The price is average. They deliver because my husband can't go up and down the stairs with those big bags of salt. They're good. We're very happy.

I purchased a new matching refrigerator, wall oven/microwave, induction cooktop and dishwasher for a townhouse I was building in 2013 from LH Brubaker. I then purchased a new home and they moved the appliances in 2014. I also bought a new washer/dryer set(great deal on Samsungs!) and recently purchased a microwave for the new home. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and helped me choose the best models for my needs. Installers always showed up on time, appliances installed correctly, cleaned up after themselves, friendly and informative. When I replaced an outdated range hood with a new microwave, they coordinated with my cabinet company to figure out how best to do the install. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. I am a very high maintenance client and they surpassed my expectations!!!

Brubakers is a high end appliance store with locations in Mechanicsburg and Lancaster PA. I am very disappointed with my service experiences with them and would go elsewhere. I have dealt with both locations, the Mechanicsburg location for sales and service and their Lancaster location for service. I will try to explain both experiences by location in Angies List but they have individually and collectively been a poor experience. I recently bought a new dryer and bought it elsewhere at a good price with next day delivery and someone that will stand behind the product. I bought two Marvel beverage coolers about 2.5 years ago and paid a Iot of money relative to what I could have purchased over the web. I stayed local because of perceived service and what I expected to be a highly reliable product. Well, to my surprise, one of the two units failed outside of the 1-year warranty that covers labor. Major parts are covered for up to 10 years. I ended up with a $400 bill after a painful and drawn out service experience. As I describe in a separate review, at the request of Angies List, I went to the Mechanicsburg store for help to help get my beverage cooler back. The Lancaster location had picked it up, took a long time getting parts and then "scheduling" it to be fixed in their shop They were not very responsive. This was over the course of several weeks instead of days as I was lead to believe. The Mechanicsburg store finally got it back at the end of the week I went to see them and delivered it to my home. I helped the delivery person get it in the house and we soon found out that it was missing the legs. We put together a temporary fix for the legs and got it into its under counter position. They were to order the legs. When I started to load up the cooler I could not close the door without lifting it as there were parts missing from the hinge. I called Brubakers to let them know since they did not adequately check out the refrigerator prior to their departure. This caused another service call, and my time to be there, for the feet and then one for the door. I look for high quality appliances that score well on Consumer Reports or other trusted testing labs. I won't shop here again.

Several years ago when our dryer was acting up we called and was able to get a service person to come right away. Having 7 people in our household with 5 active kids we generate lots of laundry. When I was told I needed a new dryer I could not imagine going any length of time without one. My thought of spending my evenings in the laundromat after a hard day at work, really upset me. The sales person was very understanding and because it was difficult for me to take time off from work, she "worked her magic" and was able to get a dryer installed in my home the very next day. It was exactly what I wanted and I was very grateful for her making that happen. Our most recent purchase was a microwave which needed to be certain dimensions to fit into the kitchen cupboard and match decor. The model we had was no longer available but, they managed to get us one within 3 days to match what we wanted!

We are remodeling our kitchen and was not sure of the brand of refrigerator, dish washer and stove we wanted. Roger helped us understand what is available and the benefits and disadvantages of each feature. I was a salesman for thirty years and can tell a good professional sales person. Roger was very good at helping us find out what we wanted and getting us what we wanted.
