Work was performed on 04/23/2021. My garage door and the lifting mechanism are seventy years old. One of the chains that lifted the door snapped and I needed replacement. Baker Door Company responded quickly to my call. The estimator did not try to sell me more than I wanted done. They scheduled the technician within four days. He arrived on time. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the work. He spotted a problem the estimator missed and I agreed that the change needed to be made. He worked very carefully and made adjustments until I was satisfied with the door operation. The cost was reasonable: $156.00 for labor (two hours at $78.00 per hour) and $97.00 for the replacement lift cables, new safety cables, and new pulleys. I will use them for my future garage door needs and recommend them to anyone needing these services.

Baker Door came out to check on our garage door opener. We needed new springs for the door, which they were able to replace that day, and we also needed a new opener. They came out about a week later to replace the opener. Both times they were prompt, courteous, and professional. They explained the work in detail and answered any questions we had. We would definitely hire them again.

Baker Door company was fantastic. I called on Monday and someone was at my home at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning. The repair was under 1 hour and the technician was professional and efficient. He made suggestions to replace sheaves as well which I appreciate. I think everything was reasonably priced. (Service fee $78, 2 springs $28, lube $7, 4 sheaves $9). I used the Angis list $10 off coupon without a problem. Very pleased and certainly recommend!

We had Baker come out to repair a broken spring on our garage door. They came out the morning after I called and fixed it right away. The cost was $215, which I thought was a little high, but not too bad, especially for the quick turnaround.

I called on Monday afternoon and got on the schedule for Tuesday morning. After the initial assessment, they came the following Tuesday to install the new unit, new eyes, new opener for the wall and gave me a new opener. He was done in less than an hour and a half.

Great!!! The wheels were replaced a larger and heavy model, the cables were replaced because they had some fraying, and some damage to the frame was fixed. It now goes up and down smoothly and makes far less noise as it moves. Charged for 1 hour of labor + parts

One person came to do the work. They were good over the phone. They're fast and efficient. They could have convinced us to replace the door which would've costed more but they found that it was unnecessary. They were honest. They weren't looking for the best dollar amount.

This is the third time I've used Baker for an emergency repair (two different garage door openers and broken springs). They're immediately responsive and in all three cases completed the repair/replacement within 24 hours of when I called. This last time, our 20-year-old Sears opener needed to be replaced. They replaced it with a much quieter LiftMaster and a new remote entry keypad. The technicians they've sent have been friendly and professional.

These were the only "local" contractors interested in the work; 3 organizations were contacted on their "emergency" line, Druck never returned the call and DrakeReed told me they were too busy. Baker sent a salesman first thing Monday morning and they rearranged their work schedule to complete my work first thing Tuesday morning. Job was professionally done, Josh and Adam were great workers - friendly, polite and extremely competent. The material installed (double car insulated door, new automatic door opener and new wireless keypad) were high quality. These guys are pros. Price might have been a little high, but you get what you pay for!

I called Baker Door on the morning of 5/27 to see when they could repair my garage door. The spring that is used to lift and lower the door broke that morning. They said they were in the area that day and would have someone contact me. Bryan called just after lunch and said he was on his way. He came shortly after the call and had the door repaired in about an hour. I was very happy with the response (same day!!) and the job that was done. Bryan did a great job and was very professional throughout the process.

It went fantastic. they found out the pulleys that were recently replaced were not correct and replaced them. There was no up sale of items I did not need and no push to change things that were not broken. They were even able to reuse some of the parts I had that were in good shape. We had a metal garage door from Costco that was installed by one of their contractors. The The system is about 5 years old. Our door was getting stuck up on very hot days and seemed to be closing incompletely. The Baker guy found that a reinforcing bar was not installed at the top panel as is needed for doors with automatic openers. Some of the wires in the opener were also loose and losing electrical contact. There was a folding bend in the top panel panel at the center that had developed because of the lack the reinforcement. He straightened out the bent panel almost completely, attached a reinforcing bar and fixed the wiring. Everything is working perfectly.
