Initial contact very professional, complete and descriptive. Very punctual to arrive. Able to quickly narrow in on the best type of fabric and pattern to suit use. We did the chairs with the back in a pattern fabric and the front in a solid- at John and Carolyns recommendation. They look stunning. Delivery was exactly 3 weeks as promised, again very punctual, professional, cordial. Cushion work was perfect as was pattern placement. I wouldn't consider anyone else given the impressive results. Follow up May 2015. I neede some fabric samples to color match against; called John and he had them in my hands within several days.

John from Rosen Interiors was superb to work with. He spent hours with me discussing and showing me many different types of fabric for our dining room chairs. The finished product was outstanding ?the chairs look fantastic. They looked so good, we had a matching table runner made from the same material. His services were extremely professional and I will definitely use him again.

John Laye responded promptly to my phone message and we agreed on a date for him to come to our home. The appointment went very smoothly. John made some excellent suggestions. We picked out the shades and color, then John placed the order. Order was completed in less than 2 weeks. Michael (the installer for Robert Rosen) did a quick and neat installation. We are very happy with the shades - they raise and lower very easily, giving us as much light or privacy as we desire.

The work they performed was of EXQUISITE QUALITY AND COMPLETED ON TIME AND UNDER BUDGET during the pressured days leading up to Christmas. The owner of the business, John, was at first reluctant to take on a custom job right before the holiday, but did agree and made multiple trips to my home to measure the sofa frame precisely as I constructed it, then worked with me in person and on the phone to make sure that the fabric patterns were matched perfectly. At the outset, I had told him that the sofa was part of a larger Christmas gift and that it absolutely had to be completed by Christmas. John arrived at my home with the cushions, perfectly fitted, on a Sunday afternoon 3 days before. We could not have had a better or more satisfying experience with a craftsperson. Then, just when he had me celebrating the completion of the job in time and ecstatic with the product of his work, he asked for less money than we had originally agreed because we had adjusted the job slightly along the way. Integrity too.

John Laye, the owner and head designer was punctual and pleasant to work with. He was meticulous in taking all measurements and made recommendations for types of blinds for the various rooms in our home that were to have them installed. His design team created a spectacular cornice for my office using fabric that I provided. The end result exceeded my expectations. Caroline and Michael arrived together to install both the blinds and the cornice. Every window looks "finished" thanks to the craftsmanship and care provided by the design and installation team at Robert Rosen Interiors. I would highly recommend them!

John was extremely professional from my first call on a Saturday afternoon. He came to my home quickly & spent as much time as I needed to pick out what I wanted. His recommendations were perfect. In fact, after I picked out my fabric a new one came to him which he thought would be perfect & it was! This delayed my job a few weeks which I was disappointed about until I saw the end result. Beautiful - well worth the wait. I love the Odeyssey shades which I never saw before, & my valances are so pretty. Installer Mike was also professional & very nice. I would recommend Rosen in a minute.

John came to our home and inspected the target chairs. He brought lots of fabric choices but expertly guided us in the right direction. John put together an estimate rapidly. Once I accepted his proposal, he picked up the chairs within a few days. The chairs were returned within two to three weeks. Best part, they are gorgeous!

It went very well. We were able to choose colors that suit our personality and style. One set of valances was prepared with pleats that perfectly set off the repeat in the pattern. There was one minor problem with a set of striped curtains that were turned the wrong way, but John accepted total responsibility and completely redid the curtains. We needed blinds that would cut as much light as possible, but still let us see our great view and these are excellent. Thanks to all who worked so hard to give us such a perfect finished project!

I had immediate call back and was able to meet for selections in an extremely timely manner which was appreciated because I already engaged the services of a painting contractor.

The experience was fabulous and the 2 reupholstered chairs are exquisite. I was helped to select a fabric that kept the chairs classic but not stodgy which is important to me and the look in my house. The chairs add a lot of personality and verve to the living room, and work beautifully with the colorful Karastan oriental they sit on. Next will be to add two custom pillows to the neutral sofa which is opposite the chairs. I had complete confidence in the work and I cannot say enough about how beautiful the re upholstery is.....the chairs look better than new, and the fabric pattern is masterfully matched on all aspects of the chair. The upholsterer is a genius. The business owner was attentive to my order, and stayed in contact about delivery etc. I cannot say enough about the quality of the work. Also, Rosen Interiors will be honest with you if the furniture item is not worth the cost of the project. I found Rosen Interiors on both Angie's List and the Houzz website where one of their projects was featured. I was definitely attracted to the well deserved customer feedback. Use them and you will not be disappointed. If I could attach a photo here I would!

John responded promptly to our initial inquiry, came twice to our home to bring many books of samples for us to look at, and was very patient as well as very helpful in providing suggestions that we might not have otherwise considered. He kept in touch via email, sending photos of possible fabric choices and responding to our questions. He coordinated the timing of the job with our vacation dates so that we would be without our furniture for the shortest possible amount of time. Best of all, they did a wonderful job, including rejuvenating the loose pillows on the sofa and side chair. The workmanship is excellent. In fact I thing the pieces look better than new. John is also a charming person, so dealing with him was an absolute pleasure. Since we had receive a strong recommendation from a friend-of-a-friend when we were looking for someone to do this work, we did not shop around for price comparisons. Therefore I can't really make any educated comment on the price of the job. We had hoped it might be less, but I am delighted with the results and convinced that we received what we paid for. I would recommend Robert Rosen Interiors very strongly!

Caroline came to our condo and assisted us in choosing blinds and fabrics for valences for 7 windows. She was patient and helpful and pointed out fabrics that we might not have chosen but ended up liking. Although they had to reschedule the installation one time due to illness, they informed us in advance, rescheduled promptly and arrived on time. Michael was professional and installed the blinds and valences expertly. Everything looks great and we are pleased with how our windows now look.

They did a great job helping me pick out fabrics and coming up with the right look for the house. They were professional and great to work with.

I called John and he was able to come the same day for a consultation. Due to the colors in the open floor plan we had created, I was having trouble coming up with ideas to match the feel I wanted to create. When we talked to John, he immediately came up with fabric swatches, the 1st of which I chose. He counseled us on the benefits and draw backs of some of my ideas and in the end, my husband and I came up with a concept that we are thrilled with. John, Michael, and Caroline were always prompt and on time. They were enthusiastic about our job and when a bit of trouble arose they quickly resolved the problem. We will continue to use Robert Rosen Interiors and recommend them highly to everyone we know. As to the issue of price, they were worth every penny we spent as they eliminated the confusion, trial and error, leg work, and headache of instillation, not to mention the solid consultation of experts. I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism and care we received. Thanks again to John and his team for coming up with practical solutions to my dilemmas and executing them perfectly.

From the first phone contact with John this was an outstanding experience. John is a very pleasant gentlemen. He provided samples and advice on fabric and shades. His associate Caroline was also a great help with her experience in design. Our love seat has been in our family for many years and did not know where to start to find an upholsterer. We used someone else for chairs previously and were disappointed. I am so very pleased with not only the beautiful quality of the work and service but how John kept in touch with scheduling. Our work was done on time and shades installed in a timely manner by Mike. Bottom line can't say enough of how good to find old-fashioned quality and professional service from these very nice people.

John initially came and was very prompt with us. He is a consummate salesman and very personable and easy to deal with. At his first visit we made tentative plans for a set of two-story window treatments with gathered pleats; he showed us some samples and returned later that week with a more thorough selection of samples from which we selected draperies and shades. It took around 4-5 weeks for the shades and drapes to come in and he did keep us up to speed on the progress and came in with members of his team including the installer Michael, Caroline, and an additional installer in early January 2013 for the installation process. Unfortunately, after this installation we were not completely happy because the drapes in the middle four panels had fewer pleats than we had expected. The side panels, which were narrower, were falling better, but were also creased from the fabric having been folded previously. Per John's recommendation we waited for a few weeks to see if the fall would come better but ultimately when John and Caroline came into photograph the drapes we had to ask for a remedy. We asked for Michael to return to steam out the drapes and to try to get more uniform gathered pleats in the middle panels. After Michael came and spent a great deal of time trying to form pleats it was determined that there was insufficient fabric in the center pleats to obtain the look we were going for (when purchasing the panels we were sold on our pattern based on the idea that it would have a nice gathering of pleats, but once the centrals panel got installed they were clearly not wide enough and the fabric was falling flat). We then contacted John to figure out a way to alleviate the problem with the curtains. He was very professional about this interaction and agreed to remove the problematic panels and we agreed on a price to have another half width of fabric added to them. Within a week Mike and Caroline returned for the installation of the panels and spent a good amount of time making sure it was to our liking. We are very happy with the end result. The only thing that gives us pause is that we wish that we had known at the start that wider panels would be required for the middle panels for the gathered look we were expecting. Our current drapes have a seam between the fabric panels that were attached together. According to a relative who does lots of stitching, had the fabric been joined instead, a seam would not been visible. This would have obviously been the optimal outcome for us. We are not sure that it was initially a good idea to stick to one bolt of fabric if ulltimately the look was affected for such a substantial investment. All this being said, we are very happy with how John remedied the problem with our current drapes. If we do plan for any additional drapes we will be as thorough as possible in understanding the planning process and exactly what we are getting. All too rare is an encounter with a service provider who lives up to every high standard of service, quality, and value?.but that experience is the norm for Rosen Interiors. John, Caroline and Mike truly make the experience of designing and installing drapes something that is memorable both for their design talent and their highest quality service. I can truly say that this was the best service experience I have ever had! I want more windows so they can come back!

I called John and told him what I was interested in. He set up an appointment to come to our house and brought numerous sample books. He showed us several fabrics - some which were close to what was currently on the chairs and fabrics which were completely different. We originally thought one of the samples was a little too bold (as what was currently on the chairs was very plain). However, after the more we looked at it and saw how it complemented the existing colors and patterns in the room, we decided we liked it. Once the fabric came it, the cutter came to the house, cut and pinned the fabric and then it was taken to the seamstress. John and his assistant delivered the slipcovers and ottomon cover today and we are absolutely thrilled with them. This fabric has made the entire room look fresh and new. The pattern adds such interest and complements the sofa, color of walls, pictures and lamp in the room. These are custom fittled slipcovers with a zipper down the back so it will be easy to remove these for cleaning. The workmanship is perfect. John was a pleasure to work with. His assistance in selecting the fabric was most helpful. The person who cut the fabric and pinned it was also a pleasure to work. Today John and his assistant came, put the slipcovers on, and made sure I was 100% satisfied before leaving. I would defintely recommend this company to anyone considering having slipcovers made. These are custom fitted - not the ones you get in the stores already made that never look right! This was well worth the investment.

The curtains are spectacular . I was unsure of what I wanted as I have an unusually sized bay window , as well as a kitchen door I was given ideas for the design as well as the fabric and they are stunning . I am very happy with everything.

Quality of work was excellent. Work was done on time. I would use Rosen Interiors again for this type of work even though price might be a little high because work was so good and the chairs looked fabulous. You get what you pay for!

John was wonderful to work with. He is engaging and knowledgeable. His ideas were creative, he had great suggestions on fabrics, and he was very responsive to our ideas and concerns. He was punctual for appointments and he explained things thoroughly. Michael's installation was done on schedule, with great care and professionalism. The shades look beautiful, with exceptional craftsmanship, and the new window treatments have enhanced and updated the appearance of the rooms. After the installation we had some final questions regarding the style of the shades. John and Michael both came to our home and answered the questions to our satisfaction. Based on our experience we will certainly call Robert Rosen Interiors for any future drapery or upholstery needs. We look forward to working with them again.

They were amazing to work with. I called and talked with someone who said John was out of the country but I was to send John an email so that he would have my contact info. John called me immediately and said he'd be returning soon, so we set up an appointment for him to see the sofa cushions that needed to be re-stuffed. It truly was amazing how quickly I heard from him. Great customer service! John came over and was so personable and a joy to talk with. We talked about how he could bring life back to my custom sofa. Within 2 weeks - which was exactly the promised timeframe - I had my beautiful cushions, and they were delivered by a warm gentleman who also displayed excellent service. After the delivery, it was a wonderful surprise to receive a call from John ensuring I was satisfied with their work. It's so rare when a business does this. I HIGHLY recommend Robert Rosen Interiors!

John was delightful to work with. We had a very collaborative design session! John found the most beautiful fabric which looks amazing in the kitchen and gathering room. Funny story...I'm always looking for different. When John brought the fabric in and I selected it, we discussed the valances and as we got to the long panels, I looked at him and said think we can use this wrong side out? He said, I was thinking of suggesting that to you but didn't want you to think I was daft!! Well...they are absolutely gorgeous! John will be covering the dining room windows next and he is working with yet another crazy design scheme of mine! Can't wait to see them come to life too!!! Craftsmanship is excellent, fabric selections are extremely broad, installation was flawless. Highly recommend! Unable to attach good pictures because sunlight is to bright.

I gave them an impossibly short timeframe and they met it with beautiful results at a reasonable price. John rocks!

I provided the materials and only paid for the labor. It is hard to find anyone to do slip-covering and he did a very fine job. He was able to complete the job within four to six weeks and the product was delivered according to the quote. I am very pleased with the result.
