The owner Sal was very easy to work with. The only issue I had is that they didn't put back enough back fill.

4 men arrived when they said they would, were courteous and explained everything they had to do to remove the old fuel oil tank and install the new one. Completed the job up to current codes and cleaned everything before they left. We were extremely happy and would recommend them anytime.

The team did an amazing job. Even though several scans indicated there was a tank under our wooden deck, Sal and team removed everything very carefully, as nobody was sure. Turned out, there was no tank, but the team reconstructed the mahogany deck in a week's time at freezing temperatures to make sure we cold close on the house. I would recommend their services any day!

Was recommended this company and although I had never heard of them, I am glad I hired them for the job (removal and installation of 2 new above ground tanks). Living in PA there are no regulations when it comes to home oil tank installations. But with this company they went above and beyond what my state considered safe to make sure the new system would keep operating in a safe and effective way for years to come. The customer service was excellent as they were very quick to assist with the project at hand, as well as providing information about how to best approach my old house's challenges. In total the whole job only took them about 6 hours to get the new tanks in, oil transferred over, and the oil tanks removed. If I ever have another issue with my heating system this company will be first on my list to contact as they did fantastic work.

Uncle Sal is like that long list uncle you never knew you had. Being a women hiring someone is always challenging, but in no way did he ever make me feel inferior, something I really appreciated. You will not be disappointed by him or his crew.

Alternative Petroleum did a magnificent job removing my tank and saved me $5000, which I would have paid to PSEG to disconnect my gas line, as they has installed the new gas lines very near to the tank. I just can’t say enough great things about them. Would recommend without reserve! Thank you Sal

Had them come out to remove an above ground oil tank. Their price was really good compared to a couple of other companies we looked at. The people who came to take out the tank were nice and professional. Only negative thing is be prepared to wait after they take out your tank to have them come back and remove it completely. We had our tank removed 9/15/20 and they just came back last week (beginning of december) to haul away the pieces. Our tank was inspected, it just took time for them to come back and pick up the pieces. Other than that they did a great job!

They did and excellent job in removing a 550 gallon oil tank. The only issue I had was that Sal told me that they would not charge me for removing the clean oil in the tank, only the sludge. But then they charged me for removing every gallon of oil in the tank. That was disappointing. End of the day, my tank is gone and they handled the job well.
