Would not hire Lynn ,High price 3rd rate work. Sloppy drywall work.plumbing was poor,carpentry was very poor, cut off support studs in shower to install plumbing and then drywalled over it without fixing or replacing studs. Installed show with no shower door,Lynn did explained he doesn't do doors and gave us a show curtain. POOR POOR WORK FOR A HIGH PRICES.NEVER WOULDN'T USE LYNN FOR A DOGHOUSE REMODLE.

Highly recommend not using Lynn for any shower tile work. I paid him $3,400 in materials and labor for a tile shower job. Beautiful materials, but put together with the utmost care. So many of the tiles are not lined up. They’re either sunken in or sticking out from the next tile. He didn’t even caulk all the areas, using an excuse that caulk looks bad. In other words, he seems unphased by the fact that any amount of long-standing water creates mold/mildew. Even the grout work was done sloppily. Every single joint has grout smeared on the outside edges. His response to that was, “Well that’ll come off with water in the shower.” In other words, he doesn’t care about creating a polished finished product for his customers. The worst is the 3/4 centimeter gap between the shower handle plate from one tile to the other. If you want quality work, hire another person. Otherwise you’ll be like me and when you call him back to review his sloppy job, he’ll tell you he isn’t doing anything about it.

This is the second time we have used Lynn for our house. He came, checked out the leak, gave good advise as to what to do next, answered all my questions and did not charge for the consultation. Previously, we used Lynn to help us remove our range hood. We wanted to remove our outdated range hood ourselves to save money. Lynn came and gave us some great advise on how to get started and then helped on the parts we were unable to do ourselves. We removed the hood base and he came and removed the electrical, and then fixed the dry wall on the ceiling. He did an excellent job investigating our situation and giving us many possible choices. We paid a flat fee that we felt was extremely reasonable for the all the time and energy he put into our home. He is helpful and patient. He has a lot of knowledge about plumbing and general construction. I would definitely recommend him.

Lynn Russell claims he will fix your drains not drain your wallet. NOT TRUE!! He charged me $90 for --literally-- a 30 second job. When I asked him how he did it, he wouldn't tell me. Afterwards, I thought his $90 charge was outrageous, so I wrote him a letter requesting a reconsideration. He adamantly refused. I had used him once before, the work was OK, but it took him a bit longer than he thought it would (he had quoted me the job, not time). His attitude was quite unpleasant because of the delay. DEFINATELY NOT RECOMMENDED.

He is reasonably priced and doesn't try to push work on you that isn't necessary. The quality of his work is high. He is always very prompt about coming out to my house. I would highly recommend him.
