My wife had some silver pieces of her mother’s. She took it to him and he appraised them if the current market prices had a good price compared to other jewelers that she had taken them to. He took the pieces, looked them over and he approached the wholesalers in Philadelphia that typically give good quotes. He got me some prices and I sold the pieces to the dealers in Philadelphia through him and he collected commission. He was actually able to re-work on one of the pieces into a different piece for my wife. He is very knowledgeable. He has good contacts. He is a pleasure to deal with. He is a nice local guy and not a corporate person. He is pretty flexible; the one piece on which I didn’t like what people were offering me, he was able to rework into a different piece because he is actually a silversmith and he could it do himself instead of shipping it off to somebody else. I and my wife were happy with the option that he gave. I have been to him couple of more times to buy some other pieces; to buy a piece of jewel for my daughter for Christmas, my wife has been there and I had taken a picture of my Stratocaster guitar and based on it he made that into a ring.
