+ -1 moreLaura came to our home twice, first for an initial evaluation of our needs and then for the organizing session. Both times, she was positive and reassuring. And so full of energy! The process was tough but not half as bad as we thought it might be, and we give full credit to Laura for that. The areas we worked on aren't just better organized, they're comfy and welcoming. We couldn't have asked or wished for a better experience. We highly recommend Laura to anyone who needs to feel like they're in charge of their environment, not the other way 'round.
Description of Work: We needed help after my sister moved into my very small apartment. Her bedroom looked like a hoarder lived there, and the kitchen and living room weren't much better. We had tried to make things better on our own, with pretty minimal success, so we knew we needed help.

+ -1 moreI'm very pleased with everything. Laura has contacts and ideas for virtually everything I wanted to get rid of -- from books to consigning furniture to a place to sell old silver. She gave me common sense ideas that are simple to implement but that had escaped me in the overwhelming task I have ahead of me to purge/organize and downsize. She's friendly and professional.
Description of Work: Laura helped me sort through a large unfinished storage area of my basement that had served as a catch-all for what became an enormous, unorganized mess. With an upcoming move, I wanted to get rid of all the junk but didn't know where to start. She also helped me figure out how to best organize and downsize for our move from a large home to a much smaller one.
