Description of Work: They did our windows and our door. I’ve had them do other stuff and I have recommended them to over people. They are phenomenal and the installers did a great job. I would give them an A ++!

Description of Work: Replacement windows and new front door. Went well. They were responsive, quick and clean. We were hoping to have less drafts in the cold months with our new windows. It's starting to get colder and we still seem to have some draft. Will give it a few more weeks before I call them.

Description of Work: I had about 24 windows replaced. The salesman was nice, not high pressure like a lot of other companies. Price was very good. The windows seem solid. | |Instillation was scheduled a few months out. The installers showed up on time and did all the windows in one day. They come back day 2 to do the aluminum work. The installers were very nice and worked very clean. | |The issue I had and the reason I would not recommend them is that they put nails in the face (not sure that is the proper term) of the window sill which leave less then a clean look (inside & outside windows) and I am concerned could allow water to get in. This was not on the windows that I had before and NOT all of the windows they installed have the nails on the face, just on the sides like I thought they would do. I did speak with the office manager and she was very nice and they sent the installer back out, but he just informed me that this is the way they do windows. | |If this does not bother you, I would absolutely use them, but for me it is a deal breaker.

Description of Work: Replaced four sliding glass doors. It went very well. Installers are prompt, efficient, professional and personable. Product quality is good and appearance is pleasing. | |My only comment is of,a minor nature. We were told it would take six to eight weeks for delivery. Apparently that is from factory to vendor. At twelve weeks we called for update. At that point, they scheduled installation for one week after our call. So, keep an eye on your dates: you may have to follow up with them. | |On the whole, we are very pleased with our experience and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Windows Plus replaced 25 original wood windows and aluminum storm windows/screens with OKNA vinyl windows. We could not be happier with both the windows and the installation. The OKNA windows, at least in my online research, are considered among the best vinyl windows, and the craftsman who installed the windows was very experienced, very knowledgeable, a virtuoso with a caulking gun, and very careful to avoid damaging any molding he needed to remove and replace. He also completely removed all the old windows and debris. |Among other things, Windows Plus went to some trouble to attend to some details important to us. They matched our existing, dark green, wood-grained capping, for example, whereas some other contractors were going to simply use a flat white capping. The marketing person had a sample window with him, complete with a cross section and other details whereas others either had no sample at all or were unable to illustrate some important details of the window construction. Another contractor declined to provide two "cottage" style windows for the front of our house, the cottage style windows having a top section of different height than the bottom section. All in all just a very, very good experience. Thank you Windows Plus! |

Description of Work: We really like the Okna doors we purchased. As far as Windows Plus the price was reasonable but at one point the salesman quoted us a different and higher price than the original quote. He did sell us the doors at the original quoted price. One of the selling points was that they had experienced installers that had been with the company for a long time and that they would provide any service as needed. However the installers had problems and were unable to adjust the doors to move correctly. They had to contact Okna who did after several days send someone out to adjust the doors. The women in the office at Windows Plus were all very professional and helpful when we had issues. Took some time to work out the kinks. As far as professionalism...we had our alarm company come to rewire our new doors. The technician had to contact our salesman at Window Plus to ask a question regarding the structure of the doors before proceeding. I was standing in the room at the time the call was made and could hear the salesman on the phone. Don't know how the technician from the alarm company maintained his composure because the salesman tone and manner were rude. The technician did not want to do something during wiring that could potentially void the warranty on the doors. I appreciated his efforts to look out for us. I did not appreciate the snarkiness of the salesman. It was embarrassing and I had to apologize for his rudeness. Highly doubt we would us this company again. If we did I wouldn't work with the same salesman.

Description of Work: I saw their positive reviews here on AL and I called; the receptionist immediately determined that my repair could be more quickly and inexpensively done elsewhere (they specialize in larger projects) and had a list of recommended businesses at hand so I could immediately call elsewhere.

Description of Work: Some of our many windows were rotting, and the issue was whether to repair or replace them. Windows Plus sent John Thomas. He was impressive to speak with. I was persuaded that he had windows of excellent quality (OKNA) and an excellent installer. He showed me how energy efficient the new windows were compared to what we have. His quote included a discount for Angie's List, and was surprisingly reasonable. I eventually decided to repair the windows to save money in the near term, but may contact them again, and would certainly recommend them.

Description of Work: They removed some old plywood sheeting and all the old shingles from the roof of my 2 story, 4 bedroom and 1 1/2 bathroom house. He installed new plywood sheeting and shingles on the roof and new siding to all sides of the house. The work took about 3 weeks to complete.

Description of Work: I HAD THIRTEEN WINDOWS REPLACED IN THE HOUSE. THAT WAS A COMPLETE JOB. THEY TOOK OUT OLD WINDOWS AND HAULED THEM AWAY.
