Great job. Very professional father and son team

Ray Resnick and his son did a great job in a short period of time. I wanted an alarm system but, I didn't want to go with a large impersonal corporation. I like doing business locally so I looked on Angie's List and found Ray at L&R Security Systems. I had other estimates and was not impressed. Others wanted a lot of money but, only wanted to install "stick- on- the- wall" wireless systems. The layout of my property is such that wireless is not reliable because there are too many walls for the signal to go through. Ray and Ray Jr. hard wired the complete system. And that was no small fete as my house is stone and about 225 years old. In addition, they didn't try to sell me dozens of sensors. Other companies wanted to alarm every window, upstairs and down stairs. Ray took a practical approach and only installed what was needed to secure the perimeter. He also installed hard wired fire and smoke detectors. No more having to change batteries every year. I am also happy with the alarm monitoring company Ray uses. During the first couple of weeks we set a lot of false alarms as everybody in the house was getting used to the system. The monitoring company always called back in less than a minute. That's a petty fast response time. Oh, I forgot to mention that this system also included a cellular backup which allows an alarm signal to be sent even if the power to the house is cut. My wife and I are happy with the system. We feel the price was very fair. We recommend L&R Security Systems. As an added plus; Ray and his son are very nice people.

Ray from L&R is friendly and does good work. They came in when the window installer was here to make sure the wires would be OK and plan for the installation. They finished the work this evening. They were a little late arriving, as I needed to do the work after hours and the job before us took longer than expected. They called to let me know and make sure it would be OK. They were neat, clean, professional and did a nice job.
