They were prompt and did great work. I highly recommend this company.

Called them around 9 am and after checking their schedule they were able to squeeze me in the same day. The technician tested and cleaned the system and he put on the shoe covers to protect our carpet which was a nice touch. Cleaned up after himself, explained his services clearly, overall just great!

Our plumbing in the master bath became clogged and started to back up in the bath tub. We needed assistance immediately. We always used the plumber who installed all the plumbing when we built the house. He is excellent, but has become unreliable. A friend told us about Central Penn. They came right away. Don did a thorough job and got all drains flowing. We were so happy with Don and his work, we called again when we developed a leaking faucet. Another gentleman came, unfortunately I don't recall his name, and we were equally happy with his work. We will call again when a need arises.

I first want to commend Evan, the serivce technician who came to my home. He was very professional, very pleasant, and very fast. Were he an independent contractor I would hire him in a second. I want to also commend the company for their fast response to my problem. In fact, they were able to come earlier than anticipated. So you're probably scratching your head as to why I have indicated that I will likely not use them again. It comes down to price. Of the $220 charged, $65 was a diagnostic fee. I have no issue with this as it is common practice although many times this diagnostic fee gets applied to the overall bill if something needs to be repaired (this varies, to be honest). That leaves $155. Evan, as good as he was, was here for less than 1 hour. Unless the tiny rubber gasket was $50, I am had pressed to understand the high cost. I wasn't going to give Evan a hard time about it because he doesn't make pricing decisions.

I called the company when I received my bill and asked for an explanation of the high charges. The receptionist could not give me a thorough answer for the charges and I did not receive a call back for a week. After pursuing the bill, Central Penn plumbing did call me to reduce the charges in question and do a repeat service call. Thanks for pursuing the problem and giving good service!

I discovered the leak on my own and called "my" plumber for the pipe repair. It would have been very easy to do more work (thus charge more) than was really required, as I just wanted the thing fixed. However, they came up with a very simple fix involving virtually no materials, so the charge was labor and "truck time". We used CennPenn the first time at the suggestion of our builder and several times since. Response time from CennPenn is always appropriate to the repair. Replace a fan motor or a hot water heater... same day. No extra charge.
