Spoke with the owner, David, who offered some suggestions to try for free first. After that, he came out same day and fixed the problem. Nice guy with reasonable prices.

I called Dave at LeakFix Plumbing and he promptly returned my call. We set an appointment date and time, and Dave called me when he was 20 minutes out from my house. He then arrived right on time, as promised. He replaced the traps in my upstairs double sink with a heavier gauge metal and then corrected the drainage in the tub that had not been working properly since the install and a visit by the original contractor. He patiently explained to me what he was doing throughout the process, including the internals of the tub trip lever. He tested each aspect of his work to be certain that everything was functioning properly. He laid down towels in the vanity cabinet so that nothing got wet and put down a drop cloth to protect the floor tile in the bathroom. Because he and Angie's List were running a special, I saved money on labor on this visit. This is the 2nd time that I have used LeakFix Plumbing and intend to call Dave in the spring so that he can replace both a shut off valve and the water line that runs from my basement to the rear of my house. And he still has a terrific Dublin accent. :)

This is a great company. We'd previously been loyal to a different plumber, but they didn't respond to our calls to install our new toilet. We hired Leakfix instead, and Dave was awesome. He came out within a really reasonable amount of time, was prompt to the minute, and was clean, friendly, and knowledgeable. His prices cannot be beat, especially with his very high quality of work. He is definitely going to be our go-to plumber from now on.

David Downes was very responsive, professional and personable. He gave me lots of good information and advice and there were no hidden charges or added- on charges even when I asked him to check another item in my home.

David was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. We appreciated him taking the time to offer multiple solutions, including fixing the issue with our budget in mind. Price was very competitive as the whole job took about 6 hours. He came out for a free estimate and provided it the next day, with the work scheduled a few days later. He did a great job and even fixed a leaky faucet for us at no charge.

Dave came in and fixed it and also used a stronger sealant to keep the toilet in place. He also gave us a quote on another potential project. He was extremely responsive, on time for the set appointment, and cleaned up after himself. Will recommend him to friends and clients.

David from Leakfix Plumbing contacted me shortly after I purchased the $99 for 2-hours of plumbing work deal from Angie's List. HIs first opening wasn't for a while, but we stayed in touch throughout and a couple days before the scheduled service he checked in to confirm the appointment. On the day of the appointment, he arrived right at the beginning of his 30-minute arrival window, and proceeded to get right to work. The tub didn't have an access panel, so the job required him to enter our crawl space in order to gain access to the leaky PVC piping. Less than two hours later, he had finished the job, and now we have a working tub. He was fantastic to work with, and I'd recommend him highly.

Extremely happy with the experience. David was professional, quick to respond to all my questions, and delivered high quality work at a great price. We asked his opinion on a water heater that we had issues with even though he wasn't hired for that and instead of taking advantage of the opportunity, he ended up giving us some advice that saved us hundreds of dollars. We will definitely be using him for all our plumbing needs in the future.

The plumber called me about 45 minutes prior to his arrival to confirm that he would see me at the scheduled appointment. He did arrive on time, and was very professional and courteous. I had explained what I needed in writing prior to his arrival, so he immediately went to each bathroom to confirm with me the work I had requested. He was able to fix all the issues I had mentioned, and explained the reason why the incidents had occurred and how he corrected the problems. After he was finished, both bathrooms were left as clean as when he had begun, with no debris or evidence (except much better water pressure and efficiently flushing toilets!) that any work had been done. I was very impressed by David's technical skills, efficiency, professionalism, courtesy, and pleasant personality. I will definitely call him again when I need plumbing services, and will recommend him to my friends.

Dave responded to my request promptly. He was very professional and his work was impeccable. So happy to have found a reliable plumber.

I'd like to acknowledge the service performed by Dave Downes of LeakFix Plumbing in Media, PA. I needed to replace my leaking kitchen faucet, paper-thin corroding drain lines beneath the sink, and a funky copper connection at the soil line in my basement. Dave responded quickly to my phone call, came out and carefully explained the nature of the work and options that were available, and offered a reasonable price. His excellent recommendations on Angie's List matched the quality of the work and materials that he used. Plus, at no extra charge, you get to enjoy his Dublin accent. I will use Dave again and recommend him to my neighbors and friends.

Every thing went extremely well. When I spoke with Dave about replacing the garbage disposal he suggested looking at another brand that was a little more expensive but much quieter. He was absolutely correct. This disposal is very quiet. Thanks Dave for the advice. Look forward to using Dave again for my next plumbing job.

Dave was simply amazing. He was very quick to respond back to me and scheduled an appointment to perform the work the very next day! He also gave me a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way and showed up on time. His work was thorough - he took great care to make sure the faucet was installed properly and checked to make sure there were no leaks. He was also very professional, and a really nice person who is genuinely committed to serving his customers. I would readily use his services in the future!

I highly recommend Leakfix Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs....... brand new work, remodeling, assessing and fixing issues, making recommendations for innovative solutions, providing estimates, repair / installation of water heaters, repair / installation of toilets, sewer line issues, etc. The service was performed in a very courteous and very professional manner. My home was as clean when workers left as it was when they arrived. I also felt very safe and secure having them in my home ....I did not feel the need to stay in the room they were currently working in. They were also extremely pleasant to my elderly father...that followed them around to "help" ;) They came on time - as scheduled - and promptly set to work. The workers are very knowledgeable. Up to date on traditional plumbing needs as well as latest and greatest new technologies. All of my needs and issues were 100% addressed and I am 100% happy with all of the results. For new work - I was provided options of varying price ranges. Never once did I feel pressured to spend more than I had allocated in my budget for the particular project. I have had much work done in my house over the years -- from many different types of contractors. I understand that when you start to do house work -- unexpected "issues" / "challenges" arise.......and drive up required work and associated cost. The estimate provided by Leakfix had to be one of the most precise and accurate that I have received in a long time.......Additionally - when something unexpected arose it was immediately communicated to me. All I can summarize with is....... we are having Leakfix come back to do more new work for us !! Try them out - you won't be disappointed!

Dave was very prompt, professional, and courteous. He did an excellent and clean job. He also had some very helpful recommendations when I asked him about my outside hose. I will definitely use him again in the future.

This is our 2nd time using Leakfix Plumbing and it went great again. David is so easy to work with and also when he realized the vanity we purchased would not fit on top of our original cabinets (I only measured for the width and forgot to measure the depth), he was able to come up with a quick solution. The new cabinets were set back a bit more and he creatively found a solution which came out looking terrific. He is friendly, professional and always takes extra care to clean up after himself and keep us informed of everything he is doing.

It was a pleasure to work with Dave and he was very professional, prompt and honest. I had a shower out of commission for over 9 months because the repair cost quoted to me by another plumber was so high, I figured I should just remodel the bathroom. I never found the time and when Dave came to fix the leak in our basement, I asked him to check out the shower problem. He figured it out right away and quoted me a price less than 1/2 of what the other plumber quoted me! I was shocked and thrilled to know we would have our shower back, just in time for some company visiting with us. As promised, he returned to fix that problem and noticed our shower head was in bad shape. He replaced it and now we have our shower back. I will be remodeling it and will have Dave return for that job I'm sure. He is courteous, cleans up after himself and very efficient too. I cannot be happier to know I have found a great, reliable and honest plumber!
