Windows Plus was great to work with. Steve did his best to negotiate with a difficult insurance company to get the hail damage on my roof covered. After months of effort, Steve eventually brought in a public adjuster to make the case. Long story short, we got almost enough for the full roof replacement and Steve was very reasonable with pricing to make sure we got what we needed done with minimal out-of-pocket cost. Paul took over from there and did a great job keeping me informed on timelines, what to expect, project updates, and even threw in some extra shingles in case damage occurred to ours and we wanted to have the same product on hand. Overall, we are very happy with Windows Plus. I'll update the review in the future if there is ever a problem with the roof that is not appropriately fixed but, at this point, I feel very comfortable that this will not be an issue. Thanks for doing a great job!

The deck looks great and the job was done according to their estimated schedule. They promptly addressed and small items we had on the punch list, and left the yard clean.

From beginning to end everything went flawless. Their sales person showed up on time, gave reasonable suggestions and offer very fair pricing for the job. The installer showed up a week later to take measurements and explained what he planned on doing and how he would do it. A month or so later the installer came out and completed the job as expected.

The service was awesome. They are phenomenal. They do awesome work.

They arrived on time as promised by a phone call the day before. The men worked cleanly, neatly and quickly with respect for my home and pets. They finished within the 6 hours as promised and left without any sign that work had been done other than the beautiful new facade. I would work with them any time. I am already planning my next job because this was so stress free.

Steve,the sales person was polite and not high pressure. Anthony and Chip, the installers,arrived on time.They were polite,efficient and cleaned up beautifully.I had 8 Okna brand Windows installed plus a 8 ft. Sliding patio door replaced. I llive on a 2nd floor with an inside stairwell and I know that it was a challenge to get the new sliding glass door up and old down.But all done no fuss or muss.

UPDATE: After posting this review, this company contacted me to fix the latch on my door and it appears they've truly fixed the problem this time. I still would have appreciated a better solution earlier on but let this be proof that if you provide an honest review on Angie's List, you will get a response! We have had multiple contractors complete projects on our home over the past year and have generally been very happy with the results. Windows Plus is the first company to have delivered results far below our expectations. Granted, they were able to undercut another bid we received for this project but in retrospect, I would have taken the higher bid if it meant getting a quality installation. The first issue was with the salesperson. When I explained that I wanted to take the information he provided and compare it to another bid, he seemed very unwilling to leave without my making a commitment. I felt his tactics were very pressuring. The door we received looks great but after only 6 months, the paint on the doorjam was noticeably peeling. But worse, we've had several problems with the knobset installation. First, the latch would not catch the strike plate, which meant the door would blow open from a strong breeze. Imagine working in your backyard and coming inside to find your front door wide open. We've since called three times and now have another problem - the knob sticks to the point where the door feels locked. We run a business out of our home and you can imagine how disconcerting it is when a customer thinks you're closed in the middle of a business day. As I said, this is the first time we've been this disappointed with a job this way. Having already called someone out to fix the issue several times, I've given up and might call an independent handyman to fix it. For how much a front door costs, I expected a better installation.

First: visited showroom only to see the Okna patio door I wanted. A WP salesman, Warren, in the recent past, quoted a price above my budget. WP owner, Ed Lancaster, approached me in the showroom ... saying he could do better at $1690 by cutting out the commission in Warren's higher quote. Is that for a 8'x6' door, I asked. "Ohhh, I thought it was smaller?" ...price became $1843. I signed his contract for it; eventually, giving my credit card # for a deposit. Next: employee, Chip came to inspect the job; noting common replacement of decayed threshold wood with Azek ( a waterproof board ). Next: secretary, Debbie, informs Ed is "at the shore" that Warren claimed extensive work on threshold would require extra man hours and higher price ... let me know cost, later. I disagreed ... sent detailed photos of the door ... no "concrete to be replaced" ... no extended man hours. She said she'd show the photos to Ed. The price was increased anyway; no reply to photo proof. The price ended up being more than another company that was trying not to engage due to unethical business practices. Nice people, BUT it appears WP is not the honest company I had hoped for. NO DEAL I stand by everything in this report as fact.

No high pressure sales. Love the quality of the products used. The installers were very professional and courteous. They answered any questions or concerns we may have had. They always cleaned up before leaving. We have already recommended them to friends and they were hired to install a window and sliding door at their home.

It turned out really well. It wasn't cheap but it was worth it. We went with windows plus because the other contractors that we looked at, they were a different brand of windows but after we did our research, the ones with windows plus were of a better quality. I remember, initially, they were supposed to come either the end of September or the beginning of October and they had to re-schedule because they were a little behind with all their projects. I remember that, that could only be the negative thing.

We did our homework and received three bids from local providers. Then I ran into my next door neighbor on the street and asked who did her home window replacement. She couldn't have been happier with Window's Plus, so I gave them a call and got a fourth bid. They were competitive, but they worked with us to bring the price down even further. They installers arrived yesterday at 9:00am and left at 3:00. Other than having a beautiful new sliding door and a huge bay window, you would never know that they were here. They were polite, respectful and clean! Any new window/door would be better than what we had, but the overall installation experience was positive. It couldn't have gone any smoother.

Incredible. I would recommend to anyone. The installation crew was professional, CLEAN (house was left immaculate), installed right the first time. Would use them again, and we will when we replace our storm and entry doors

Our experience with them was good. The cost was good. The product was good and their craftsmanship was good. We had an original window at our house and they replaced that with three double hang windows that are about 6-feet in length.

When I called Windows Plus they quickly came out to provide a written estimate and their sales representative was very knowledgeable and courteous. On the scheduled day the installers showed up on time, did an excellent job, and left the site clean. Overall I am satisfied with the quality of the windows and the workmanship of the installation and I would use this provider again I would recommend some improvement in the area of responsiveness and customer communication. Rather than me having to call repeatedly to inquire on the status of the windows, which were delayed by the manufacturer, I would have preferred to be contacted by Windows Plus proactively to let me know that the windows would be delayed by a month. Once the windows arrived I would have preferred to receive a phone call to schedule the installation date rather than me calling Windows Plus to inquire on possible installation dates.

We had an old, cracked, and inefficient window we planned to replace. We got a quote from Pella, and a quote from Windows Plus, and we went with Windows Plus. After committing to them, we had unsettling news from one of our neighbors - who was unhappy with her experience with them. We were slightly dreading the install date as a result. The installers that came out were extremely courteous and professional; the window they installed is *so* much better than what we had before. We have lots of other windows we want to replace - and Windows Plus will be at the top of our list for vendors.

Windows Plus came highly recommended to me when I was shopping around for a company to take care of removing the sub-par stucco from my home and installing siding. I narrowed the decision to 3 companies who came recommended and I trusted to do the job, but Windows Plus estimate was approximately 5-10% cheaper than the other quotes, and that ended up being the deciding factor. Shortly after I agreed to work with the company we had a contract to start work in 2 months and the job was started within a week of the estimated start time Overall, I was very pleased with the exterior work that was accomplished. All the craftsmen working on my home seemed very knowledgeable and took care when completing the job. They worked at a pace that I was happy with...they weren't rushing through the job, and also weren't delaying...the daily progress seemed just right. Typically the workers arrived around 9:30 a.m. and worked hard until dark each weekday. Every now and then, they worked over a weekend day if they had gotten behind due to weather. I was very comfortable with the project supervisor, Paul, and the lead craftsman, Pavel. They kept me informed of the progress and were always available to answer any questions or address any of my concerns. It was evident throughout the project that Pavel was extremely good at what he did and that my house was in good hands. The stucco removal was a tedious, messy job and took some time to accomplish, but was done with care. The siding went up methodically and the trim around the windows was precisely accomplished. They were good about explaining where kickouts and flashing were needed so I would not have to worry about any future water damage. Jimmy did the masonry work, which included new stucco on the chimney, flagstones on the chimney shoulders, repairing the stone walkway, repointing a number of areas on the facade. I was very pleased with the quality of his work as well. It was evident he has been doing this type of work for years. The only minor complaint I had at the jobsite, was that it was occasionally less than tidy after work was finished for the day or over the weekend. Once I brought my complaint to their attention, more care was taken to keep the areas around my home neat. I ran into a few minor issues with the company office. The contract was much smaller and less-detailed than others that provided me quotes, which initially worried me, but not enough to go with one of my alternate choices. A few times items caused some misunderstandings that would have been alleviated with a more detailed scope of work. I also had to repeatedly ask for prices on work/items that were to begin or asked for updated contracts. In the end, a few of my accents were comp'd when they couldn't provide me a price in time. In general, the paperwork and communication with the office could have been better. The final price was fairly close to the original estimate, but went over a bit based on damage (expected) and unanticipated difficulties with the masonry. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the product and quality of work, which is what mattered most. The house looks great and my yard and landscaping was nearly unscathed by the work. I would definitely recommend Windows Plus for any similar jobs.

Very quick response to the request for quote for a total window replacement on a 30yr log house. Quoted on what was requested; didn't try to sell me a different product, though the sales rep made me aware that they offered a full portfolio. Quote was prepared and sent quickly, and was very competitive. The quoting process was much faster with Windows Plus compared to other providers. After quote was accepted, an approximate 6 week lead time was estimated. My only complaint - delivery took much longer, 10 weeks. Windows Plus was apologetic about the delay. Windows and doors were installed on one of the coldest days of the year. A highly experience pair of gentlemen performed the installation quickly (2 days) and very efficiently, arriving on time with minimal interruption of my day. Even before final sealing of the windows, I felt the huge improvement in warmth. Final sealing and staining of the frames was completed to my satisfaction. The completed project was money well spent. With the on-set of cold weather, I feel no drafts. My thermostat is set lower than usual yet the house is warmer than ever. The appearance of my home is enhanced and I know appreciable cost savings on fuel are coming. My only regret is that I didn't call Windows Plus years ago. I am a very satisfied customer.

Windows Plus were great to work with. We brought in multiple companies to get quotes on replacing all of the siding and windows on one side of our 3 story row home. Windows Plus came in with the best price. Working with these guys was great. They kept in regular contact with us so we always knew what the status of the project was. They also began exactly when they said they would and finished within the time frame that they gave us, despite running into unexpected problems with water damaged wood that needed to be replaced. The workers were very polite and kept things as clean as possible while doing this kind of work. They also helped complete some minor handy-man type projects around the house, including patching up some mortar between bricks and helping to snake wires through the wall for outdoor security cameras. We had a great experience with Windows Plus and would recommend them to anyone looking to do window or siding work.

My husband and I received 6 quotes from various contractors and companies for our 26 windows. Windows Plus was in the middle with price, but their quality and expertise was above the rest. It took a little longer than expected to have the project completed because of vacations and scheduling, but I was in contact the whole time with the company, so I never felt forgotten. I was amazed how quickly and efficiently the two installers worked. They took down curtains and vaccumed after each room. They took all of the old window parts with them, so I did not need to get a dumpster for disposal. I had many questions as they worked, and they were happy to take the time and answer them. I also left them a note about a part of the aluminum capping that I didn't like how it was installed, and when I returned from work, it was fixed! The project took about 3 days to complete. My house looks like a new home. The burgundy capping is a beautiful color. Now, I am hoping for a cold cold window, so I can see what these windows are made of! I am anticipating a major cut in my oil bill for heating. Time will tell. From start to finish, Windows Plus was professional, helpful, and pleasant to work with. I would definitely use them again for future projects

The work was done in two stages.The old brick wall had to come down and a new one built. This was done in just a few days. This was a fairly large area. The siding work and gutter were done next. we had to wait for the windows to come in and then that work was done in about two days. Everyone in the office and on the job made me fell confident that they could job. Very cheerful and professional staff and contract managers. I would absolutely use them again.

I previously had Windows Plus at my old home and was very pleased with their work, prices and installers. We recently purchased a new house and it had cheap builder windows and doors so we of course called windows plus. Anthony and Chip installed all new windows and doors at the new house and were a pleasure to work with. Again they were very neat and clean and got the job done in 2 days. Everyone I dealt with at the company is very helpful and professional. We are glad that we chose windows plus again, and will use them for any other projects in the future.

Installation went well, they were done in two days. Clean up was good. I called them about a few things that need to be fixed and they called me back to find out what was wrong they said they would let me know when they would be out to take care of it. That was about a month ago . I have not heard a thing. I guess I have to call again. I would have given them A+ if it wasn't for that.

It's nice to know there is still contractors who care about getting the job done right. They initially used the wrong color capping, but quickly corrected the problem and the install now looks great. They did fail to use a drop cloth properly during the install and left a mess. They offered to send someone to clean up, but I declined the offer and had to borrow a pressure washer to clean the patio. On the inside I was planning on replacing the carpet anyway. They were also approximately 3 weeks pass the agreed date to have the work performed.
