Given that we've never heard back after multiple attempts to contact, I'm going to say that we will never go with Armstrong for our cabinets, which is unfortunate because we like the actual cabinets. --UPDATE-- The rep did contact us yesterday after I sent this review in and was very responsive. Apparently Armstrong is having troubles with their phone system and she did not get our messages. She scheduled an appointment and came today right on time and apologized multiple times. She was able to help us plan out our kitchen remodel. I'll continue to update the review if we end up going with them. --Update #2-- We went to Pam's showroom this week and planned out the kitchen. We were initially nervous because based on the estimates that she sent we were over budget, but once we reviewed everything we were happy with the price, and the choices we made. Pam was very helpful in the showroom and took time to talk to us. We're ready to get our cabinets in!
Description of Work: Once we got the communication problems sorted out (their email system wasn't forwarding and the numbers we had were no longer correct), things have been much smoother. We're looking forward to our cabinets coming in. That being said, our experience with the main Armstrong company, and the operators there was less than stellar. Pam's been very helpful and responsive, but trying to get in touch with her through the main company was frustrating and difficult.

They had originally refereed somebody to install the cabinets and it wasn't going well. Then they came in and finished the work. They did an excellent and I am pleased they made sure I was happy with the finished result. Their cabinetry is so wonderful. They range from basic to very high end.

They use the name Armstrong Flooring but they are also Armstrong Kitchen. If you visit Armstrong web page, this name, address and phone # will come up. It may be that they are no longer selling cabinets, it has been 2 yrs. Priced cabinets at numerous suppliers. Went with them because of the Armstrong name and the sales people along with the showroom appeared professional. What we did not know was that they sub out the installation of the cabinets. The installer was absolutely the worse person I have ever had to deal with. With each cabinet he took out of the box he scratched it. He tried to install cabinets by himself and I (a 50 something woman) ending up holding the cabinets so that he could install them. He didn't have the correct tools and ended up using my husbands tools. The cabinets were not level. When it came time for the quartz countertops nothing fit. He refused to come back and install the trim. When the quartz tops came in, they were the wrong color. They gave us a slight reduction, the only option we had was to take the reduction or wait 6-8 weeks for new tops. During this whole process we were in contact with Armstrong and they were aware of our problems. Most of the door fronts had to be replaced. There are dings and dents on the cabinets, most are hidden by the doors. Armstrong told me that that is exceptable. This installer could not even install the hardware straight. Armstrong eventually sent there "fix it guy" to our house and he spent most of the day corrected all of the things. There are still dings, dents and scratches. All hard to believe when you are getting a new kitchen. But as we were told by Armstrong there is a certain amount of dings, dents and scratches that are to be expected. If you are looking for a new kitchen, run, don't walk, as far away from this company as you can. I thought we were doing the right thing by staying away from the big box stores and going with a local manufacturer. Boy were we wrong. Could not have been a worse experience. Job was terrible, service was terrible. Bad experience start to finish.
Description of Work: Installed kitchen cabinets & tops that were ordered from them, using their installer.
