Arrived on time, knew what she was doing and finished task in allotted time

I had been having problems with my Dell Desktop for a few months. It wouldn't stay on. I'd have to start and restart it 2 or 3 times on initial start up everyday. Linda showed up on time for her first visit to my house and after her expert analysis told me there was a hardware problem. I decided it was time for a new computer instead of trying to repair the old one. Linda handled the entire transaction through her connection with Dell. When the computer was delivered to me I gave Linda a call and once again she showed up at my house ...punctual as usual....and installed and transfered all my files and other goodies to my new Dell.She did a great job and was wonderful to talk to. By the time she was done I felt as if I had made a new friend. So thank you Linda and I hope to see you again "dining under the stars"

I decided to upgrade my OS from Windows 7 to Windows 10 after getting tired of seeing all the nag screens to "reserve my copy" and get my free update. The upgrade process went smoothly and things were fine for a few days. I was pretty familiar with Windows 10 since I already had it on my laptop. Then, all of a sudden, the new upgrade decided it didn't want to play nice with my computer for some reason. First, it wouldn't boot up all the way- it would start hesitating at the Welcome screen. Then, for no reason, the screen would just go black. Finally, the computer wouldn't boot at all. One of the final messages my computer gave me was that "couldn't find the start menu." I searched and searched the internet seeking a solution to this problem and every fix I tried brought me to a dead end. Nothing would work, so it was time to seek some outside help. After searching Angie's List, I came across Linda Christiansen & Company. She's local had all "A" ratings from many satisfied customers. I called her and was told me to bring my computer over and she'd look it over. By the end of the following day, she called and said it was repaired! She found and saved all my important data before doing a clean install of Windows 7. Even though I have all my data backed up to an offsite cloud service, it was a great feeling to learn that everything (financial records from Quicken) , favorite photos, and data from Outlook were still intact! Linda was a pleasure to work with and really knows her stuff! She's very responsive and let me know what was going on each and every step of the way. Even though I built the computer she worked on, I couldn't find a good solution to all the corrupt files and other issues Windows 10 was giving me. So, thank you Linda for a job very well-done! I highly recommend her services and won't hesitate using her again!

Linda was very responsive when I purchased a deal through Angie's list. We scheduled an appointment, she was even just a little early which was fine. She accomplished what I needed quickly but thoroughly. She was polite and helped me understand along the way everything she was doing so I wasn't confused about her process.

Linda Christiansen arrived on time. She was very nice to work with. She hooked up my new wireless printer. I had several questions about things I needed help with. She was patient and very experienced with any issue I had. I was unfamiliar with pictures on CD's and how to download them etc. She was able to answer any question I had and used her time effectively so we were able to cover the questions I had. I would highly recommend her to anyone who required any kind of computer training or hook ups of new systems. I was very glad I hired her and will do so again.

Provider responded immediately and was able to service my computer within 24 hours. She even walked me through some steps so that I could continue working on my computer for the day until she was able to service it. Although the scans that she had to run were extremely time consuming she charged me only for the time that she had to actively work on my machine. Linda was terrific to work with and I will use her company for all future computer repair needs.

Verizon sent me a new router to replace an older router that was not working properly. They said that I could install it myself. Not a chance! This entailed connecting the new router, but it also meant changing the codes on my laptop, printer and 2 tablets to get them to work wirelessly. Linda arrived on time and set everything up, showed me how to load the photos from my camera to a file that was created in my laptop. She showed me how to attach them to an email. Had I tried to just set up the wifi myself I would still be working on it. I have used a number of big deals with good experiences. This is certainly one of the best. If you need tech help call her. I kept track of the issues that I saw with my computer ie. speed and the constant error messages so that when the tech came they'd know what I saw. Linda took note and deleted the thousands of errors and checked all my systems. She helped with with other wants and needs that I have been wishing for on my computer for months.

This Lady truly is exceptional. She was right on time went straight to work explained everything extremely well and easy understandable. Very professional, very knowledgeable and she took the time to explain every single step! Easy to talk to a true pleasure doing business with! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

It was not a good experience. When I got my computer back there were programs missing. I called her and she said she didn't know why they were missing and that was the end of it. I had to have someone else fix it for $350. I didn't get much of a reaction at all; she wasn't going to help me. She said if I wanted she would install an old program but I didn't want that. I wanted what it had before. I personally would not recommend her. She wasn't really concerned that I was concerned. Her pricing seemed reasonable but I expected it to be fixed.

I would use them again in the future.

Great. Linda will scale the work she does to what you want. The first few times I hired her, I was on a tight budget and she worked with me to do some diagnosis and let me know what to do. This time I had a little more money, but no time and needed a higher functioning computer at home. She was very flexible, professional, friendly and helps find solutions to your situation.
