Servpro of Lower Paxton/Halifax

I had used these guys about 10 years ago and couldn't say enough good things about them. The main guy I had used before, Chuck, was nolonger with the company and my experience was not great this time. They came right away but they seemed like kids right out of high school who really didn't know what they were doing. They drove up from Maryland to service Harrisburg which was odd. Then they did the initial clean-up, said they would be back to clean up more debris and then didn't do the follow-up cleanup. As a result furniture molded and more damage resulted. Then they lost my house key and I had to have the whole house re-keyed which they did pay for. I even had to call 3 times to get the bill for the insurance company. I would think twice about ever calling these guys again.

The manager came out right away and to gather information for an estimate. He sent me the estimate later that same day. He had a crew available the next day to start the process of cleanup but I was not ready to start due to conflicts. The crew started the next day. He ripped out the affected area and treated what could not be taken out and set up fans and dehumidifier to dry the structure. A manager will come tomorrow to check the status. Servpro will come back the following day to check again and remove their equipment. I am to call if I have any concerns. I have called with questions and they answer my questions immediately. They have also given me the floorplan of my basement so that I can get estimates for new carpeting. This sewer leak has been very upsetting, but they have been very easy to work with and I know that they will make the living area in my basement safe again and I will not have to worry about any bacteria or other unknowns that may have gotten into my home during the sewer leak Very Happy Customer.
