This was perhaps the best company we have ever dealt with! They were professional, prompt and were great about communicating the progress of the project and expected due date. The owner came frequently to inspect the work. Jason, who did all the work, was meticulous about every paver he placed, taking his time to do a perfect job. This crew even put out new seed in the yard before they left (and that wasn't even in the proposal). This is a company with integrity----it's the company you dream of working with when you deal with a contractor!

Jeff, Craig, and Cody are professional, courteous, and easy to work with. We were quite pleased with everything. Great communication is key. That really impressed us. If you have questions, Jeff will call you back! The work was done as promised and done very well. We will definitely use them again.

First, I'd like to compIiment the two guys who did the work, they were professional and courteous. I couldn't be happier with the job they did, all the bushes and the tree look very neatly manicured and they cleaned up and hauled away all of the debris. I'd say they did better than I expected. Note: The only reason I gave them a "B" rating on the price is because I had nothing to compare it with... I called two other lawn/yard services - one never called me back and the other, finally called me back, but never showed-up to give me an estimate/price.

We had switched from another well-known landscaper to Green with Envy when we had a house with a large yard. Jeff's crew did a superior job and at a slightly better price. Plus they are the nicest people, starting with Jeff and Rhonda. Our only regret moving to a condo was having very little business for them anymore! Yet even with what small jobs we have, they are completely gracious and do very high-quality work. I don't write many reviews, to be honest, but just had to write this one. I can't recommend Green with Envy highly enough.

We have a very large yard with many perennial beds, shrubbery, and trees. We had grown dissatisfied with the prior yard maintenance company that we had used for a number of years and after reviewing contractors on Angie's List, we identied five companies that we would consider and proceeded to obtain bids. While the prices provided were not that diverse, we were most comfortable with the information provided by Jeff Moyer and his professionalism. And we have not been disappointed. Jeff is busy and since we entered into a contract early in the season, he was able to accomodate our desire to have the mulching completed within a certain time frame. His employees (no subcontractors) have done a great job with all aspects of the work. They are punctual, take their job seriously/want to do a quality job, and work quietly. Also, note Jeff has several teams of workers who specialize in the varied types of work performed. Early on, employees noted that at the bottom of the numerous downspouts on our house, the water had washed away the mulch. Their suggestion was to build a drainage bed of stones at the bottom of each downspout. Not only has this solved the problem of water washing away mulch and soil but these drainage beds (smooth round stones) are decorative, have an artistic flair. Thank you! Two employees arrive on the same day each week to mow the grass, and trim as well as blow grass off the driveway and sidewalk as needed. They are often here and gone before we realize that they have been here. If I have had a question, I e-mail or call Jeff and he responds almost immediately. Several weeks ago I found a plant in one of my beds, could not identify it, and sent him a picture of it. He gave me feedback the same evening in terms of what I might do to manage it. Would highly recommend Green With Envy to others, and in fact have done so. Again, thank you for helping us maintain a "manicured and pretty yard".

They are not cheap but the beat we ever had.

Workers were on time, did the work as stated in the contract, very pleasant and very clean, never left anything lay for us to clean. Excellent job, received numerous complements.

I thought that Jeff is very nice and they were a couple of little confusing things that happened but he tried to make everything right. Overall, I thought he did a good job. I used them last year and one of the bushes that he gave me died and they're going to come back and give me another bush this coming week. When there was a problem, Jeff went out of his way to make it right. For what they did, I thought the price was very high. He left his people here to work and then he went on I guess to supervise another job and they seem to work okay. Because he was so expensive, I have thought to actually use someone else.

My yard has never looked better! Jeff is very professional and dependable. He always gets back to me when I have an extra project and they always do an amazing job. You can't find anyone better for lawn care.

They are very prompt. They come, they do the job, and they are gone. They do a thorough job pretty much.

I have been very pleased with their work. They are easy to get in contact with and schedule convenient times for estimates and consultations. Their level of professionalism is greatly appreciated. They schedule work in a timely manner and not only do a great job, but also clean any trace of their presence before they leave. I look forward to them servicing my lawn and landscaping needs for quite some time to come.

Jeff came out, looked at the job, e mailed an estimate that was good. We decided to to something else but Jeff could not have been nicer or more professional. Should the need arise. I will use him.

They were expensive so I didn't use them. Their quotes were on a higher side compared to what I'm paying already.

Their price was quite reasonable compared to the other bids that we got. That is why we used them, and we will use them again. My interaction with them went very well. They were very professional, and we were just pleased overall after having some bad experiences with other landscapers. What really stood out was their professionalism. It is really hard to find true professionals in the landscaping category. I found that even the ones that charge a great deal more did not give me any better product than Green with Envy. Since we have been in our house for fifteen years and my ability to garden has diminished over the years specially the past couple of years with some bouts of illness, these guys have been the best.

We like them a lot. They are very good, they clean up very well, they are courteous, and they get the job done. Their price was very good. The deacons who deal with them find them to be wonderful. They are not obnoxious or rude. I would recommend them to somebody else.

All went well. Very professional.

They did only an "ok" job, and then they just stopped showing up. Never answered emails, phone calls or returned messages.

Jeff did a great job aerating and over seeding my yard. His response to my request, his estimate and completion of the job was very quick. I priced out what it would to cost for me to do it myself and Jeff price was a little higher, but the difference was well worth not having to pick up and return the equipment and the time it would have taken to do it myself!

Used Green with Envy on a couple different projects over the last several months. Jeff is fair and reasonable. The crew that performed the work were professional and listened to the customer. Their effort to make sure we were happy with the finished project was much appreciated. I plan to use them again.

I discovered Green with Envy on Angie's list and due to the positive reviews, contacted them to mow the lawn of my new home. Initially when I met with the owner, I thought he was very professional and fair so I decided to proceed with having their company mow my lawn. I was satisfied with their service until this fall when I received an invoice for three mows for the month of October that were either not completed or completed unnecessarily. I had no idea they had even mowed my lawn in October because I noticed no difference to my lawn. In the months prior, when my lawn did not need mowed, they did not do the work so I was confused as to the change in the way they operated their business. I contacted them to address my concerns and that I felt I was being billed for work that wasn't completed or did not not need completed. There was no acknowledgement of my concerns and the woman I spoke with was very defensive, talked over me, and basically flat out told me I was wrong. I emailed them to end the contract and reiterated my concerns in writing. Again, their response contained no apologies or consideration of my concerns, just basically telling me how I was wrong and that I owed them the full amount. Their explanation was that they talked to their guys and checked their computer system so that means that the work was done/needed to be done. They referred to my concerns as "suspect" and said all work was performed within their policies. It is unfair that I had to pay for services that were not completed or unnecessarily completed just because a company is trying to make more money at the end of the mowing season. My advice to anyone considering hiring this company for mowing is to call them every week to tell them whether or not you want the service completed. This is something I did not do because I had assumed they would not cut the grass if it was not needed; huge mistake on my part. And if you ever find that you are unhappy or dissatisfied with their services, don't expect any concessions or an attempt on their part to make it right. They'll respond to your phone call or email quickly, but all you'll get is an argument back. The definition of customer service is "a series of activities designed to enhance the level of customer satisfaction ? that is, the feeling that a product or service has met the customer expectation." I certainly did not experience that.

Overall the job went well. The grass is growing in and I hope to have a fairly nice lawn next season. I would recommend them to others given that the work was quality and the price was good compared to three other quotes I received. I especially liked their honesty with my options.

Jeff is prompt and responsive. His staff is friendly and professional. We've particularly been grateful for the e-mail communications letting us know when a service is coming up, etc. We never have to call them more than once for any request.

Job well done. Green with Envy did not try to aggressively sell us extensive landscaping, instead candidly discussing reasonable prices for the most critical areas of interest. Our property looks much better. There was one glitch where I thought round stones would be and normal shale type stone was put instead - maybe a miscommunication, but it's stands as the reason I held back from perfect score.

Jeff came and gave us an estimate fairly quickly. We accepted the estimate and work started shortly after. We had not moved into the house yet so we were not on site when the work was performed. He and his crew worked well with our irrigation guy. Once we moved in mid-June we contacted Jeff because we were weeding a couple times a week. He said that is normal because it was a new bed. I questioned the lack of mulch because the soaker hoses were exposed and not very attractive and the weeds were growing fast. I mentioned never having this issue with mulch before. He did not like the comparision and said our other landscapers must have not dealt with areas where beds didn't exist...on new construction. He said we don't want to add too much mulch because we will have to remove it when it gets too high. We also mentioned some of the Liropes, and Cyprus were turning brown on the tops. He said nothing was wrong with them...we just needed to turn up the soaker hose setting a little. We also mentioned the Weigela needed trimming already, and questioned the "low maintenance" aspect. He said they should be lightly trimmed now and then more heavily in the fall. Even though he took offense to my mulch comments, he offered to send his crew out to trim the Weigela and add more mulch. They did a good job. Once more mulch was added, the weeds stopped appearing. However, the Cyprus is still brown on the top, most of the Liropes have survived, but some are dead. In early August we emailed Jeff to tell him our acer palmatum dissectum viridis (green Japanese maple) had turned brown and we hoped it was under warranty (picture below). He checked with the nursery and they told him it was wind burnt and got dry even with irrigation. He said it should be well in the spring. We certainly hope so. As far as we know, he has never come by to look at it to be certain it is OK which is upsetting. He trusts the nursery's diagnosis based on the picture I sent him. We spent a LOT of money on this area and hate to see it wasted, but fear a lot of it has been. Today we had a landscaper come by to give us landscaping plans for the rear of our house. He looked at the japanese maple and said it has some pale green on it (less now than in the picture below), but it is definitly not healthy.
