout and explained the process, addressed all my concerns, called me back in a timely manner and even met me at my job so I could I could sign papers. He knew I needed to close on my house so he went above and beyond to hurry things along, he even hand delivered my paperwork to Trenton so it would be expedited. He lessened my stress every step of the way. I highly recommend Alternative Petroleum.

I spent months searching for a company to remove my underground oil tank. The other companies I called gave me vague answers. I also felt they were nickel and diming me. Alternative Petroleum Services came highly recommended. I gave Sal a call and he put my fears to rest. I hired them and within 3 days, they had the permit and were on site to remove the tank. The employees were great, professional and courteous. They took the time to answer my questions on the job site as well. They removed the tank within 1-2 hours. We spent more time waiting for the town inspector than it took to remove the tank. They filled the hole and regraded the soil. I couldnâ t have been happier with their work.

Sal was the greatest. He provided an estimate on his first visit and stuck to it the whole project. His teams was always here when scheduled and they did a great job.

After spending weeks online researching, reading horror stories, and becoming more panicked and confused I narrowed prospective candidates down to 4 companies and began the vetting process. I spoke with Shelley at Alternative Petroleum and immediately clicked with her. She answered all of my preliminary questions, clearing up some fact vs. fiction I had read online, and had a confidence in her manner was very reassuring. I didn't wait to get all estimates because I made my decision to go with Alternative Petroleum after our conversation. Was I ever right! Maria, Shelly, Dominique and Sal were very responsive in answering all of my questions and explaining the process in detail. They returned my calls right away and always exhibited patience and a bit of much-appreciated stress-relieving humor. Sal was on-site at 8am with his crew - all very professional, respectful, hard working guys - and they quickly got the tank pulled from my extremely tight space without damaging anything (retaining wall and paved walkway). My neighbors even commented on how clean and efficient they were. This is a family-owned business and you get the feeling they really like working together and enjoy what they do. Sal's phone never stopped ringing and I can see why. Each person involved with the business is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and professional. I had encountered so much conflicting information online and from the different companies I spoke with that I was braced for the process to be a nightmare. Thanks to Sal and Company I was wrong! When the work was done to remove my oil tank, the work was scheduled quickly and the tank removed the same day. However, I was informed by the contractor that my town had to inspect the tank before it could be removed from my property and there was no appointment for a week after the work. Once the inspector did their part, I had contacted the contractor and waited for about another two weeks before the tank was removed. It had been sitting in my backyard for about 3 weeks. The owner Sal was very courteous and responsive, I just wished that everything was organized so the timing worked out.

Very clean and professional. Great job removing my two 275 gallon above ground oil tanks. Highly recommended!
