We hired this company to install an ac unit into our existing oil heater. It worked great all summer, but when winter came our heat didn't work. Frank came back out and insisted several parts were broken, and we needed a new thermostat. After calling customer service for the thermostat, it turns out they had just wired/programmed it wrong. Also when he came to replace parts on unit, I had documented what was there before. So after he left I noticed wires had moved location and that he only replaced half of the A/C ready kit that he charged us for. When I contact him to talk to him about it, he became irate and cursed at me over the phone to never call him about my heater again. This summer our a/c didn't come on, so we had him back out again. He told us several relay's and the fan motor control were burnt out and needed to be replaced and he would get us numbers on them. He then disappeared for a month and refused to answer my wife's calls or texts. We decided to have another company come out and check his work. In two hours the new technician diagnosed and fixed the problem. It was all bad wiring done by frank and his company, He told me there were lose connection, missing wires and wires that were plain just not connected to anything or the wrong thing. I would not suggest even having frank or his company look at your unit for fear of what he may be doing. Less

I can't say enough about the team at Old Skool HVAC. I learned of this organization from a close friend who had work done and recommended them. Frank is a great guy. On time, professional, knowledgeable, and his team is a reflection of this as well. They were always on time, on schedule, clean, and very personable. They finished our job a little early, and during the first heat wave just about week or two ago, our house never felt better. Great service, quality, and pricing. It's funny, with central AC, you never really know that it's hot out until you leave the house and come home. It's during this first transition that I realized how quiet and effective of a system that was installed. If you are looking for any form of HVAC work in your home of business, I'd recommend contacting this group of professionals.

These guys are the best. we moved into a new house back in June and had the hot water heater die after a few weeks. Frank was out the next day with a new hot water heater, at a excellent price. Both my wife and I were extremely happy with the work done, the price we were given and the customer service we got. Since then we have had two other 'emergencies' (air conditioner/leaky pipe in bathroom) and these guys came out right away and fixed the problems at excellent prices. Each time we had them at our house, they were very detailed about what the problem was and how they were going to fix it. Our HVAC is 25 years old and on it last legs. We've already asked Frank about it, and as soon as we are able to, we'll be calling Old Skool for our new one.

They only charged me $3,000 for the furnace. I am glad I did because it has made a huge difference in the air quality here.

They only charged me $3,000 for the furnace. I am glad I did because it has made a huge difference in the air quality here. They came out yesterday. They said they would be back for the winter servicing. I have an oil backup so they were out for a number of hours yesterday. They will service it for the next 10 years and it is under warranty for 10 years too. They are great guys. Frank Ford is the owner of it. He and his guys do excellent work and really care. Their prices are as good as anybody. The price depends on what unit you get so it is hard to say. These guys are terrific. I would say if you needed a new heat pump or furnace they should be number one on your list.

We found Frank on craigslist and I did a lot of homework before we decided on him. He promptly came out for an initial estimate. He could have not have been any more understanding or nicer. He listen to what we needed and then gave me several different options. No pressure sale B.S. He knows his stuff inside and out. Gave a deposit and a week later the work was done. Everything looks great. Only time will tell about the unit but Frank has made a customer for life. I never write these reviews but felt that the negative review he already had did not warrant his overall services.

contacted him to install a steam boiler. He went out and gave me an estimate and said that he would install it. I confirmed twice that he would install the unit. After the date that passed for him to pick up the unit from the warehouse he was a no show and the unit was still at the warehouse. I called him numerous times (10). He never called back or contacted me why he did not pick up the unit. I would not use this guy, he seemed nice enough and honest enough on the phone but he is a big flake and totally unreliable
