Dan was very easy to work with until the project neared completion. It became clear that his assessment skills were lacking. He was unable to install the shower fixtures we had chosen due a size problem. He did not realize it until he spent nearly a day trying to make them work. When he showed me the problem, it was clear to me that he should have been able to determine this by taking a measurement. He was also frustrated that I could not drop what I was doing to go buy a different fixture. He did not consult with us about how we preferred a light/ceiling fan be installed, so it is installed very close to the ceiling, as opposed to hanging down. He took nearly a week to complete the work, when it should have taken 1-2 days. His final charge was nearly double his estimate. He called demanding sudden and immediate payment, when we had made other arrangements. He became angry and hung up on me. His wife helped to address his fee and payment arrangements, but we are not happy with the work
