Beautiful door. Salesman knew the product well. Customer service was great. Installation was a breeze and the guys cleaned up after themselves.

I haven't had the work done yet but the the initial visit/meeting with Taylor was great. He was very helpful and very knowledgeable.

Adam was very knowledgeable about the process. Thoroughly explained all avenues. Showed and explained the differences in windows. Even told me i already have Anderson windows just by looking at them.

Project Specialist Travis Miller was very informative and helpful in my selection of a new patio door.

Traveling salesman stopped at my house. I told him 3 times we weren’t interested, but he wouldn’t leave it. If that’s the representation of the company I don’t trust the work that would have been done anyhow.

The replacement went well and installers were professional. They foamed and sealed a leaky area to prevent more moisture from getting in. Everything was sealed off and weatherized.

The job overall was great and we are happy with the final product. We got estimates from 3 different window suppliers. By far the worst part of the entire experience is waiting through the sales pitches that they give. I had heard window sales presentations before and did not need to hear great detail on all the things about the company or number of years in business etc. The meeting to get an estimate on several window options from Andersen took 2 hours and I was upset simply because I did not want it to take so long. They just refuse to move along and give you the price until they say all their sales talk. Once we got past that part, everything was smooth. We put our order and the sales man came the same day to pick up a deposit check. Our original estimate was for 8 weeks until delivery but it ended up being closer to 4. The installation crew was well mannered and professional, and were easy to talk to. They put down appropriate drop cloths before working. They did a nice and neat uninstall of the old window a piece at a time, and did not overly force anything. The head construction man used foam around all the old cracks and crevices along the window frame before putting the new window it. The window fit just great and the entire job took only about 4 hours. I pointed out some missing caulk and they made sure it was fully caulked up right away. The outside flashing looks good and fits snugly. They cleaned up and vacuumed after themselves. The window itself is constructed very well. We are very happy with our choice for this window and felt at ease while it was being installed.

We have a very small rancher built in the 50’s, some of the windows have been replaced with single pane vinyl windows, and others are the original wood windows. We intended to get the wood windows replaced but the salesmen insisted that the vinyl single pain windows we had (what he referred to as cheap contractor, Home Depot, Lowes installed windows) were crap. So, I said go ahead and give me a price for all of them (about 17 windows (double pane) and a sliding glass door). After an exhausting 3+ hr. dissertation on everything you need to know about Anderson and multiple demonstrations with windows, heat lamps, etc., I was told the price would be 68,000. The sales told us we could pay cash or we could get financing at 2.5%, but in order to get the pricing he gave us, we needed to pay the cash or sign up for the financing on the spot. If we did not, they would be forced to up the financing to 6.9 or higher. First, I was shocked at the price, which meant that 40% of my home’s value is in the windows; which I know is ridiculous. And then, to push me to pay or agree to anything immediately when I only had one estimate and wanted to get more, was just more than I could handle. I told him I have never in my life made a decision for any large amount of money without thinking it through and getting other estimates to compare to …and frankly, I do not know anyone that would. Overall, I have no doubt that their windows are great, but the sales technique is so absolutely horrible and I would never do business with them simply because it. Honestly, their management should really take a close look at how badly this is affecting their reputation; I mean look at the car and furniture industries; that hard sale does not work and eventually they recognize the warning signs and realized there was better way to do it without the pushy sales tactics. Again, I would never do business with them. Side Note: Home Depot came in at gave us an estimate of 13,500 (single pane), still waiting for my third estimate to decide.

Very disappointed. Misled on a number of occasions. Numerous calls to rectify were ignored. Will never use again.

The window and doors were available about 2 weeks earlier than we expected and they were installed about 4 days after we were informed that they were available. The installation crew were very punctual, worked very hard and steadily all day long and finished the installation in a single day. They were friendly and respectful and not only did a fabulous job on the installation but were very meticulous about cleaning up afterward both inside and out. I could not be more pleased with the job and the end result.

I was in need of a replacement patio door. Our daughter had a wonderful experience with Anderson Renewal Windows and Doors so I called them. From the meeting with the marketing individual to the final installation of the door our experience was outstanding. Everyone was very helpful, answered all my questions and the end product is wonderful. just what I hoped for.

A+ plus service from start to finish. Everyone involved with the project was truly a professional and made sure we were satisfied with the job. We were shopping several window companies and the quality of these windows were just so far above the others. We have already noticed a difference on hot days. Before we could feel the sun and heat radiate in through the windows, not anymore!! I'm sure the winter will be positive results also. No more cold drafty windows. The entire process was great. From the sales staff, to the project manager keeping us informed on when the windows would be ready, to the 2 amazing gentlemen that installed the windows and finally with the follow up phone calls to make sure that we were completely satisfied with the windows. The installers were complete professionals. Asking where they could park, arriving on time, placing blankets at every place they were working. I could not believe 2 guys were going to get the whole house done in one day but they did. When they were done, they showed me how the windows worked and made sure that each window was to my satisfaction. When they left, you could not tell any work was done(besides the great new windows). They cleaned everything up, no dust, no scraps of wood, nothing left on the ground under the windows. I wish I could that kind of service from other contractors. The price is a bit higher than the other options out there, but between the superior quality of the windows and the excellent service from start to finish, I think it's well worth it.

Edwin and his assistant arrived at 8:30 AM. As they were bringing in their tools I said the installation was scheduled for two day. I was told the installation would be finished in one day. It was a warm day and we asked them several times if the would like some cold water. Edwin told me that they had brought everything they needed except use of the bathroom. That was not a problem to furnish. Initially, I thought to myself is this installation possible in one day. Where ever they were working a drop cloth was there. When a window or windows were finished there was not any evidence that they had been working there. I did not know what their sequence of events would be used. They went around the house and removed all twelve windows. Then the process of installing twelve windows started. Edwin and his assistant did take a lunch break. I still thought it would take a part of the second day to finish. They proved me wrong and we were glad they did. The installation was completed and clean up finished leaving our house looking totally different. Edwin and his assistant had their truck packed and left at 6:30 PM. My daughter just told me that her window is the best. The original window was leaking air to the point that her bedroom was hot in the summer with a "humid musty odor". In the winter it was cold. So her room is cool now and will be warm in the winter. Renewal by Andersen's commercial on TV is factual. What is shown on the commercial is what happens when they come to your home and install renewal windows. I can not praise Renewal by Andersen enough. I wish we would have had the renewal windows installed previously. The windows that a visible from the street make the house look much nicer.

For 5 windows it went very quickly but they took the time to install them correctly. I'm very happy with the results.

Poorly. The process for this 'simple' project started in September 2015, and was satisfactorily completed in February 2016. The issue is lack of honest information and complete lack of customer service. — Sep 2015 - Estimate provided and items/colors selected. — " - Offer accepted. — Oct 2015 - Delivery/installation. Door/laundry room window fine. Installer advised us that an incorrectly colored double-crank kitchen window (inside/outside color reversed) had been sent by manufacturer and that Renewal By Andersen (RBA) was working to rectify. Interim installation completed. We called RBA immediately, and were assured they had contacted the manufacturer to correct problem. RBA promised new window would be installed upon receipt. — Oct/Nov 2015 - Numerous calls to RBA. Info provided by courteous individual was insufficient to satisfy issue. However, we were advised that the initial story we were told on the order of the correct item was false. He told us that the salesman had sold us a color combination that did not actually exist. Further, he offered that RBA had not actually re-ordered the window, and that a 'special order' would have to be placed. This, of course would extend the expected delivery, considering the re-painting that would be required by RBA. Being unsatisfied, we requested to speak to a 'higher-up'. The RBA customer service rep referred us to the manager, whose name he said was Linda Johnston. We were provided her phone number, and were transferred to her voicemail. The voicemail greeting identified the individual as Linda Johnston. All the above information was provided to RBA, and a return call requested. None came. After a few days, Linda Johnston was again called with the same result. In all, we called Linda Johnston a total of four times and never heard from her. — Feb 2016 - Correct window installed. However, insect screens provided were the wrong size. The correct screens were finally installed on Feb 25, 2016. NOTE: We received a call from a district RBA rep in Feb 2016 asking if we were satisfied with our recent RBA experience. We advised we were not, and were connected with the RBA District Manager. We recounted the experience to him, mentioning that perhaps some financial compensation might be in order. This was considering the falsehoods we were told, the stop-payment communications with our credit card company and our general dissatisfaction with RBA. He promised research and a call back to us " ... within 2 hours." We never heard from him again, either.

Our recent install project conducted by Renewal by Andersen was clearly the best ever! The windows themselves are the best I’ve ever seen. Yes, they may be priced higher than others in the market but, once you have them installed, you’ll never regret it! Unparalleled quality and service that is second to NONE! The team of 6 installers worked flawlessly and were quite simply the BEST and most pleasurable crew I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. They did a 14 window install in less than a day and were complete with EVERY detail from start to finish. Even at cleanup, there as not a spot left! The follow up by the Renewal by Andersen folks is also not equaled by anything I have experienced in the past. When they say they go “above and beyond”, they aren’t kidding! Attention to detail and genuine concern are just two of their extremely desirable qualities. If you are in the market for windows or doors, you owe it to yourself to contact the folks at Renewal by Anderson. Trust me, you’ll regret it if you don’t at least give them the opportunity to show what they have to offer!!

Mike Bates and his team did an excellent job in all respects. All windows and a patio door were replaced in one day, and when they left, everything was completely cleaned up. Mike took his time showing us the operation of every window, and provided clear instructions. RBA is a little expensive, but their products, installation and service are top notch.

The first contact was a little awkward. I had requested a call in the evening because of my work in the day time did not allow for personal calls. The first call was the next day, while I was at work. I asked for them to please call that evening. They did not call back for about a week. We had about given up and were contacting another company. Then I was called again, at work. This time they did call back in the evening and we set-up a meeting. Jason came out and spent the whole evening with us going over what we had decided on getting. Casement windows just like the ones already installed in the newer part of the house. And, a new front door. Another representative came out to verify the measurements and placement of the windows. We had been worried that since the house was so old and the original windows had started to fall apart that we might not be able to get new windows from Andersen. We were reassured that the new windows could be installed. On December 28th the contractor came out to install the new windows and door. My wife called and told me that there was no new trim being installed. He told her there was no order for new trim. After coming home I saw that not only was there no new trim, the inside of the windows was painted white. We had been waiting for the new windows to look similar to the original ones with a wood finish and trim on the inside. The only new trim was around the front door. We pulled out the contract and sure enough; the windows had been marked as a standard interior white instead of wood finish and no trim was marked for the new windows. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (BTW: WHY DOES THIS KEEP POPPING MY CURSOR BACK TO THE BEGINNING WHILE I AM TYPING????) It is very irritating to be typing and then when I look at the screen the cursor has popped back up to the beginning of the box! With the text being typed in front of the original text. This is very tiring. I would like to be able to finish the review without having to keep checking where the cursor is. How many times is this going to keep popping my cursor back to the beginning?????? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We had failed to verify the windows finish was marked according to what we had requested before signing the contract. So, we are stuck with plain/ugly white interior colors and old trim. Jason offered to have the crew come back out and put new trim for an additional $400. We decided that it was not worth that much extra, since the interior finish was wrong anyway. Just make sure you double and triple check the contract for what you thought you had requested before signing it. We still love the quality of the product. And, the crew was very polite, professional and finished quickly. They even made sure the front door installation was made so that we could add a new screen door in the spring. My wife was very impressed with them and the fact that the crew not only cleaned up after their work, they cleaned up the whole room. Andersen Windows and Doors are still the best product available. We highly recommend them and the work accomplished. They cost a little more. But, are well worth it.

The install was done very quickly and very well. The workmanship and dedication to proper installation was high quality. The salesman did not pressure me into buying and considered my budget with all the options he presented. It was a great way to get the quality I wanted within my budget.

We have got a quote from them. It was a very good quote and a very good product. The demonstration of the product was extensive. We had been looking at a number of possible companies to do window replacement and we looked at the product, and it was very obvious that it was a superior product. They will work with us and we are very happy with them. The quote was for approximately $6,400 for four upstairs windows plus patio doors, and it includes everything including the product, the materials and installation.

This was the third time we'd had Renewal by Anderson out to give us an estimate on replacing our windows. We had been sold on the quality the first time out; it was a matter of finances that kept us from making the purchase either of the first two times. We have several vinyl replacement windows which, while certainly better than the 90 year old windows we were replacing, had already warped and had drafts, after only 8 years, and Renewal by Anderson's windows were head and shoulders above anything else we'd seen. I believe the rep's name is John (but wouldn't swear to it!). Not pushy, no hard sell, gave us whatever discounts were available, very friendly and 'real'. He even helped pry open a window which had been stuck shut for over a year. John took preliminary measurements and helped us figure out what the windows would cost, paid monthly. The next day, just as promised, another rep came out and did more accurate measurements. A rep by the name of Samantha kept us informed of the timeline for the windows' fabrication and expected delivery date and arranged the installation. She also followed up afterward to see if we were satisfied. The installation was done by Rick and Mike. They were polite, friendly, and made every effort to keep our house clean during installation. They even vacuumed the carpets after they were done! And there was no loud music or cursing, something I have endured when other servicemen have done work for us. I know we paid more for these windows than we would have paid for vinyl windows, but I am confident that Renewal by Anderson gives a 20 year warranty for good reason, and we don't expect to have trouble with leaks or cracks or anything, even years and years from now. And their service has been outstanding.
