Description of Work: I contacted Estate Liquidation Services by Marc Dlugos to auction my estate, 2 weeks ago. Sorry but his response was a lie. My estate sale made $50,000 for Jay Wilkinson. I did not take the valuable things from the home. We sold a ton of things because of a move from a 11,000 square foot home to a 5,000 square foot home. This was his loss, I am sure it would have been one of the biggest sales he would have ever been hired to do. He should have been more patient to listen to my questions before jumping to negative conclusions.

Description of Work: My mother moved from her house into an apartment in a retirement community several hours away. She left behind furniture, appliances, household items, tools, collectibles, lawn and garden items, etc... I needed professional help for an estate sale. I found Marc here at Angie's List. Marc's business is located in Carnegie where I work. I know several of his family members and he survived my intense interview. I found Marc to be honest and straightforward. He met me at my mother's house approximately 30 minutes from his office. Marc appraised the items and agreed to conduct the estate sale. He advertised the sale to the public using Trib Total Media and notified his contacts and buyers. He brought all the items from the 2 outbuildings down to the house. He went so far as to work diligently at starting a lawn tractor which hadn't been run in over a year. Marc was able to get the tractor started after charging the battery at his home. He researched the items for sale. Marc set up tables, then displayed and priced all the items in the house. He delivered large items to buyers. He even had plastic shopping bags and paper for wrapping collectibles. At the end of the sale, he was able to convince a buyer to remove all the "junk" left over that did not sell. He gave me the cash register receipts that day. Marc stayed with the house until everything was completed and "broom clean". Within a few days, I had the statement of services, the receipt for the advertising, and a personal check.

Description of Work: Estate Liquidation Services cleaned out my mother's house, selling whatever had value disposing of that which did not.

Description of Work: The company sorted through the items in the house that were for sale and determined what each item may be sold for. They then set up everything, advertised the sale, and did the clean up at the end. I did not have to worry about a thing.
