They did an excellent job. Walked me through the process, explained options, and even left me some extra duct panel to fix the hole where an old humidifier was attached. They also tried to charge the old unit, free of charge, in order to get me through a couple of days before they could come out to install the new one.

When we decided to do this it was starting to get cold. Mike Kemp came out immediately and gave us an estimate and the entire system was in place within about two weeks (I just realized that I forgot to review this very positive experience so my timing may be off by a week). Jason and his assistant ( I do not remember his name but he was very good) did a masterful job of installing the three units and needed to re-position the duct work which they did creatively. Space issues were solved masterfully and you cannot even see where many of the electrical connections are. The project took about 5 days and they were always there when they said they would be. This was a big project with little inconvenience to the homeowners. If they discovered something to enhance the project they went the extra mile and also did a wonderful job of cleaning up.

The call went very smoothly. They found the problem and fixed it expediently and had time to do the tuneup. Shane and Justin were friendly and professional. This is the type of service we have received for years from Kemp. They are always on time for appointments and unexpected service calls are handled expediently. We feel that we are always charged a fair amount.

We discovered a carbon monoxide leak in our 26 year old furnace, and the heat was already on. We've had other dealings with Kemp, and there was no indecision in using them again. Once our situation was learned, a rush was put on and we had the new Trane furnace put in very shortly afterwards. The techs were Jason and Justin and they were wonderful! Very polite, thoroughly explained everything, and neat--they cleaned up all the mess from tearing out/taking the old equipment. The furnace itself didn't come in until around midday, but Jason/Justin came early to do the prep work, and stayed until around 7pm to get everything completely done. Jason also helped us to identify furnace vents throughout the house that had been closed for years, but really needed to be open. We are extremely grateful for the concern of our welfare, and for doing such a great job. I cannot recommend Kemp and their people enough!

It went VERY WELL......they put on a new capacitator after they checked EVERYTHING, cleaned everything, etc. (I had called GILLECE 2 years ago for same problem, they charged me OVER $400, tried talk my hubby into a NEW UNIT that we do not need, etc. and then it broke again and of course they gave us NO WARRANTY. I wouldn't call GIllece again for anything! I WILL STICK WITH KEMP...VERY HONEST & FAIR...........THANK YOU DOMONIC :)!

If Kemp cannot respond to a request to call us within 1-1/2 days, I cannot feel confident in using their company.

My wife and I have never dealt with a finer company. The owner, Mike Kemp, comes out to give advice and the estimated cost. He is easy to talk with, and very straightforward. He came out himself, even for the hot water heater. Then the technicians come out for the installation of the equipment. All installations went faster and cleaner than we had expected. These people really know what they are doing. We have been renewing our service contract for about 5 years now. This has saved us quite a bit of money as all services are discounted (including unexpected maintenance). And it insures the integrated furnace and A/C are properly maintained twice a year instead of waiting for problems to ask for maintenance. We get higher service priority than other customers, especially if there is a problem. Which brings me back to the May 2013 service on our exterior A/C heat exchanger/coil unit. We are seniors and my wife is disabled. Excess heat can be a disaster for us. The Kemp folks responded promptly when the A/C failed to work when the first heat wave struck. A freon leak; they recharged the unit, but it failed again the next day. They came out again promptly, and a close examination showed that the out-of-sight heat exchanger/coil unit had crumbling tiny aluminum fins and a corroded copper tube. They don't see this often (especially on a unit that is only about 5 years old) and the odor seemed to confirm that the dog next door had been using it as a fire hydrant, maybe for years. The destroyed part looks like a big fuzzy trash can with a copper tube inside. Trane doesn't stock them locally since these units rarely fail. The Kemp technician ordered one with his cell phone late Friday afternoon before leaving our yard. Fortunately the weather cooled off. The part came in and the technician and the maintenance supervisor came out and got everything in order again. No problems since. I hastily erected a wire fence (hopefully temporary if not beautiful) to protect the repaired unit from the dog. I thought maybe the neighbor would like to cooperate with an attractive fence, but she denies her dog had any part in the problem. Kemp has stood behind their diagnosis of the cause of the problem--fire hydrantitis with telltale odor--and my wife and I are using that in our effort to collect the cost from our neighbor. The Kemp folks came out three times, and spent quite a few hours on this job. They didn't charge for the first freon dose, and the Trane warranty covered the replacement parts. We ended up paying $663 for the labor and the second freon charge. The Kemp folks really treated us right--way beyond what is normally expected of a heating and A/C company in my jugdgement.

They came out and advised me that they needed to order parts to fix the boiler. I waited months without heat and they still did not get back with me. I had another person come out to check on it and all he needed to do was tighten a small valve and the leak was fixed.

Everything went well and both the air conditioning and furnace have been doing fine for nearly 2 and a half years. But it's been too long to give any details about the installation process. I don't remember any problems though.

The technitions working for this company are very good at their job. Cleanup is excellant. In my limited experience with contracters, They far surpass anyone else I have ever used.

I paid $50.00 for the estimate, which would have gone toward the service had we bought the property. It was money well spent. They discussed both high-cost repairs, and cheaper options/materials, usually recommending the cheaper option. I respect (and appreciate) that.

I liked them but their estimate was little high than what I ended up doing the work with. I had no problems with them. I would call them again for an estimate. They were very knowledgeable.

I spent about $5000 on that service. He was professional and the work has been good. He called back promptly anytime I had a problem. I did have to wait about 4 or 4 weeks to have the work done, but it was in the summer, so everybody needed work done. I was put on the list, but it took him a while to get here. I wasn’t here when the work was done, but my husband was. I thought that the furnace I got was for a good price because I got a lot of estimates and his was a good price. I have no complaints because he was what I expected.

It went well even though they had to work in the snow.I was without heat for only a couple of hours.It was a shock seeing some of the chimney had to be removed in order to vent the furnace up it.they were on time, cleaned up, and informed me of what was going on during the instalation and show me how to operate everythiing.

Needed furnace and got competing bids. Mike Kemp came out and did the estimate. He looked at the house and evaluated the capacities needed for the furnace and a/c. Gave us competitive bids for Carrier, Trane and Goodman. Mike was very informative and low key (no hard sell). We decided to go with the Carrier 3 stage for consistent heating. Kemp was competitive on their bid and provided a free service call to keep our old furnace up and running until they could install the new furnace. The installation was extremely well done and the installers were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. Mike delivered on everything that he promissed on his bid. The furnace works great, rooms that were previously cold are now comfortable. We have the furnace set at 68 degrees and it stays consistent at that temperature without fluctuation. We are very pleased with the product, the installation and with the company's professionalism. Absolutely no complaints, would use this company again and would recommend without reservations.

I have been satisfied with their service. Just the knowledge that other people are using them and are satisfied with them is what led me to use them in the first place. I will continue to use them in the future.

I got 5 estimates for a new furnace and air conditioner. Kemp was the most creative and helpful with what I wanted. Finding out about furnaces has proved to be challenging. They install Carrier and Trane. Their price was reasonable and less than another company selling Carrier. I'll let you know who I go with!

We found out about them via a website for a furnace company. We dealt with Mike Kemp (one of the owners). He came out and provided information, created an estimate and analysis for unit size. He's very low key, very knowledgeable and does not hard sell.
