lawn mower repair
 + -1 moreI am still waiting to hear from D& R. I would never reccomend this company to anyone. They do not return calls and they are totally unreliable and I can not say anything about their work because so far they have charged me for work and no work has ever been done. My last contact with D&R was on 10/21/09 and the man who answered the phone has no recollection of any service ever being done to my mower.
Description of Work: D&R were called to my home because they were supposed to have fixed my riding mower. When I tried to start it, it still would not start. I called them back. A young gentleman came to my home after several phone calls were made, and he wanted a $100 deposit. I gave him his $100 in cash and have n0ot heard from them since. Now when I call the shop they say they have never heard of the young man who took my money. They said they have not been to my house since my initial call in April. Strange. Each time I called them, the young man answered their phone, and now they don't even know who I am talking about, but I am still out $100 and my mower is still broke. I called another company to do the work and they said the mower was never serviced and it had the wrong spark plug in it.

 + -1 moreThe first time I had them come to the house, they came to the house and fixed the mower. The second time it took several calls to have them come out and fix the mower, but they did. The third time I had them come and work on the mower, he was at my house for two hours before he decided he was unable to fix the mower. I gave him $100 to take the mower back to his shop to fix the mower, but he has not returned or taken the mower into his shop. I have now lost $100. He has continued to give me excusses as to why he can not give me the money back or why he cannot finish the work on my lawn mower. I assume he has caller ID and screens my calls. He did answer my call when I used my neighbor's phone.
Description of Work: I dealt with Steve who has worked on my mower three times.
