West Shore Home Mechanicsburg

We hired West Shore to install a wheelchair-accessible shower in our master bath. We chose West Shore as we thought that with them being in the business of just bath projects they would have the knowledge to install such a shower. It was decided that what would be needed was 2 in step up with 2 in ramp going across. We trusted their judgment assuming that they had done this before. The shower was installed pretty quickly however, they installed a handheld showerhead that was way too high for a person in a wheelchair to reach, and when we tried the shower the water ran out the front of the ramp. After a call, we were told that they would need to install a foam guard across the front of the shower pan. $11,000.00 and 3 weeks later we still have not had that installation and have not been able to use that shower. I would have thought that they would have come prepared to install that guard at the time of installation. Also, I would have thought that that company would do the whole project, not just the shower install. I see all these 5-star reviews so maybe on a less complicated install, they deserve that rating but not on our project.

Grant,Ben,Cody and Nate,showed up as they said and all were wearing mask.They were all very friendly and eager to get to work.We had 2 walk in showers installed, their team work and respect for each other was awesome to watch and listen to, you don't see that much in today's work force. They were very informative as to what they were doing and ok everything with us. When finished they explained cleaning on the showers and all Debra was picked up, nothing- not one bit of dirt or debre was left behind. These young men need to be commended for the excellent job they performed and representing West Shore Home you should be proud to have these men. Thank you Marty & Sharon Williams

The installers were professional and explained as they went. After the job was completed they cleaned up and it was as if they were never here. They also explained warranty info, cleaning information etc. Well worth it. Very pleased and now have a beautiful walk in shower with seat.

The bathroom looked great and i would hire them again if i ever had another bathroom to do. Unfortunately your warranty covers the life of the house so i should not need them

Brandon F and Tristen H installed my complete shower/tub with full walls all the way up to my wood moulding at the ceiling. They did excellent work, were extremely personable, cleaned up very well when finished, and were finiished with the work by approximately 5 pm. (Much to my surprise the one day tear out and complete install was a reality!) Brandon and Tristen made sure all of the "accessories" were installed to my peference. They went over all paperwork and recommendations and answered all of my questions. I give not only West Shore Home, but these two young installers.......5 STARS!!!!!!

The kept us informed and answered all my questions and concerns. We really like the finished product and the way it was installed and cleaned up afterwards.

We were nervous doing a bathtub to shower renovation. We had John L. sit down with us and make a plan. They came out super fast to do the work. We had Nate J. and Cody P. come out to do the installation. They were very professional and friendly and new their business. It was done in under 8 hours and perfectly. I completely love my new shower. I would recommend them to anyone doing bathroom renovations.

The two installers Ralph & Luke come took out the old door & within 3 hrs replaced it with a new West shore Home ProVia metal door with a screen door. they was very professional, polite and great with the install. What a great job they did, cleaned up afterward you would never know they did anything. They left our home as clean as when they came. I would definitely recommend these two installers and West Shore Home for our next project. Thanks again Ralph & Luke Great job. * * * * * 5 star guys for sure!

We knew we wanted to replace the old tub in our home with a shower. Our first contact was Cameron, salesman, who made the decision process very easy. On the day of installation I met Nate J. and Tyler E. who arrived at my home on time. They took just a moment and had a human moment. I was at ease while they were working. They wore masks and social distanced when interacting with us. They asked for opinions on shower height, the foot-rest placement shelve placement. After about 8 hours the guys went over the stuff they needed to go over with us including care and terms. We could not have had a smoother install. They area in the house and outside the house were left cleaner than when Nate and Tyler got here. I would recommend West Shore Home to anyone needing a new shower. Thanks.
